Browncoat Car Magnet
Tuesday, June 13, 2006

I'm going to be ordering some of these. They're the "standard" 8" car magnets. Course you can use 'em anywhere in the 'verse. Not sure what to charge for them though, any ideas Browncoats?

Those are really cool.

However, I would charge under 5 dollars. 10 bucks for a magnet, even a really cool one that represents us Browncoats, is a mite high.

I've seen the "normal" ribbons for $1 in some dollar stores but I can't go near that low! Regular stores have them from $2.99 to $5.99, I've seen. How would $5 be? The key is, if I sell them at cons it's best to not have to start fiddling around with all sorts of change. My pins are $5 and the lanyards are $5, I'd like to keep it easy peasey! If they sell I can look into "Support our BDHs". You'll get a LOT of folks asking for an explanation on that one if you put it on your car! Not that "Browncoat" won't cause lots of perplexed looks! I'll be posting on the regular board when they are available. Or keep watch on http://www.OutToTheBlack.com.

So is $5 fair, Browncoats?

$5 sound about right. And you're right that it would keep the change to a minimum. All though you're going to have to deal with a lot of shipping charges from us on the web. :-)

BDH Car Magnet ... soon
I decided to make a BDH design as suggested by some folk. By the way the magnets are 8" x 4".

One of the new items I will have at DragonCon. You can e-mail FireflyGal1@hotmail.com or order them off http://www.OutToTheBlack.com or see me at D*C. You can also stick them on your refrigerator or hang them on the wall, let's not pigeonhole ourselves into 1 use ok? Small disclaimer - I have no idea how much the color might fade and how strong the magnet is if you place it on your car. This is why I suggest some indoor uses too.

Thanks to Christopher Robin for shrinking these to a normal size AND for eliminating the demonic red eye! Apologies for the repeat too but I did delete the previous ones.
