BLUE SUN ROOM FAN FICTION - GENERAL
It seems the 'young crew' is my line of writing of late. So here is a glimpse of young Zoe. Very short.
CATEGORY: FICTION TIMES READ: 1893 RATING: 8 SERIES: FIREFLY
"Sensible shoes" her mother had said.
Zoe "hrumphed" and grudgingly went to change out of her combat boots. What was so sensible about them anyway? They didn’t function for anything. No support, no durability. She couldn’t climb or run or anything.
"And comb your hair!" He mother called. At this Zoe rolled her eyes. Surely her mother had no idea how hard a task that was. Well, sure she knew, her hair was just like Zoe's, long and densely curled.
Zoe obediently worked some of the tangles out of her hair and pulled in into a thick ponytail at the base of her neck.
"Now we're going to be late!" Mrs. Alleyne flailed her delicate hands in exasperation and hustled her reluctant daughter to the waiting shuttle.
