That was so cool, I wish I was in the main hall when that happened - btw Clare deserves extra credit for all the time she spent in costume waiting, she has some stamina & a great imagination.

Yes that is Alan behind Clare, he was totally gobsmacked when Clare came in, his face was a picture!

We thought we had already seen the winner when the Jayne statue came in (Anyone got a Pic?) But the room went wild when Clare came in, the guests could not believe what they were seeing and Alan went and hugged Clare and had his picture taken with her.

I understand that later Alan tried on the 'Wash' mask .. Has anyone got a pic of thet ?

I think Alan was the only person who looked more stunned than I did. He really just could not believe it. And he did try on the mask... which only showed just how good it was!

I was so in awe of this superb costume when I saw it at Starfury:Serenity and could hardly wrap my head around the skill that went into this brilliant costume. One of the best bits was seeing the look on Alan's face, it was fabulous. Super shiny, Ali D :~)
