Here's another lil stream of conciousness set durring the movie. It was written at first for a specific character, but then, after it developed a bit further, I realized it could fit two characters very well. Lesse if you can figure out who they are.

Do I even care anymore? Have I ever?

I hang my head, hands clasped in my lap. She lies there. She who is the weakest but also the strongest. And I have cared before. I have felt for her. I say I do. I act I do. Do I?

What do they think? Do I even care about that? So many questions. I cannot answer. No one can.

Does she know? Can she tell that I don't? I don't want her to know that I might not care. I could give up on her live everyone else. I have that chance. I have had it often. Yet I don't. But I cannot say that it is not my mistake.

If she only knew…

I enjoyed that alot.

To me, I'll say it was Simon talking about River which makes this a very powerful if short peice.

After much deliberation...more like a couple of minutes. I would have guessed Simon to River or Kaylee, or Jayne (for some odd reason). But it works for many diff characters. Make it go wherever you want. That is one trademark of a good writer. You don't tie anyone down with just one interpretation :) YAY!

I was thought it could be Mal thinking on River, not in a romantic way but in the way he always seems to protect her, even when he shouldn't. It doesn't mean he does not have second thoughts after the fact.

Good call Anonymous (216.199.4.253), I personally agree with the Mal thinking on River bit... also for some odd reason I got a little hint of Mal thinking on Inara... but thats just me... still very short and very very GOOD ficlit, keep it up!! :)

i think it's mal talking about Inara, or river, am i really the only one this be thinking Inara? maybe simon to river, but he seems to hopeless to be simon. Simon seems to have endless love for his sister -tell me what the answer is-

Watched the BDM. Got ideas. Wrote for the first time in a god bit. Mal, River, during the BDM.

I watched the BDM today. This is a scene from it. Zoe's pov, dialogue from the script.

Yay! I wrote again. First in a long time. I think I wrote this from Kaylee's perspective, at least in Kaylee vernacular, but I'm not really sure why. I know it's short and prolly not very Kaylee, but I wrote. I also don't really know what it's about. Comment as you like.
