You really have some talent there but I think your faces need some work. They are excellent faces but they don't look as like the folk they're suposed to as they could. Also, Mal's hands are a bit small. Overall though, quite shiny ;). Nice shading. Kepp it up.

yeah, if Inara's face was filled out a little more in the cheeks it would look more like her, but the eyes are really well done, and her midriff looks awesome.

as for Mal, his hair and facial details are really nice, his eyes might be just a little too high, but that could be me.

you should draw more stuff, i like this style.

Mk, Im liking the idea. In my opinion the faces arent that bad (despite the fact that they dont really resemble who theyre supposed to be, its so hard to get likenesses!!!!! ><) Its the proportioning that needs a wee bit of work. (gotta hate that proportioning crap) I could go into detail but I feel like Im being rude so Ill shut up. Keep up the work!

Sweet but dangerous River
This is my First POST! I want to thank mphillips for inspiring me (and lurking for 2months) to do these images for my Industrial Design/Ideation class!
This pose of river is taken from one of the Serenity comic covers done by Josh Middleton.
Of course these have to be brown ^_^
