Yanno, I've been reading bad news for a while, but every now and then you read something that really just kicks the stupid up a notch...
I think this is the nominee for the year.

Wondering if you have any particular ones that stick in your head? Favorite stupid criminal stories?

I'm reminded of the guy who tried to suck gas out of a motor home, only he put the line in the blackwater hold tank...

The last few days we had a local robbery, the perp was kind enough to wear his Probation GPS Ankle Bracelet. Marcus Lewis back in custody fairly quick, by the end of the day.

It's scary what drugs can do to you. And no, I'm not talking about weed...

I've done cocaine 7 times in my life. Managed to say no to it until my 24th birthday, but finally gave in that night for some reason even though it had been around me all the time for 5 or 6 years before then.

I never did anything particularly stupid while on it, but when you're brain is shooting mega doses of serotonin into your system, everything you think sounds like the best idea in the world. I can't even imagine what the more hardcore drugs like Crack and Meth and any of these other drugs made from cooking pharmaceuticals will do to you.

Fortunately for me, I made it a point to never befriend any dealers so it wasn't readily available to me at any time. Even more fortunate that unlike some of my friends who regularly did it, I would crash extremely hard and be useless for a day or two afterward so even though it was pretty much the most amazing feeling in the world I would say no unless I was stupid drunk and didn't have any plans for the weekend, which was pretty rare back in those days.

This guy probably wasn't a genius before he got involved with them, but it might not be a question of intelligence here.

I know that you're as straight edged as they come, JSF, so you couldn't possibly understand.

I'm certainly not advocating anybody use any hard core drugs or condoning this behavior. Just giving a different perspective on the issue.
