Day 2-Miranda

Today was a day of celebration. My family and I made it to the ground and what a sight it was. Unlike most Border and Outer worlds, Miranda was a global city, a Core world planet!!! People of all kind were crowding the streets already. Most of them(myself included) started out as poor beggers within the Core, with no chance of getting our own apartments like the ones I'm looking at right now. Not to mention clean air for a change. The atmosphere back on Capital City reeked! Now 30 million people will get a clean fresh start. A new life. All thanks to the goodness of the Alliance. What would the 'verse be without them? My family is given a apartment and we settle in quickly. We greet our neighbors and they greet us. We ate our dinner for the first time here and I gave a special toast to the Alliance. Then the day ends and night comes. The girls are asleep, and my wife and I sit on our balcony to watch the stars. Then we went to bed. I pray and thank God for what he gave me today. How much more would anyone need on Miranda?
