Good grief, no shit.

I have never seen such a "botched" investigation in my entire life. The FBI did EVERYTHING it could to put all of the evidence of Hillary wrongdoing permanently out of reach:

Failing to question Hillary under oath.

Failing to pursue an "obstruction of justice" charge against Hillary when it became clear that she permanently wiped her records ("like with a cloth?") AFTER being subpoenaed.

Giving witnesses (Hillary staffers) immunity. Good grief, you don't give WITNESSES immunity.

Allowing staffers to destroy their laptops and phones ... and any possibility of recovering copies or other evidence ... not "like with a cloth?" but more "like with a hammer".

Lynch talking with Bill on the tarmac (for 20 minutes) as an excuse to delegate her prosecutorial authority to someone else, in this case Comey.

Comey shutting down a prosecution when it was not within his authority.

Can you say "COVER UP"?

Sure you can!

Now, journalist Paul Sperry reports that "IG Horowitz has found "reasonable grounds" for believing there has been a violation of federal criminal law in the FBI/DOJ's handling of the Clinton investigation/s and has referred his findings of potential criminal misconduct to Huber for possible criminal prosecution."

IG Horowitz' full report has yet to be made public.

But they had already decided, 2 months before chatting with Hilliary, and before any pretense of Investigation had begun, that they would exonerate Hilliary. So why put forth any effort of the Pretense? This was only to Cover-Up Hilliary's Crimes so she could Win. Once Hilliary won, nobody was going to ask any questions. Further, during this process, any honest FBI personnel found to have Integrity could be rooted out, and dispatched from the FBI for good.

Interesting day for this info, 1 year after Rosenstein appointed Mueller Special Counsel.

Brennan doesn't seem to have many friends outside Libtards, maybe he's vulnerable.
Obviously Obama knew of all this, and he is no longer a sitting POTUS, an example should finally be set.

Now we all know that the Obama/Comey FBI interfered with the US Election, joining the Obama/Brennan CIA (operating on domestic soil) and the Obama/Clapper NSA.

A commentary ...

Quote:

Brennan "Needs Very Good Lawyer" Says DiGenova; "He's Going To Be In Front Of A Grand Jury Shortly"

Veteran D.C. attorney Joe diGenova - who President Trump initially wanted to hire to represent him in the Mueller probe, only to have to step aside due to conflicts - sat down on Fox News on Thursday where he put a bow on what many believe was a high-stakes gamble by various members within the Obama Intelligence Community (IC) and others to infiltrate the Trump campaign and frame Donald Trump with Russiagate.

Key among the participants in this alleged plot is former CIA director John Brennan, whose involvement is thought to have dovetailed with the FBI's recently disclosed "operation Crossfire Hurricane" - the code name given to the agency's earliest counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign. The FBI says the operation was launched following a drunken conversation between a Clinton-linked Australian ambassador and a low-level Trump associate, George Papadopoulos, who may have been set up from the start after being fed information by a professor named Joseph Mifsud, who is currently missing.

When Carlson asked diGenova for an update on recent developments, the former federal prosecutor (and special counsel to boot) said:

* We know that Hillary Clinton was illegally exonerated
* We know that there was a substantial effort to frame the current President of the United States with crimes by infiltrating his campaign and then his administration with spies that the FBI had set upon them
* We have learned that the crimes were committed by the FBI, senior members of the Department of Justice, John Brennan, Mr. Clapper, Mr. Comey, and others associated with the Democratic party
* Donald Trump and his associates committed no crimes

When asked to explain the mechanics of the setup, diGenova tells Carlson that the FBI "purposely sent people into the Trump campaign to plant false information, then forced that information to be forwarded back to CIA and then funneled to the FBI, to be used as false information in FISA applications."

