Early eats his raw meat without wondering what it is. He suddenly hears excited Reavers jabbering, and the cries of a helpless woman. Reaver Scouts are bringing a captured human female on board.

Jubil Early, now half-Reaver, crowds closer to the female captive, and his stomach groans with hunger. "Fresh meat," thinks Early.

The woman is put into a cage. A mean-looking Reaver chases everyone away. But a few minutes later, when no one is looking, Early approaches her. Her skirt is in rags, and her blouse is torn, exposing one breast. It is fairly large sized.

Early notices the sleeves are too long and it doesn't fit right in the shoulders. Early decides that the blouse isn't "fairly large sized" after all, but Extra Large Sized.

"Your blouse is Extra-large sized," says Early. It's big, much too big for you."

"Are you a Reaver?" the girl asks.

"Reefer? Well, no, but I have a mighty bong."

"I said, Reaver, are you a Reaver?" she says in a soft voice.

"No," answers Early. "I'm a Reaver."

You're correct. Pretty much all the code I've written for the site aren't error trapped (because I want to see where and how the code trips up), which means that it's not very elegant when something goes awry. That particular error you encountered was caused by lots of people trying to update the thread all at the same time. The code was written to handle such an occurance, but every now and then the number of people trying to update and view the thread exceeds the default I have set.

If it this happens often, please let me know and I'll make an adjustment.

Right on the nose! Simon will insist she sleep due to the apparent fatigue she suffers, not just her injuries.

That sets up a later scene for Rowan and Simon to talk about her insomina.

In addition, if pressed, Simon will adminsiter a stimulant if there is a need for another 'gun-toter'.
