TRILLION

To put this in context, the deficit for this year is about $0.4 trillion.
The entire Federal budget for 2017 in about $3.2 trillion.
The entire Federal (cumulative national) debt is about $20 trillion.

What this report says is that various Federal departments, notably the Army, "spent" a total of $21 TRILLION dollars without documentation (like receipts or reports) and therefore a total of $21 TRILLION dollars of "adjustments" had to be made to the Federal books.

This report was compiled from various separate reports generated by Inspector General's office, by Dr Mark Skidmore and graduate students at Michigan State. http://www.econ.msu.edu/faculty/skidmore/ Dr Skidmore is a recognized expert on local public finances.

If you don't listen to the video, let me just summarize that Dr Skidmore began this project trying to DISPROVE the comments of Catherine Austin Fitts, former Asst Scy of HUD under Bush, who has been saying for years that some agencies (like HUD) serve as a "piggy bank" for black budgeting. As I said, Dr Skidmore compiled this from online reports by the Inspector General's office, but when he tried to get further information from the Inspector General's office the only result was that the online reports were DELINKED by ... someone. Fortunately for him and other researchers, he and Austin Fitts downloaded all of the reports that they had accessed.

But hey! LET'S FOCUS ON RUSSIA!

So sad you think the administration you voted in can't do more than one thing at a time - why'd you vote for them if you think they're so inept? = G

No, I think YOU'RE inept because, clearly, your prefer to focus on stupid things like the made-up Russia-gate instead of focusing on important things like the economy, our debt, our military overreach etc. In other words: What are our interests, and how can we forward them"

These unaccounted-for "adjustments" have been happening all along, in fact, the latest reports that he could access were from 2015. So this was happening in the OBAMA years, and probably in the BUSH years as well.

Why didn't OBAMA address them, if he was such a smarty-pants and so much "for the people"?

HOW THE HELL IS THIS
"MADE UP"???

The text said Flynn would ensure sanctions would be 'ripped up'
He complained that President Obama 'f***** everything up in my nuclear deal with the sanctions'

-Trump-took-oath.html

We focus on Trump and Russia because we WANT HIM GONE. Who cares if we are in massive debt?? Isn't EVERYONE? How does one person or even a group of people BEGIN to hold the entire US government accountable for the actions of the last 40 years?? Can't do anything about that but we can focus on getting rid of the lead turd. Maybe THEN something will change.

Again, you defend Russia's actions by saying focus on something else.
SCREW RUSSIA. Anything we can do to get under their nails is a good thing.

WISHY, what Flynn was doing was implementing a change in policy, a change - you might recall (or not, I doubt you were paying attention)- which Trump SPECIFICALLY called out during his campaign.

THERE IS NOTHING ILLEGAL WITH A NEW ADMINISTRATION CHANGING FOREIGN POLICY.*

There was nothing SECRET or underhanded about it, because it was a campaign promise.

And, I would argue, there is nothing WRONG with it either.

I think our policy towards Russia (and towards most of the world) NEEDS to change, because we have GOT to stop bombing and bullying our way across the globe. Unless, of course, you think we SHOULD unrelentingly oppress the world, in which case ... we're doing a bang-up job of it!

"And it doesn't matter what Trump does either!"
Right??

No, not "everyone", and sure as hell not like WE are because nobody else issues the world reserve currency. There is something in the realm of 10-100x The WORLD'S GDP in debt denominated in dollars. How the hell are we supposed to make good on that?

YEP! Just change the President! THAT'LL fix everything! [/snicker]

In the past 40 years, we've had seven different Presidents ... Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump. Three Dems and four Repubs. Each one has done some good things and some bad things, but NONE of them has apparently gotten real control of this "off the books" spending.

Don't you think that's just a tad more important than ... whatever it is that you're obsessing about Russia? That's why you'll never get above where you are now: Because you think everything is above your pay grade.

*Oh and BTW ... whatever it is that Mueller is holding over Flynn, I think it has to do with Turkey, not Russia,.

Who cares if my daughter grows up in an America that is so bankrupt we're actively going to other world leaders like Putin and begging him for a bailout?

We want Trump gone because he Biggie Sized his McDonalds meal and used Pocohontas in a way that I don't think American Indians would approve of.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

What I hate, THUGR, is hysteria. In this case, YOUR hysteria about Russia. It's just too much like "Iraq WMD ... WMD Iraq...".

Nobody in your little circle has even bothered to present a logical case for what our policy about Russia should be. But any time anyone mentions "Russia" or "Putin", your eyes just kind of roll around in your head and you go into a tizzy-fit.

Where I see the real rub with Russia has nothing to do with whatever is going on inside Russia (not my problem), and certainly not with "hacking" the election (as if that really happened). No, I think our REAL problem with Russia is ....

... well, why bother to tell you? I'm sure you'll just ignore it anyway.

I don't know what Russia and Putin's agenda for us is, but I can damn sure tell it isn't sunshine and roses.

If they want mindless orthodoxy, institutionalized bigotry, and gagged media for US then by gawd I say we focus on Russia and KEEP focusing on Russia until they get squirmy.

The military, the government, healthcare...THEY ARE ALL BROKEN. If they only thing I can do is say "NO RUSSIANS WANTED HERE" then that's what I'm gonna do and I don't give a flying FUCK what you think about it.

DOWN WITH TRUMP, DOWN WITH RUSSIA
DOWN WITH TRUMP, DOWN WITH RUSSIA
DOWN WITH TRUMP, DOWN WITH RUSSIA
