I seen her in Buffy S3, and early on in Angel torturing Wesley, and feelin' sorry about it. Last I saw, she was in jail.
I'm gonna be seein' her in S7 of Buffy (working up to it; I'm on the first third of S6 in the Chosen Collection), or so I hear tell.
But my question is, what role did she play in later Angel eps? Was she on it for a whole season, or just more 'appearances'?

...just curious...

She was in three Angel episodes that year. It wasn't timed that well with Buffy airdate-wise since the UPN and WB refused to cooperate, but it was all supposed to go in a certain order between the two shows. But anyways, Faith was in three episodes where she escaped the pokey (very cool), fought the Big Bad(s), beat up Wesley's shower, and took a mind trip with Angel/us. Willow showed up to work a lot of mojo and then chauffered Faith to Sunnydale, where she was in all of the final 5 episodes.

Eliza Dushku was offered to star in 'Faith' once Buffy ended, but she chose Tru Calling instead. The word is that 20th Century FOX offered her a lot more $$$$$$ to stay AWAY from UPN.

Well, that sucks.
Was Tru Calling any good, at least?
(What am I asking; Faux cancelled it- it must have been GREAT.)

Personally I thought it was incredibly boring and predictable but it was starting to get better at the end. Or at any rate it was starting to develop an actual arc when it was cancelled.

It got an entire full season and was picked up for a second. They got 6 episodes in to filming the second season when FOX abruptly stopped production. They aired a few of those episodes but then it was formally cancelled. The whole thing was just...weird. The wackiness of its cancellation is a much more interesting story than the actual show.

Actually it wasn't THAT great. it was OK, but I seem to remember another show where dead people contact the main character to and have that character try to save them, I just can't think of the name of the show!

Also, I broke a knuckle on my left hand 'cause I got ticked at my father for changing the chanel half way through the first episode!

Early Edition? Although it wasn't the dead that contacted the guy but a newspaper from tomorrow delivered by a cat. Close enough.

On that, we certainly agree.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

Does anyone know whether those six episodes of the second season made it onto DVD? Or are going to in the future? I watched all of the episodes with Jason Priestley through Netflix and I have to say, he's amazing. He and Faith...I mean, Tru...had real chemistry. And the story arc, that was all due to his character. If the second season isn't on DVD, maybe there's a more illicit way of getting it...?

Best Buy was selling Tru Calling season 2 as an exclusive thing--no one else had it. Maybe they still have copies (but of course you'd have to pay for it). I never had fast enough downloading capabilities so unfortunately I'm not that knowledgable about the illegal means of obtaining the episodes.

Thanks, Amyel. I checked it out and it's $24.99 + shipping, which is a bit pricy for 6 eps. But who knows, maybe I'll cave in and buy it.