"Everybody involved in that process who knowingly participated committed a crime,"
diGenova added. The lawyer then offered Brennan some legal advice:

Tucker: So why aren't they being held to account?

diGenova: As of today, I understand that a referral for criminal prosecution has been made by Mr. Horowitz to Mr. Huber, who is investigating the FISA leaks, the unmasking, the leaks of the unmasking and everything we described tonight. Criminal referrals have already been made, and I suggest that Mr. Brennan - who loves to make comments about the process, get himself a good lawyer. Not a good writer.

Tucker: Wait, John Brennan the NBC news paid consultant?

diGenova: Yes, NBC News' consultant, the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, the most partisan hack leader of the CIA in history, needs a very very good lawyer.

Tucker: Criminal lawyer?

diGenova: Yes, criminal lawyer - oh yes, he doesn't need a slip-and-fall lawyer, although he's going to slip and fall. He's going to be in front of a grand jury shortly.

Tucker: That's news.

diGenova: Yes, and that's good news.

I am referencing this thread, http://fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=62024, because SIG is posting lies again and more times than not, sources her information that she posts here from zerohedge. She stupidly defends this as a reputable source. Something she does with other unreliable sources. As she continues to do so, I will reference this thread to remind all she posts from this and other corrupted sources. Sources designed to create havoc rather than inform.

Below are the names of those behind zero hedge. Don't miss what I've highlighted in red below. This folks is why comrade troll SIG loves to quote zero hedge.

In addition, Lokey said he faced constant pressure to frame stories in-line with a particular world-view, which he described as “Russia=good. Obama=idiot. Bashar al-Assad=benevolent leader. John Kerry=dunce. Vladmir Putin=greatest leader in the history of statecraft.”

All of this matches SIG's playbook here and Putin's globally; exactly. http://fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=62024

The men behind zero hedge

Colin Lokey, a 32-year-old former Seeking Alpha director

Daniel Ivandjiiski, a 37-year-old Bulgarian-born former hedge fund employee who was barred for insider trading in 2008

Tim Backshall, a 45-year-old credit derivatives strategist
Despite its populist tone, Lokey told Bloomberg he recently left Zero Hedge because he didn’t see eye-to-eye with the others when it came to editorial vision.

“Zero Hedge ceased to serve that public service years ago,” Lokey said. “They care what generates page views. Clicks. Money.”

Lokey claims Zero Hedge’s focus on traffic and revenue is hypocritical, but Ivandjiiski sees things differently.

Finally, Zero Hedge addressed the accusations of systematic bias in its content.

“We are certainly ok with being the object of other’s conspiracy theories, in this case completely false ones since we have never been in contact with anyone in Russia, or the US, or any government for that matter,” Zero Hedge says.

The site claims it has never accepted a dime of funding outside of advertising revenue and that Lokey was never pressured about how to frame his articles or editorialized.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/zero-hedge-unmasked-theres-more-1427301
65.html

According to the Bloomberg article, three men have been churning out all of the content at Zero Hedge, using the joint pseudonym “Tyler Durden” from the Brad Pitt film “Fight Club.” The 1999 cult film, according to Rolling Stone, is “about being young, male and powerless against the pacifying drug of consumerism. It’s about solitude, despair and bottled-up rage.” That ethos is frequently on display at Zero Hedge.

The three “Tyler Durdens” outed by Bloomberg reporters are Colin Lokey, who has now left Zero Hedge in a fit of pique and is responsible for handing over the internal chat sessions from Zero Hedge on traffic-building strategies and other matters. Bloomberg says “the other two men are Daniel Ivandjiiski, 37, the Bulgarian-born former analyst long reputed to be behind the site, and Tim Backshall, 45, a well-known credit derivatives strategist.”

The article notes that “Ivandjiiski has a multimillion-dollar mansion in Mahwah, N.J., and Backshall lives in a plush San Francisco suburb,” suggesting these are “not exactly reflections” of the anti-capitalism reflected in the moniker “Tyler Durden.”

I wanted to say what took them so long. But these were quite stalwart obfuscators and obstructionists, even scrambling after Election - because they never planned to Cover-Up after they won, Hilliary wasn't going to allow questions.

