Hi, gang,
new to the Angel verse and I must say I'm hooked..In the last few weeks I've managed to get seasons one thru four on dvd and have watched one thru three....I got the first season just so I could get a feel for the show if they decided to chose me as a cover artist for the comics..and was told the second season was better and low and behold I'm hooked...$120.00 worth of hooked...Thanks a lot :)

Have you seen the episodes with the beautiful Gina Torres yet? (sorry, i watched "Angel" when it was on TV, and only because i ran out of "Buffy" and am now re-discovering my love for the Vampire with a Soul, so i don't know what season she shows up in...) I saw her on "Angel" before I knew about "Firefly," and so it made me kinda scared when I first met Zoe...

The episode with Summer has some deleted scenes that are fantastic!

Gina turns up in the end of Season 4 - a very dark season with a few great eps. Season 5 overall was better for me...

Oy. Can I just tell you guys - It all started with falling (Head over frickin' heels, here, people!) for Firefly and Serenity. Then I get hooked on Buffy. Yes, I realize that to err is human, but my sin leaves me somewhere on par with a demon - I had not seen Buffy until after it had already gone off the air. Tragic circumstance. Makes me innately distrustful of television these days.
Anyway, now I'm on Angel. What is it with clever lines and witty scripting, plot twists and character development??!! Oh my gosh! It's almost as though - wait for it - this were good TV!!! Who'd have thought.

So yeah. Considering the small fortune I've put into this little "obsession" of mine, I totally understand.

Soooo...can I borrow season four from you?

One of you is gonna fall and die, and I'm not cleaning it up!

Gina shows up on the last few episodes of Season 4. Gina and Summer were awsome in Angel, but I think Adam in the last few episodes of Season 5 was the best of the Firefly characters on Angel.

Whoa - so I watched Angel on TV but only found FF last year - it never occurred to me that that was Adam! As soon as I read you post I realized who he was, wild!

Just another reason I need to watch the old Joss series-es again... to see Nathan be creepy preacher guy on Buffy and Adam in a nice suit on Angel.

America loves a winner!

In the beginning, there was Buffy. And it was good. Ok, better than good, but I really haven't sat down and watched each ep, in order, as a good fan should. But I DID watch, enough...just to get the basics. Funny, witty and smart. Good stuff.

Then there was Angel. Dear lord, not a SPIN OFF! Everyone knows that spin off shows are the WORST, right? I thought so, 'till I caught a few shows. Wow, good stuff! But alas, too many references ( I thought) to Buffy, which I wasn't all well versed in... so I casually watched. At best.

Then there was Firefly. And lo, did I watch! I was hooked ! Dear God in heaven, I loved it!!! Give me more!!! What ? It's been Ca...CAN... CANCELLED?

Fuck!

Where's that Angel show ? Oh, good..it's still on....cool!

Now THAT'S been cancelled?? Damn!

Grrrrr

Wonderfalls ? Woo, lets check that out.... awesome! Wait..don't tell me.
Yep, cancelled too.

Anyway, you get the idea. Not everyone caught Angel in 1st showing, and it's always nice to see a new fan.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss
