Me, I like everybody. Seriously. Well, ok, nobody likes Jayne much, but he can be dealt with. I've really never had much a problem at all getting' along with anybody. This is, except for one lady. You see, when first I met my wife, she was cold. Real cold. She regarded me with a stare as hard as rock. Her full lips were all pressed together in a line and the glint in her eyes was nearly unreadable. Except I'd seen it before on one other lady, my mother. That look was disapproval. So I gave her a broad grin and waggled my eyebrows at her a bit. The glint grew fiercer and she turned away. So much for that.

Anyhow, Mal liked me right off and I got hired aboard Serenity. Man, I do love this ship. She loves me too. Cos I get along well with others, y'know. Anyhow, it didn’t take all that long before Zoe opened up to me a bit. Well, not really. She's a closed sort of person. But she obviously opened up to me enough for us to get married. Yep.
