geez. i was watching the episode of angel named "the girl in question".

Select to view spoiler:

i have to say, the change amy acker makes from fred to illyria in the span of about 2 seconds is pretty impressive. never really thought too much about her as an actress through most of the series because so often fred gets kind of overshadowed by the others. the voice, the look in her eyes, her body language completely change. i am thoroughly impressed.

I can't read what you wrote here, but since your headline is "WOW", I assume you're commenting on Amy Acker's performance in that episode. She was beyond WOW. It shows what a crock the Emmy's are that she didn't even get a nomination after performances like that.

Bikisdad... using your curser, put it near the beginning of the "quote" that appears to have nothing in it, hold down the mouse button, then drag over that area as if to select text there. The text will become visible as you select it. He merely used a font color that was the same as the background to hide it so that you had to do this to make it visible. A common means of hiding spoilers from those who don't wish to see them.

Danfan... Thanks for the advice. If I had something better than the piece of go seh internet access that I have, I would be able to follow your instructions. Unfortunately, Christmas, and getting a new system, are still a couple of months away. But thanks anyway!

i agree that the whole flying to rome plotline was kind of bizzare. it seemed a little overdone. the subplot with fred's parents, though, i thought was pretty good. it brought out more of wesley's pain and sadness which was not entirely necessary since that had been played up so much in previous episodes. the only real purpose it served for furthering the overall plot was the continued humanization of illyria.

And yet again ME felt the need to dredge up B/A and B/S stuff when they should have just let things lie.
