RavenU over on Whedonesque says she spoke to his booking agent at the con and that he is not listening to his doctor and getting the rest he needs to heal. However she also says that his mom and dad have moved in with him to make sure he follows doc's orders. Also he is still on full time oxygen.

Poor Andy!

According to his website he came down with some kind of "complication" which was interefering with his breathing. It seems like he recovered from the immediate problem, but so far no more information has shown up.

I hope he is doing better. I was listening to his commentary with David Fury last night and I felt bad that he might be very sick. He seems like a class act and a real nice guy.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

That's good news!

Naturally enough, the subject of Angel came up during an intermission from Firefly Under the Stars at the PA Shindig and folks wanted to know how he was doing.

The green guy really grew on me. Wes was my favorite character, but i liked them all.

'Course, if they hadn't stupidly canceled Angel, I'd have a scheduling conflict with 'Lost', but so it goes.

However I think "Dietcoke's" question regarding my heart condition was rather immature, uninformed, and basically pretty stupid. I am constantly amazed at some of the garbage that comes flowing out of people's mouths when they know little to nothing regarding a situation. Especially a situation that obviously doesn't concern them in the least.

So, "Dietcoke" ... thanks for thoroughly researching the topic and for asking such a BS question. I can see you must have gotten access to, and carefully analyzed my medical charts and drawn your conclusion accordingly. Well, take care and keep up your BRILLIANT on-line comments.

Andy, my sincerest apologies. I did not intend the question to sound the way it obviously did. I have had three of my friends who were in theater die of the terrible disease.

I have always been a big fan of yours. I actually started watching Angel because I was channel surfing and saw your character singing. I stopped surfing to listen to your beautiful voice and got hooked on the show.

Andy, if you read this, I'm sorry you have to find things like that here.

It's so not cool.

One of my own family members told my dad I had AIDS or something to that effect, close enough, and that's why I was supposedly not happy with my cousin's marriage. I heard about it from my dad
and I could not believe it. I'm not sure who said it, but I was in shock anybody'd even think that and go telling my dad that!

Like it's anybody's business but my potential partners and mine, right? (and if you're drawing my blood, I would tell you as a courtesy.)
Some things are personal and should stay that way.

I feel we are privileged that you'd share any health info with your fans-because some of us do care alot and we want you alive and well for a long time. (Ok somebody jump in and turn that into something dirty...go ahead....)

Love it-(and yes he seems like a very nice guy, I got mail from him that backs that up. and I just heard he's a very good tipper-good tippers are the nicest people.)
the season 4 commentary by Andy and DF is fab.
First thing I went to was THE episode.
and found that commentary....
season 4-is a must-have!!!

I can't wait for the Angel album now...
If I can't buy it in an online store-my girls are gonna hook me up from the UK.

why are there so many naked men in joss shows?
spike, captain tightpants, the nekkid tracey,
angel, etc.

not that i'm complaining, but what's up with the male nudity? just wondering.
