POTENTIAL APPLICANTS-Based upon what you've already read of Eveningstar, tell me what direction you want to take her in. For example, she stays with Hexx and becomes his significant other, she bears his love child, she partners up with Hexx to do hit jobs freelance, she and Hexx go rogue from the Bank and they live life adventure-to-adventure, etc.

You will assume Eveningstar's persona. Her sense of humor, intelligence, feminine mystique, sexiness, etc. Possible evolution of character with a loose base on Firefly universe. Meaning you can take liberties with story elements as long as they don't conflict with spirit of the show. Characters of Hexx and Eveningstar can and will interact with Firefly regulars from time to time, individually or as a whole depending on adventure or story.

Not planning to play Eveningstar, myself either - not that I ever mentioned I would, but in case there was any wonderment on anyone's part, the answer would be to paraphrase Wash: "Sorry but... can't."

As many of you are already painfully aware, school&work have already combined to make my time at a premium for Rowan postings. Once the miniseries starts, I'll also be writing Xiang (you know, since I created him and all).

mmmmmmm ... vacation. I forgot what this was like.

It's day 2 of my self-imposed downtime. I'll be home, mostly, except for a lunch today and dinner and a movie tonight to continue the birthday celebration. I'm feeling a need to get organized before the next quarter of school starts - physically, environmentally and emotionally. That means my computer time will also be at a minimum, but I'll be sure to pop in and visit.

General announcement here: I spoke with CapnRahn this evening and he is experiencing health problems. Won't know what kind until testing done later.

He is not really up to much at the moment. He requested I let you know this: go ahead and make your moves. Simon just wanted to let every one know he is alright and things are going just peachy.

Maniac (& Debs), I'm happy to let either of you post for Simon. I'm not really "in his head" so to speak, so I have NO idea what he would say. Maniac, maybe you should get together with Teela and work out a Simon/River interaction. I can always move Kaylee out and down to the engine room, as she's said her piece. If it comes right down to it, we can always keep the rest of the Simon communique private (read: no new posts) and let the other GunRunners pick up the slack with whatever they're doing. I, for one, am anxious to see to the "Companion & Guest" interlude. LOL.

That reminds me...has anyone seen Geezer lately? He seems to have dropped off the planet, just like Capn! Hope he's ok...

Everyone: How's everybody doing? I have been thinking that we've been together for quite a while now. I love y'all. How bout an update on how yer doin?

I will start to make it easier, and cuz I wants to. I am pretty good.
Workwise - Lots of IRS tax work to do. Just got switched from working k-1's and 1120S's to 940's. I'll deal with the harshness of the forms with a good Shepherd's spirit... for those of you who don't know how much of a pain those 940 forms can be.
Lovewise - I am going to a party up Ogden canyon tonight. Maybe a hundred or so groovy cats dancin and wandering through the oaks and maples to some jammin live music. I won't tell you what they're doing in the trees besides dancin'. I won't be playing the role of the shepherd either.

Imagine this small venue, if you will.... tall mtns, the Rockies, a very steep-sided narrow canyon, a rushing river, steep slopes with pines at the upper levels and very rocky cliffs. A reservoir nearby with good fishing... if you like fishing. Skiing in the winter.. 3 resorts within ten minutes. snow basin powder mtn and nordic valley. (I've worked at nordic and snow basin, by the way. basin in summer... trial crew, much planting; nordic in winter... ski shop.) Did I mention I love to ski? That's probably totally off topic, but I love to ski, so there's never really a bad time to say you love it.

anyways, there's this girl, from my work, who'll be up the canyon tonight. I hope she notices me.
