That's him alright. Interesting that you used black lines for the blonde hair, works pretty good.

So sweet! Oh God how I miss Wash!!!You really captured his funny/adorable essence in this. Thank you!
I have a request...remember in Serenity (the pilot) the moment Jayne realizes that Kaylee is all sweet eyes for Simon?
(When they are all at dinner together for the first time). Jayne gives them a look...before saying the embarassing thing, remember? Can you do that with your sepia style? I'd look a nice close up on that man's gorgeous face!

YES! One of my favorite Wash moments, and one of my all time favorite moments ever. You know I always pause and slow speed that part just to watch the ship turn and speed past the Reavers, and seeing Wash scream NOW. *sigh* Thanks for the memories and yet another gorgeous piece Phillips.

Incredibly good! Most screenshots don't capture Wash in a flattering manner, and I don't expect drawings to either.....but you did it! I love the happy little gleam in his eyes:)

MP, a little suggestion.

Why not donate some of your work for the charity auction at the next Flanvention? It's not until December but I'm sure it would be welcome, and I'll be there bidding on it. You'd get a good idea what your art is worth to the rest of us Browncoats, and the charity would pick up a few more bucks.

Just a thought...

mphillips, you are really an amazing talent. I've marveled at your work. That said, I have to give this one a thumbs down, only because of the choice of pose. He looks like Gene Wilder here. You could have chosen something better for our Leaf on the Wind.

Oh, no, a discouraging word... I picked this scene because it's Wash to me. Calm when under pressure and a mischievous glint to his eyes as he knows he's gonna totally blow the pants off the reavers..That's Wash..Not to mention it's a pivotal scene in the first pilot

NO WAY! THUMBS UP! This is by far my favorite and most memorable Wash scene ever, and you captured it perfectly! The look on Alan's face is flawless. Makes me want to cry that they had to kill him off in the BDM. *Sniff*

I really like the scene choice....it's a kick-ass Wash moment, plus it's a cute, handsome expression. Very Wash! I like your choice.

I absolutely love this scene. The Crazy Ivan!! Woot woot!

DonCoat has a good idea though. Donating some of your work for charity stuffs. Hell, I'd bid.
