HAHAHAHAHAHA! another comment about yet another angel rerun. the episode about harmony and her decidedly goofy misadventures was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! i have to say, the actress who plays the role has the stereotypical ditzy blonde, never got out of the high school mentality thing down pat! too funny! great lighthearted episode in the middle of all the doom and gloom that season 5 has been so far what with

Select to view spoiler:

the fake "cup of torment" and the backstabbing eve, wesley shooting what he thought was his father and angel doubting his status as champion

good stuff.

Just saw "Harm's Way" on rerun myself. Fun episode -- one advantage to only discovering Angel during the last season is that I get to see all the reruns "fresh", I.E., for the first time.

Got one question though; in the Wolfram & Hart "recruiting film" clip that opens the show, the narrator states that W&H has controlling interest in several major industries, specifically "Yoyodyne, Weyland-Yutari & NewsCorp".

"Yoyodyne" is, of course, from "Buckaroo Banzai", Weyland-Yutari is, I believe, from the "Aliens" movies -- but I'm pulling a blank on "NewsCorp".
Can anybody out there clue me in as to the reference?

"Hermanos, the Devil has built a Robot! Andale!"

i did not remember that! ABOSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! yes, weyland-yutari is from aliens. i believe newscorp is the collective name for all the fox networks owned by rupert murdoch. can anyone back me up? i remember it being mentioned in the simpsons in the episode when they all go to japan. lisa takes homer to the internet cafe and homer says he invested "in something called newscorp" and lisa yells, "dad! that's fox!" and homer screams "ahh! undo! undo!". of course, this is my only evidence. if it is true, then THAT is absolutely hilarious! i guess firefly had been canceled at this point, so it would make sense.

Yep, Newscorp is Rupert Murdoch's media conglomerate, of which F*x is a significant part.

I didn't remember that line either, but in the wake of Firefly's cancellation it makes a whole lot of sense and is die laughing Hi-larious.

glad i saved the episode. i will have to check out the promotional video again. it was really funny. "if you don't kill anyone, we won't kill you." what a selling point.

Wait! Does this mean that Wolfram and Hart was responsible for Firefly's cancellation? Sweet Baby Jesus, now it all makes sense...

perhaps it does. it ALSO means that angel has the power to bring it back! too bad wolfram and hart did not have a stake (no pun intended) in warner bros. then they could have saved themselves.

I had no idea!

I thought "Harm's Way" was a wonderful comic relief episode. I loved the employee orientation video -- too much fun. The only thing that would have made it better, IMO, would be if Phil Hartman could have done the voice over. That would've been sweet. Alas.
