America loves a winner!

3 yrs ago ( Dec 3, 2002 ) Glenn Quinn passed away. What's strange, is that i'm rewatching S1 of Angel this week,(by coincidence ? or not). I am so impressed w/ Doyle as a character. Creepy and sad to watch someone w/ such spark and talent on screen and know his life ended, far too young. I never did watch every ep from S1 yet, for some reason, and felt like going back and watchin' it in full. I'm glad I did.

I suspect others feel a bit like I do, angry at Glenn, for throwing his life down the drain like he did. Utterly pointless.

While I became an Angel fan more after the fact, I'm thankful that I was able to catch every episode. Don't know about y'all, but on Saturday, I'm gonna raise a pint for Glenn... for his brief time here, and to what could have been. Thanks, mate.

For Glenn...

Think I'll see if I can find one of the many, many episodes of Roseanne that's on everyday and see if he doesn't turn up. I bet he does. I thought he was great in it as well.

But, nothing compares to Doyle, which was the main reason I started watching Angel in the first place...

May he have left whatever demons were with him here on earth and fly to more peaceable surroundings.
