Only question now is: what kind of game would it be? FPS, like Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force? RPG like Knights of the Old Republic? MMORPG like World of Warcraft or Neverwinter Nights? Strategy like the Civilization series?

Why dont we make an Appeal to games companies to look at the Firefly and Serenity series as a possible Role Playing game. A fully interactive environment, become a captain of your own ship and recruit a crew and find jobs as they come, avoid the law(alliance Feds).
Buy a ship, or become a fed.......hunt down the rogues and theifs on the border planets.

Like a cross between EVE online(except more exciting, EVE online seems alittle slow and boring to me) and something where you can go FFS or 3rd person action on the ground and use a variety of vehicles such as quad bikes, hover cars, or even Fed drop ships.

Ships cud vary, the rare firefly class, to al the different type, join the Alliance and become a captain of a warship.
Avoid or battle Reavers.
Travel anywhere in the Vers.

It could be an online game, buy it and play online and you can recruit a cew of real people, design your own character, buy ur own inventory and ships parts, build ur own ship.
Become a Pirate, Theif, Scavenger or Fed (chosen ingame by following wot eva course u want)
Maybe you could even(with enough money) set up your own buisness or Corperation.

Lets force game companies to consider this!

My suggestion as a game is that it could be played as a third person shooter, but with story line events that have each characters lead up to how they have gotten to Serenity.
Jayne's first mission for instance could be him getting Vera (I like to think that it probably happend at a Whorehouse)
It could also reveal storyline about Zoe's and Mal's Background in the war.

If there isn't a game out like this when i finally get to finish my game design course, I am making it!!!

But that wont be until like 2010 so don't hold your breath...

I think it should be like Freelancer (if anyones played that) but build on it with a role playing element to it and differnet ships of course and have GTA stlye worlds but get rrid of the annoyin docking system where you'd be waiting hours just to dock on a planet i mean it's a planet can't more than 1 ships land at once!!!
