Just read that not all the WB Stations agree with Angel's demise...

http://www.saveangel.org/index.php?story=67

I've heard some discussion (alright, desperate wishing) of Tribune taking over Angel (like Andromeda and Mutant X)... perhaps this is an indication that such is possible... anyone have any real info to add?

We can only hope someone does...

However, after what was done to andromeda...

(with still no definite answer on who is responsible for all the horrible horrible changes)

Not too sure on who was responsible (might've been a committee), but I know that things went downhill after Robert Hewitt Wolfe, the show's original producer and head writer left after a "creative dispute" with the production company (they wanted more action-oriented, stand-alone episodes, instead of long story arcs). So long as Joss, David Fury and the others stick with it, I think Angel would be fine even if Tribune took over...

I have to say, I find this EXTREMELY funny. One things for sure, if the WB decides not to reverse the decision and renew "Angel" for a sixth season in spite of all the media attention and support for the show, they are definitely going to look ike complete fools. I don't think all the excuses in the world could save them then....

Thank you for posting the link to this site. It helps me continue to hope for Angel's return. One of the other articles at that site talks about not giving up hope and to continue fighting even when it feels that what we do won't matter. I think a lot of us here at this site feel that way because of all the effort we put forth to save Firefly, that in the end didn't work out for us. Or did it create the possiblity of a feature film? The one thing I know fan support did do from watching the DVD was to give the cast and crew of Firefly the strength to continue fighting. I hope that this will have the same affect for Angel.

I only fell is all.
