His hair (throughout the course of Season 4 especially as it was getting longer and longer) was one of those rare superficial things that really bugged me to no end. Watching Vincent Kartheiser in Mad Men on AMC, I realize how wrong I was to criticize it.

THIS is much, MUCH worse. This hair cut, no doubt due to the way men traditionally cut their hair during that time period, just does NOT suit him.

That's all I'm sayin

(but still could do WITHOUT the graphic, animal-killing references)

The only time I didn't like his hair was in season three. It made him look like even more of a little kid. I was actually glad once it started getting longer.

I really have to get around to watching Mad Men. I've heard a lot of good things about it.

They should have had his hair really long and crazy like a troll doll. I mean the only way he had to cut his hair all those years would have been a sword or dagger. Anyway if he had big scary troll doll hair in a ponytail he coulda hid weapons in there too.

DeepGirl: Mad Men IS really good, IMO. But watching the women, they way they both act (and what they both tolerate and enjoy from men) during that time period, makes me so unbelievably glad I was born in the '70s. It's completely nauseating. Not that it's perfect today, either, but it's better for the most part anyway.

FYI, Christina Hendricks has a role in it too, and it's not completely unlike YoSafBridge.

*grin* I watched the premiere episode of Mad Men and yes, Pete's hair...turned me off that character. Vincent Kartheiser is NOT a person who should cut his hair...ever. I remember watching his screen test in the extras for season four -- or was it three (should check DVDs) and being creeped out by the way it seems to sit on his head when it's short. When it's longer, it doesn't cling and...*shudders*...that's just an improvement.

Other men who should not cut their hair: John Patrick Amedori and Ashton Kutcher, both of whom suffer the same phenomenon. I can only be thankful that no one thought cutting their hair was a good idea during The Butterfly Effect because that would have been so much creepier.

I actually prefer his hair in Mad Men. But then again I can´t stand Connor in Angel. I cringed everytime he was on screen from the last half of season 4 and onwards.. He´s great in Mad Men though

Absolutely! The thing that finally put me over the edge was when we find out that Connor's been seeing Jasmine's true form the entire time, and then he says, "She's beautiful," in that creepy, serene voice.

I had to go run to the sink to vomit.

(Of course, I also have a phobia about maggots)
