Quote:Early's turn: Early eats his raw meat without wondering what it is. He suddenly hears excited Reavers jabbering, and the cries of a helpless woman. Reaver Scouts are bringing a captured human female on board. Jubil Early, now half-Reaver, crowds closer to the female captive, and his stomach groans with hunger. "Fresh meat," thinks Early. The woman is put into a cage. A mean-looking Reaver chases everyone away. But a few minutes later, when no one is looking, Early approaches her. Her skirt is in rags, and her blouse is torn, exposing one breast. It is fairly large sized. Early notices the sleeves are too long and it doesn't fit right in the shoulders. Early decides that the blouse isn't "fairly large sized" after all, but Extra Large Sized. "Your blouse is Extra-large sized," says Early. It's big, much too big for you." "Are you a Reaver?" the girl asks. "Reefer? Well, no, but I have a mighty bong." "I said, Reaver, are you a Reaver?" she says in a soft voice. "No," answers Early. "I'm a Reaver." END TURN

Quote:Hey Channain, You're correct. Pretty much all the code I've written for the site aren't error trapped (because I want to see where and how the code trips up), which means that it's not very elegant when something goes awry. That particular error you encountered was caused by lots of people trying to update the thread all at the same time. The code was written to handle such an occurance, but every now and then the number of people trying to update and view the thread exceeds the default I have set. If it this happens often, please let me know and I'll make an adjustment. Thanks for letting me know about this. Haken

I had a dream last night that Succatash's dog was in my bed when I went in to go to sleep, his head poking up from under the blanket. I told him he shouldn't be there, and he jumped up and left. Weird. Curious, what about my last post made you start the dream sequence? Was it the "evils of drink" sermon on the way?

I await your input, Oh Crafty Gunrunners.

Quote:Originally posted by Astriana: 3)At the very least, we'll need to put out a casting call for the role of Mal. Depending on the storyline, we can anticipate needing to cast some guest stars for parts integral to the new plot. (For example, are we going to meet up with Early again? If so, does Succatash want to reprise his role there? Etc.)

She's had insomnia for awhile now, though, which is why Simon had to use the drugs he did to put her under. I have a dream sequence coming up for her. Awfully sweet of you to be so concerned for her welfare, Geezer. I do have plans for a story arc for her, but if the RP doesn't warrant it, I'll probably pour it into my next fan fic. Quote:Posted by CapnRahn Channain Right on the nose! Simon will insist she sleep due to the apparent fatigue she suffers, not just her injuries. That sets up a later scene for Rowan and Simon to talk about her insomina. In addition, if pressed, Simon will adminsiter a stimulant if there is a need for another 'gun-toter'.
