You are on the internet posting on a website not run by yourself (though I wouldn't be shocked if this place actually is run by you. It would be the only thing you apparently don't do if you don't). You have the rights the owners of this webpage allow you to have. You have freedom of speech as defined by them. If they don't like the stuff you have to say, they can remove it and not have to answer a thing about it. The 1st Amendment does not apply here. Sorry.

You are, quite simply, incorrect.

The first amendment does not apply to private property. this is a privately owned board, and the owner can make whatever rules they want. Just as a restaurant can kick you out for saying something offensive. It is not a restriction on freedom of speech - because you are still perfectly capable of starting your own site, or standing in the street outside the restaurant, and saying whatever you want there.

Learn the law before hiding behind it.

I am not wrong The First Amendment states that the Federal government, and state governments through the 14th Amendment, may not pass legislation which interferes with citizen¿s freedom of press, religion, speech, and the right to assemble. However, private companies and organizations, acting in their own capacity, may not restrict this right. Server operators, which act as the private regulators of internet material, may not include in their terms of service agreement restrictions which act to limit First Amendment Rights in order to protect the integrity of their systems.

No one has passed legislation, nor is the service provider infinging at all. It's a private site - not the whole internet. Do some research before making a bigger fool of yourself.

You really, really, REALLY need to look into that whole "freedom of speech" thing. The Constitution says you can't be imprisoned for what you say (the Supreme Court has said there are some restrictions on that, such as yelling "Fire!" in a crowded movie theatre), but it certainly doesn't say there will be no consequences for what you say.

Put it to the test in your workplace. Walk right up to your boss or the owner of the company and call them a fucking idiot cunt, and see where that lands you. My guess is it will NOT net you that great promotion you were angling for. :)

This place isn't "in public", either; you joined here in order to post, and you agreed to the terms when you joined. Don't like it? There's the door.

Saying you've been censored is really weak, too. I rather doubt you have been. I've seen some REALLY outrageous stuff posted here, and Haken hasn't pulled it down or banned anyone as far as I've ever seen. Maybe you'll be the first, but I rather doubt it, and wouldn't want to see anyone banned, even if it was for "valid" reasons.

You are incredibly off the mark. Server operators are one thing; WEBSITE OWNERS are quite another, and the website is their private property. You've never been to a website or read their terms of service, wherein it says obscenities, and other things, are not permitted? Wow.

I'd like to know where you get the idea they can't restrict what you post, that's very strange. Do you really believe that freedom of speech means you can say anything you want anywhere you want?

The INTERNET is public, so anyone can say anything they want...on their own website. As you've been told, on another person's website, THEY have the right to set the rules and tell you what you can and can't talk about. You've never heard of "moderators"? Most sites have them, and if you've been to a site where they do, you'll find out right quick what's allowed and what's not allowed.

That's about "private property rights", which trumps freedom of speech. You can SAY anything on someone's private property, but they can also call the police and have you thrown OFF that property. Then, as mentioned, you can say all those things on PUBLIC property. Think of it that way, maybe you'll understand it better.

As I said, I haven't seen any sign of censorship; I'd like to know what to what you are referring...
