OK, the first character is:

dai- bones

There's also a chance that the second character makes it "evil bones"

I found this at http://zhongwen.com, paging through the characters.

Or, closer still, it's the symbols for "crushed bones" and "inverted person"

... meaning? [my own interpretation here] Skeleton?

YOUNGSPIRIT


I've been learning some Japanese, and some of the (kanji) symbols are very similar to Chinese. To me that looks like only one character, "Shi" (die, death) from the verb "shi-nu" (to die) I don't know how to pronounce it in Mandarin, though...

Well, a group of fans got together and dressed as all 9 for D*C. Great idea. Matt Anderson (Jewel's husband) seemed to really like it, so he jumped in for the photo. :-)
