Reposting my first fan art image. Think I've figured out how to make image appear smaller on screen. Again, apologies for poor scanning. Maybe someday I'll invest in a better one...

Inara da Vinci
I was cleaning out my great aunt's attic and found some old sketches by Leonardo da Vinci. They were part of a series of studies he used for either his paintings of Leda or the Madonna, and he indicated the model was Signora I. Serra. Why does she look so familiar?

Hurt
What have I become? / My sweetest friend / Everyone I know / Goes away in the end / You could have it all / My empire of dirt / I will let you down / I will make you hurt. My scanner still sucks - lost most of the values on the light side of his face, which makes him look a little less sad/pained than in the original drawing, but overall ok w/how it turned out. Enjoy (and if its your thing, drool ;P )

Big Man with a Gun
What would Jayne be without a fierce gun and fiercer look? Snagged from War Stories. (again, soory about poor scan - lost about 1/2 the values on his face).

River in pencil
Another one of our BDH's sketched out in pencil. Ugh - do I ever need practice w/hair! I guess I'll just have to keep sketching our lovable heroes til I get it right...

Zoe in pencil (repost)
Still workin' on getting my drawing chops back. Before I sketched Mal it had been about 6 months since I'd picked up pencil & paper. Didn't quite get the nose right, and gave up on the hair (very challenging), but overall not unhappy w/it. Again, poor scanner quality, so the eyes got weird too, but I can live with it.