Meanwhile, the IG's report was expected to be released "in May".
Not too many days left in the month, if it's to be released according to expectations.

OTOH, possibly new material has come to light, delaying the IG report. It's funny how [some] people who are so focused on the Mueller investigation tend to forget about this potential Sword of Damocles hanging over the FBI/ CIA/ DOJ.

Call me crazy, but this might be Trump's *ehrm*... trump card.

Remember how GWB used the lies that he was going to put our Social Security benefits directly in our hands and he was going to make an ammendment to the Constitution to ban gay marriage right before he got re-elected?

No matter how bad things might possibly get, do you really think that Trump wouldn't win in a landslide against Democrats if Hillary was actually locked up before November 2020?

Oh, I read somewhere that the spying began in April, before Papadoupulos ever drunkenly insinuated to Australian Ambassador [and Clinton Foundation illegal money-channeler] Downer that Russians had "dirt" on Hillary.

If THAT wasn't what started the spying ... what did??? The implication is that Downer didn't just "happen" to meet Papadoupulos, he was actually tasked with entrapping him.

Obama and Brennan started the spying, Brennan ran the Op.

Almost each day brings forth an earlier date that they started the spying, well before Downer. This has been teeth-pulling for months.
I'm waiting to see how early the beginning was, we'll likely need to wait until the FBI/DoJ Obstructions stop and the documents/evidence are revealed. Until then, honest Citizens are poking around in the dark.

Do you think this fact is being buried by the MSM? - JSF

Who needs to think about it? The MSM just regurgitates what the deep state tells it to.

Now here's another "buried" MSM story. As a comment, one of the things that I have wondered about is the scattershot way that people have been resigning/ fired/ demoted in the DOJ and FBI. The number of people ... if you add them all up ... who have disappeared from the employee roster is truly astounding.

IF the MSM wants to do a real investigative piece, they would be sniffing up and down the official DOJ and FBI org charts to see "who reported to whom". It's a simple matter of record. And then, one simply looks for the missing testimony. But of course, such an obvious piece of inquiry seems to be beyond them.

Quote:

FBI Agent In Charge Of "Russiagate" Operation And Clinton Email "Matter" To Testify Tuesday

FBI Counterintelligence chief, Bill Priestap, will sit down for a closed-door session with lawmakers on Tuesday, according to John Solomon of The Hill.

Priestap will be answering questions about the Hillary Clinton email case as well as the counterintelligence operation on the Trump campaign - both of which he oversaw. Priestap was the direct supervisor of Peter Strzok - the FBI agent whose anti-Trump / pro-Clinton bias was revealed after 50,000 text messages to his FBI-attorney mistress, Lisa Page, were discovered by the DOJ's Inspector General, Michael Horowitz.

All accounts say that Priestap is a cooperating witness. In other words, if there's one person who can confirm that the FBI counterintelligence operation on the Trump campaign was politically motivated - or that malfeasance occurred during the process, it's Bill Priestap

... When you understand how central E.W. “Bill” Priestap was to the entire 2016/2017 ‘Russian Conspiracy Operation‘, the absence of his name, amid all others, created a curiosity... E.W. “Bill” Priestap is the head of the FBI Counterintelligence operation. He was FBI Agent Peter Strozk’s direct boss. If anyone in congress really wanted to know if the FBI paid for the Christopher Steele Dossier, Bill Priestap is the guy who would know everything about everything.

... Everyone around Bill Priestap, above and below, were caught inside the investigative net.

Above him: James Comey, Andrew McCabe and James Baker.

Below him: Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Jim Rybicki, Trisha Beth Anderson and Mike Kortan.

Parallel to Priestap in main justice his peer John P Carlin resigned, Sally Yates fired, Mary McCord quit, Bruce Ohr was busted twice, and most recently Dave Laufman resigned.

With all of that in mind, there is essentially no-way the participating members inside the small group can escape their accountability with Mr. Bill Priestap cooperating with the investigative authorities.

Who ARE these idiots on MSNBC? ... http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?bid=18&tid=62424&p=2
but I will respond to the CONTENT of what they're saying here.

