1. Angel speech - 'Epiphany' - Angel: " If there is no great glorious end to all this, if - nothing we do matters, - then all that matters is what we do. 'cause that's all there is. What we do, now, today. - I fought for so long. For redemption, for a reward - finally just to beat the other guy, but... I never got it. Not all of it. All I wanna do is help. I wanna help because - I don't think people should suffer, as they do. Because, if there is no bigger meaning, then the smallest act of kindness - is the greatest thing in the world."
2. Angel/Darla scene in watertank - 'Dear Boy' - Darla: "No matter how good a boy you are - God doesn't want you! But I still do."
3. Angel lights Darla and Dru on fire - 'Redefinition' disturbingly sexy, Angel leaning against car smoking the cigarette right before he drops it, disturbingly sexy
Honorable Mention: Lindsey singing - 'Dead End' - so sexy

And off topic, slightly, if you had to pick one episode of Season 2 to show someone who had never seen an episode of Angel before, in hopes that the person might want to see future episodes, which one would you choose? I was thinking 'Guise Will Be Guise' because I feel its one of the funnier eps of the season, but I don't know if that is only because I know and love Wes already by that point.

Which one episode? I'd go with Reunion, my favorite for that season. Darla and Dru on their "shopping" spree is priceless. Then later, in the wine cellar, when Angel throws Holland's words back at him right before he locks all the lawyers in with our two girls. That was awesome.

I'm going to take some time to think about my three favorite moments from this season, there are sooooooo many, it's really difficult to choose. Although one of them definitely is the shopping spree.

OK, I think I've figured out three favorite moments from season 2, although they will probably be subject to change before I even finish this post:

1) This one won't change. Darla and Dru on their "shopping" spree. Have you ever seen two (vampire) girls have so much fun?

2) Now I forgot what I was going to put 2nd, so I'll put my third fav here... and that's when the guys go to Pylea to rescue Cordy. Then they're captured and taken to the castle for their execution, but first they have to be sentenced to death by the ... OMG IT'S CORDY! We all know it now, but the first time I saw that, especially the costume she had (almost) on - OK, mainly it was the costume, but hey, that was great!

3) My 2nd fav still has to be the other scene from "Reunion" where Angel locks the lawyers in with Darla and Dru. That was good.

LISSA

1: Lindsey singing. yummy...
2: Angel locking the lawyers in the wine cellar, of course!
3: This is kind of a little moment, but so great! I don't remember wha ep exactly, but when Cordy tells Angel she loves him (I think it's after he gives her all the food in Dead End, or maybe after he gives her all the clothes...)and he gets that huge smile on his face. so cute!

for the ep to show a newbie, i'd have to agree with "Guise Will Be Guise" because it's really funny and not as arc-heavy as most of the season's eps. And Wes is so cute!

Angel: "You were in Virginia?"

Wes: "That's beside the point."

Yes, Yes, I love this scene...One of my absolute favorite lines of all time:
Angel:'You set things in motion, play your little games up here in your glass and chrome tower, and people die - innocent people.'
Holland: 'And yet I just can't seem to care.'
Later at the Wine Cellar...
Holland: 'Angel - please. - People are going to die.'
Angel: 'And yet, somehow, I just can't seem to care.'

I missed that the first couple of times, too. It goes by so fast that, especially the first time, you don't even realize what Wes said. That's what's so great about Joss' shows. There are so many little jokes and references that are either hidden, or simply under-emphasized, that you often don't notice them until after many viewings. Even now, there are some Buffy episodes that I've seen 6 or 7 times and I'm still picking up new things. Most other shows are boring and pointless on the FIRST viewing - not so in the Whedonverse.

1) Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been?
...All of it.
2) Epiphany speech someone already transcribed. Pure poetry.
3) A tie between Untouched and Dead End, two of the finest episodes in the entire Buffyverse. (I'm hopeless at picking single moments!)

Honourable mention: Angel visiting Faith in prison at the end of Judgement.

Yes - that's so good! I've found that to be a great episode for getting older people interested in the show. I got my mother into "Angel" through that episode and she "hates anything to do with vampires" - but she now watches Angel (re-runs on TNT) every day.

It's just a shame they didn't do more episodes like it. AYNOHYEB shows what the poor Why We Fight could have been.
