Sorry, Geezer - This is about Dragonfly bits in your last post. The Chimera has only been flying for around 2 years (2515, the current RP date/timetick is Jan 2518). The Chimera crew has been isolated on Arcadia* since the Battle of Serenity Valley (2511) until they finished and flew the Dragonfly class Chimera on July 4th 2515.

And Hlastoni is not the organizer, he is the pilot and 'security'. Marovech Rahn is the captain and main force behind the 'defection' from the Alliance.

I had thought Thorne was Ex-Alliance and would have ran into the APEs prior to Serenity Valley. BTW - 9/10s of the combat engineers {APEs} were killed at BoSV. Figgered since Thorne was sorta non-Alliance now he would have looked for folks he knew that he could 'trust' to do the last leg of the gunrunning.

And the getting suppies from Thorne - not so much. If you remember the set of DF docs I sent ya, they have nearly unlimited materieals on Arcadia. The supply running and gunrunning is to make credits or platinum for dealing with the 'Verse outside Arcadia.

BTW - who are the guns being delivered to? The APEs aren't into guns, being engineers and usually figuring out solutions BEFORE resorting to weapons.

*Arcadia - Orginally a 'breadbasket' world of the Alliance in the outer core. Until a year or so before the start of the Allaince VS Indpendents war. Became a Junk Yard Dump planet after a pangeaic plague was loosed on it, supposedly by the Indpendents. The Alliance used the destruction of Arcadia as the wedge to start the war with the Indpendents. Problem was reality - the virus was Durran Haymer's concotion - making Arcadia an Alliance 'sacrifice' to justify the war.

Not a problem. As St. Jayne noted some of it is just Thorne gassing, and some is that the DFers have provided misdirection as well. Thorne has never met Rahn, only Hlastoni, and assumes he's in charge.

I figured that the terraforming, housing, and weapons buys were for a secret colony, not necessarily for the DF crew, which could be the remaining rebels. Not really a plot point in the current story, unless someone wants to use it in their own arc.

Didn't the DF ship used to be the Justicar?

I knew that I had sent you a few docs on DF when it looked like you were going to play Jax. Just didn't know if you remembered ... can't expect you to remember the DF stuff with all the RL work and money hobby going on in your life at the moment.

It was, but the name and pronuciation was not quite right or popular. So I fell back to my favorite mythological monster. Considering that the Chimera is 'kit-bashed' from several ship classes - notably the Firefly class, of course - then name Chimera makes more sense than Justiciar.

Okay, I'm confoozled for a couple of reasons, Rahn. KalenVor mentioned you two talked, so I'm curious on the whole "trip in my mind" concept. Last I checked, this was all real. Secondly, Vampire classes are specifically trained for one-on-one combat. If it were multiple opponents, Slight would be in big-check that-huge trouble. But a one on one battle is what Slight was designed for. Bolo is powerful, but he has a couple setbacks from Slight. Blackout the least of them, plus the sight that Brink has gained.
Email me and we can hammer this out.

Hey all, just wanted to give you a heads up that I'll probably be cutting back on my IM time. RL is kicking me in the behind in the form of parents. Cutting down on IMs should give me more time to focus on homework, which should (hopefully) keep them happier about how I spend my time. I don't intend to cut back on my RP time unless I absolutely have to though, having way too much fun with it to do that

My e-mail is working again so feel free to e-mail me any time. Chances are, I'll still be sitting behind my computer just not on AIM or MSN as much as I would like. Hopefully being 'good' for a few days will redeem me from the Spending Too Much Time On Your Computer title.

I am 'editing' {loosely using the word edit} the chat and will send the orginal and the edited one to everyone so they can add to or tweak their parts.

Add like you, Geezer, Boomer, Astriana (she had to leave early) Ciara (she had to leave too.) and Teela will have to add whole dialogue sections.

Speaking of that:

EVERYONE
IF everybody agrees, I sugest this rule of thumb if you need to 'move' or have 'em talk - Contact the player and see what they would like to do

OR - get carte blanc from them in advance for you to puppeteer their character.

DOH, fergot the rule of thumb - Do not erase or change any of the dialog or moves of another character. You can add stuff, but don't disrupt the other characters "path" so to speak.

If you have trouble, send me what you have finished so far plus what you want to see accomplished with you moves/dialoge and I'll see what I can whip up.

So we got to finish iz this:

1) Finding out what the frell is wrong with Damon.

2) Rowan's call with her sister and the aftermath.

3) An interesting conversation betwixt Inara and Merz.

Then Mal calls Inara to have her and Rowan come on to the galley at 3, instead of down in the cargo bay.

Inara brings both Rowan and Merz ...

When that is wrapped up I will post the full MEGA-BLENDED POST Galley Strategy Scene under this ID.

I HOPE to post the MBP-GSS by next Sunday if not sooner. Saturday will have to be the final deadline for revisions to get back to me so I can edit everyone's revisions and additions into the MBP-GSS.

My goal is to get each of you the original and edited one no later than Tuesday morning.

Trust me you'll want to have both at the same time before you begin to do your own edit -- be it slight revisions {like getting your characters 'lingo' set to your satisfaction} to the others that have to do full additions.

Hey, Capn, looks like the post has been unblended. If it's ok with you, I think it may be easier for me to just post a regular post after Geezers. I think it'll save time and this way I can answer Thorne in the same post. I'll still be using what I wrote in the blend though... it'll give me a head start. LOL and that is just the fun stuff.

I go the jobs with the Indie film - No title yet, script is only an outline, and all I really know it is this:
It is a Werewolf film - another one by the makers of "Ginger Snaps 1 & 2" - the direct to DVD films.

I have the maquette for the main wolf and now have to mold and cast it.

Heh, looking at a mighty nice income from this one!

Other news!
My lot in Florida (Leghigh Acres) has JUMPED from $1800 to over $20,000 in less than a year - wow!

So I have to finish getting it transferred to my name. Have to get with my lawyer in Florida to get that finished - then decide which offers to buy to follow up on. Wish me luck!

That 20 grand (yep, according to my broker that is the amount I will get) will buy some nice film equipmnet.

Like a radio controlled helicopter camera crane!

There're actually quite a few who've not seen the memory stick yet: Zoe, Wash, Jayne, and Inara. Might be we should make sure that occurs either at or immediately after the meeting in the galley.

Seems like everyone's lined up to talk to Inara

Damon still needs to get on the Cortex for some info on NH. I think that's be happening after the meeting in the Galley. That ok with you Ciara? Capn, could you send that info to me when you have a minute? I think Channain wanted it too.