Their contention is that Trump is a hypocrite because he bagged on Hillary for using a private SECRET server while Sec State, which might have compromised state secrets. Hillary's reason for using a private server was that it was "too inconvenient". Meanwhile, TRUMP uses a private phone for his tweets which has a camera and speaker attached (possibly security breach) and doesn't change it out every week ... per security protocol ... for the same reason: it's too inconvenient.

They conveniently "forget" that if that's ALL that Hillary did with that private secret server, it might have been a security breach but at least the data would have been recoverable, and it could have been examined to see what kind of security impact it might have had. Instead, Hillary had 33,000 emails permanently erased ... emails selected AT HER DISCRETION, emails which she erased AFTER she was subpoenaed for them. CASE LAW establishes that government business done on non-government devices is STILL subject to FOIA. The issue is not just "security", it is also TRANSPARENCY. Whereas Trump's phone may represent a security breach, the presence of the phone is well-known to his security team, and its contents are under constant review.

The impression is that Hillary WAS HIDING SOMETHING. One strong possibility is that she was hiding PAY TO PLAY, using her office as Scy State to wrest donations for the "Clinton Foundation" ... donations which she and Bill used for private gain.

The fact that these clowns on MSNBC would conflate one issue with another by misleadingly leaving our large parts of Hillary's narrative is just proof that they're deliberately lying, acting as DNC operatives to push the deep state's agenda.

If you think I've beaten this to death by being too detailed, you're right. I just wanted to make the step-by-step connections AND distinctions for you, and be absolutely, pellucidly, and inescapably clear how they're ... what's that word? ... oh yes ... LYING.

How does that happen exactly? What are the mechanics? Is there a Deep State board of Directors that decides what the MSM should publish, or is it more of Deep State Communications Director and they tell... who exactly? Maybe... are there also a Deep State liaison officers posted at every MSM outlet and they receive their directives and then they tell...? They tell the editors what to tell all of the writers what to write and they all just type out the directives like little robots? Is that by phone or email or carrier pigeon? I joke because just the logistics of the thing you so casually toss off is so immense as to be pretty obviously impossible. Only a true tin foiler would come even close to believing it and to do so they would have to ignore some pretty Deep Logic. But I am curious how you think it's carried out, this, "the MSM just regurgitates what the deep state tells it to" happens.

Funny thing is... after me saying all that... there actually is a Deep State controlling the MSM, but not the one you think of. And it is....! Not so fast! Not until you let me know how your version works.

According to foreign reporters and editors (I can provide links later, just busy right now), they have admitted to being on the CIA payroll. At one time, the CIA had a program of disinformation directly into the USA media.

The names and mechanics don't come out until years or decades later. But if you think this is past and done, you're wrong. The media doesn't do REAL investigation, it (for the most part) either faithfully transcribes the official narrative (when the deep state is in control of the official narrative) or works with selected "leakers" who "leak" the deep state's version. That is how Judith Miller (NYT) got the Iraq WMD story so terribly, terribly wrong- she though she had the "inside track" because someone was feeding her info. Also, the CIA is STILL planting false stories into foreign press. And they work hand-in-glove with MI6, which floats/ creates disinformation (eg Iraq's WMD being a "slam dunk") which is used in the USA MSM.

Your faith in corporate media is touching, but misguided. Our corporate press is no more honest than any government-funded operation. Do you really think big transnational media corporations have YOUR interests at heart??

Quote:

THE CIA AND THE MEDIA
How Americas Most Powerful News Media Worked Hand in Glove with the Central Intelligence Agency and Why the Church Committee Covered It Up

... Alsop is one of more than 400 American journalists who in the past twenty-five years have secretly carried out assignments for the Central Intelligence Agency, according to documents on file at CIA headquarters. Some of these journalists’ relationships with the Agency were tacit; some were explicit. There was cooperation, accommodation and overlap. Journalists provided a full range of clandestine services—from simple intelligence gathering to serving as go-betweens with spies in Communist countries. Reporters shared their notebooks with the CIA. Editors shared their staffs. Some of the journalists were Pulitzer Prize winners, distinguished reporters who considered themselves ambassadors without-portfolio for their country. Most were less exalted: foreign correspondents who found that their association with the Agency helped their work; stringers and freelancers who were as interested in the derring-do of the spy business as in filing articles; and, the smallest category, full-time CIA employees masquerading as journalists abroad....

