Not only is this my first post here and the first time I've made any Firefly fan art, it's also the first completed picture I've ever made in Photoshop. So, keep that in mind when providing feedback. I hope to do something more creative next time.

Ditto anon. It is very trippy, but I like how that kind of represents how River is disassociated from the world around her at times and how it brings focus to the images that are no so trippy: River and the branch. And yay! The quote is there.

nice work my only quarell and is the feet they just have that cot and paste look it's always nice to smudge the edges if only slightly to get rid ot it a bit but still nice work especially for first time

It's a good pic for your first try. I'd have to agree, the feet sort of stand out. But hey, we all have to start somewhere, right? I think it's pretty darn good for the first one. I can't wait to see more from you. Oh, and I love that scene, btw.

I'm with Arcadia here. :) It really shows how dissociated River is from the world; how "warped" she perceives things.

PhotoShop wise, very nice job with the transparency tools! If this is your first work, then it's just gorram brilliant! :)
