thanks for the comment Ecgordon; I met Joss at the Chicago WonderCon (he was their Guest of Honor) in 2004... he had agreed to being a Guest of Honor before he knew he'd be in the middle of filming Serenity. But since he had already agreed he flew out on the red eye Friday night after filming all day long... arrived in Chicago in time for his autograph session and panel on Saturday (he could barely stand up he was so tired). Then Sunday morning, after a good night's sleep, he did the VIP signing... which I had paid for. He signed three things for me and when I told him I had already bought 8 sets of Firefly DVDs (giving them out to friends and family) he insisted on giving me a big hug. So that is when the photo was taken. It was really fun to get to meet him....
I felt very lucky.

This is a coincidence. I was looking through the BSR this morning for a particular picture when I came across one of you and Joss together. Not sure where the picture was taken or when, but it was probably around the time Serenity was released. Glad you found your way back. Don't let it be two years before the next visit either.
