Hello Browncoats. I'm new to this whole Firefly/Serenity experience, hoving just received the complete series as a gift. I really enjoyed the movie and knew this was a concept I wanted to learn more about. Plus I had read all of the news about how the browncoats were the ones who helped make it possible for the movie to be made. My thing is, where can I gop online to learn more about the show, the concept, and all that stuff? I found this website and am still learning how to find what I want. Are there any other good places to go?

Kaele or FollowMal usually issue virtual browncoats to new members but they may be a little behind schedule. 3/27 is Nathan's birthday and there's preparation going on for a big celebration.

This here-now board's a great place to find out more about the 'verse, and others will be along with more suggestions. Just pick through the threads and you'll find URLs for all kinds of resources.

Oh, you'll find just about everything you need to know about the 'verse here on this website. There is an unfilmed script, and links to the River Tam Sessions and there are lots of just good links and resources all over the board.

There will more than likely be folks come along after us who point you to more stuff. Look about, make yourself to home. And it will become home, I promise you.

Thanks for the response everybody! I do have another question though. I've never been an avid follower of any other show/movie. I know why I like firefly, but I've heard a great deal about the intensity or should I say loyalty of browncoats, can I ask why? I'm not asking that to be sarcastic or anything, I just want to be a part of the action and ant to know the stakes so that I can ante up! I hope that makes sense.I guess I'm just asking about the culture of this community.
