ANGELDOVE

OK everybody, here's Season 3

Angel: 'Its kinda hard'
Cordy: 'I kinda noticed' - Waiting In the Wings - also one of my all time favorite Joss writing/directing eps. The reference...he's talking about trying to open the door, its obvious what she's talking about.

(To a defenseless Wesley in the hospital)
Angel: 'I want you to know that I understand why you did it. I know about the Prophecies, and I know how hard it must have been for you to... do what you did. You thought I was going to turn evil and kill my son. I didn't. It's important that you know that. This isn't Angelus talking, it's me, Angel. You know that right? Good.' (Angel attacks Wesley) 'You son of a bitch, you're gonna pay for what you did! You took my son! You son of a bitch! You bastard! You think I'd forgive you?! Never! You're gonna die! You hear me? You're gonna pay! You took my son! You took my son! You took my son. Never! Never! Never! I'll kill you! You're dead! You're a dead man, Pryce! You're dead! I'll kill you, I'll kill you! You're a dead man! Dead! Dead!' - Forgiving -
I was shocked, I never expected that, still gives me chills.

Cordelia: (about Buffy) 'Angel, she was the love of your life and she died, and you weren't there when that happened, you couldn't help her fight, you couldn't save her, you couldn't die with her.'
Angel: 'And I'm okay. That losing Buffy didn't kill me. That I could deal with it. - In all those years - no one ever mattered. Not like she did. - And now she's gone - forever.
Cordy: 'And you're still here.'
Angel: 'Yeah. I just feel like I'm betraying her somehow.'
- Hearthrob - Sorry, but I still don't think he mourned her death quite enough, especially after everything he went throught for Darla...but I still love this scene

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less traveled by and they CANCELLED MY FRIKKIN' SHOW. I totally shoulda took the road that had all those people on it. Damn." --Joss

BIKISDAD

OK, I don't know if this counts because it's only on the dvd, but my favorite scene is:

1) Wes and Fred dancing in "Waiting in the Wings". She's gorgeous and he's hilarious. I'm so sorry, and sorry for Joss, that he didn't end up putting it in the final cut of the episode.

2) Gunn and Fred standing in the hotel lobby at the end of "Tomorrow" wondering where everybody is...

3) In "Dad", when the "baby" that Angel hands over to the pursuers turns out to be a bomb. The first time I saw that, it completely took me by surprise, 'cause, Angel, not previously big with the using of the bombs. But it explained the comments he had made to Gunn earlier in the ep. about getting certain supplies (I forget the exact wording).

Apathy on the Rise. No One Cares.

XCLAIM

1. Cordelia and Wesley mocking the Buffy/Angel tragic romance on "Fredless"

2. Fred and Gunn hooking up. I didn't see that coming at all, but I thought they made a nice couple.

3. Cordelia and Lilah coming face-to-face for the first time on "Billy": "Are you going to invite me in? Oh wait, I'm not a vampire."

GROUNDED

1) Wesley talking to Fred at the door at the very end of Billy. Beautiful.
2) Darla staking herself. The best kind of surprise - you realise what's going to happen five seconds before it does and then you see it and you know that it's the best possible thing the writer's could have done.
3) "You're dead Pryce! Dead!"

Honourable mention: Angel sinking to the bottom of the sea. Soured slightly by the ridiculous sight of Cordy floating skyward.

KASUO

Skip the Demon: Hi.
Angel: Hi.
Skip: You know you're not supposed to be here, right?
Angel: Yeah. What about him? (points to prisoner)
Skip: Oh, him? Oh, he's supposed to be here. Do you have any idea how monsterous a guy's gotta be before he gets sent to us? We're a very high-end institution.
Angel: And it's your job to keep him here?
Skip: Yeah. (extends hand) I'm Skip.
Angel: Angel. (pause) So...ah... you live in here, Skip?
Skip: No, I commute. Not too bad. About 20 minutes.

LISSA

1.Darla staking herself--i even knew it was coming (I saw season 3 for the first time on dvd) and it still blew me away!
2.Wesley in the episode Billy: "Lie to me again, and we're going to have a problem." so creepy! and also pretty much the rest of that episode, especially the end w/ wes and fred.
3.The entirety of Waiting in the Wings, including the deleted scene w/ wes and fred. I'm a ballet dancer, and that combination of my two favorite things is just so perfect! It also rips my favorite couple apart (Fresley!) but in such a great way that I still love it lol. Oh ya, props to Alexis Denisof for those entrechacotte he, uh, attempted. or were they royale...either way, such a hard jump!
