Russia IS actually fighting ISIS. And Russia, Iran, and Syria have regained a lot of territory in Syria because of that.

Meanwhile - since Syria is looking to be too tough a nut to crack - our CIA buddies ISIS are targeting the Philippines;

Thanks for posting those maps kik, I might copy it to the Assad/ISIS collusion thread. ISIS territory is shrinking dramatically in Iraq and Syria to the Iraqi army and the Kurds, backed by US-led coalition airpower. But what these maps show is that there is one front where ISIS territory is holding steady - and even making some gains - and that is versus the Syrian army under Assad. The one exception to this is the historic city and big propaganda prize of Palmyra. ISIS made headlines when they captured it and promptly started destroying ancient artefacts. Russia and Syria launched an offensive to capture it, and then Russia staged a victory concert amongst the ancient ruins:

And then a few months later once the Assad/Russia axis had returned to fighting the rebels in Aleppo, they lost the city again to ISIS

The Palmyra episode fits a pattern of Russia's actions in Syria: publicising its fight against ISIS as much as possible, while actually doing very little. Their ONE reason for being in Syria is to prop up the murderous dictatorship of Assad. "Fighting ISIS" is just how they chosen to sell that intervention, for propaganda purposes.

Not that you would ever get taken in by Russian propaganda, kiki.

Is it one of the many London bridges you've bought off Vladimir Putin? Because if so, no thanks

Britain Hints at Tougher Blow Against Russia: Stripping Tycoons’ Assets

LONDON — As she probes for Russia’s vulnerabilities during a week of deepening crisis, Prime Minister Theresa May does not have to look far. Within a few blocks of No. 10 Downing Street, she could find opulent homes owned by members of President Vladimir V. Putin’s inner circle.