Caveat Emptor: MSNBC and CNN Use CIA Apologists for False Commentary
MSNBC prides itself for progressive reporting on national security issues but continues to use apologists for the Central Intelligence Agency in reporting on key intelligence issues. The network’s reliance on former deputy director of the CIA John McLaughlin is an excellent example of the skewed and tailored information that it offers to viewers on matters dealing with CIA. McLaughlin, a former colleague of mine at the CIA who I remember as an amateur magician, regularly pulls the wool over the eyes of such MSNBC veterans as Andrea Mitchell.Brennan is now a commentator on CNN.

Brennan is now also on the payroll of CNN.

Former Newspaper Editor Who Exposed CIA Found Dead
Dr Udo Ulfkotte, the former German newspaper editor whose bestselling book exposed how the CIA controls German media, has been found dead. He was 56.

Ulfkotte was an editor at Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of the largest newspapers in Germany, when he published Bought Journalists, the bestselling book that cost him his job and perhaps his life.

German media, who were banned from reporting on his work in recent years, are reporting he died of “heart failure”.

None of it form ZH, all of it from sources that YOU (as a liberal) would find credible. That is, if you bothered to read them, which I doubt you did because, yanno, cognitive dissonance.

Quote:

There are instances where CIA payroll were directly on MSM staff. The reason why that was (supposedly) ended was the CIA is "supposed" to be about foreign intelligence, and not operate on USA soil. I'm not sure that the program (called Operation Mockingbird by some) really ended, but what HAS been demonstrated is that they either plant stories in the foreign press, or hire them once they're "retired" so they can put the deep-state spin on it directly. The interesting thing is, I remember when the CIA got its hand publicly smacked for interfering in the USA press, and they had to promise that (just like the USA military) they would only operate of foreign soil. I'll see if I can dredge up any info on that event. And, of course, they provide "news" and "leaks" to the compliant press.

The media doesn't do REAL investigation, it (for the most part) either faithfully transcribes the official narrative (when the deep state is in control of the official narrative) or works with selected "leakers" who "leak" the deep state's version. - SIGNY

Yeah, riiiight. No investigation. Thousands of journalists waiting to be told what to print, that makes *sense.* - GSTRING

Yes, that's correct. Real investigation takes a lot of money. It's far cheaper and easier to plant "reporters" in a press briefing room and have them take notes, or get anonymous tips from "inside", than it is to file endless FIOA requests or go to specific locations and gather the news directly. Not only does that allow the deep state to control the spin, it also allows them to select the TOPICS that are discussed. I've mentioned this many times: Quite often, when things aren't going to plan, a formerly hot topic suddenly drops out of sight. That's not a natural consequence of a "news cycle" driven by an attention-deficit audience; the whole RUSSIA!! RUSSIA!! RUSSIA!! narrative proves that you can carry a topic through endless news cycles with breathless hype and bullshit.

Quote:

That is how Judith Miller (NYT) got the Iraq WMD story so terribly, terribly wrong- she though she had the "inside track" because someone was feeding her info. Also, the CIA is STILL planting false stories into foreign press. And they work hand-in-glove with MI6, which floats/ creates disinformation (eg Iraq's WMD being a "slam dunk") which is used in the USA MSM.- SIGNY

Sure, it does happen, but not anywhere near how often you say. You want to taint entire decades and thousands and thousands of true stories and an entire profession with a few examples. Your head is firmly up your deep state.- GSTRING

I've shown MANY examples... for example, how even SECOND recognizes that after the Korean War, every "war" that we got into since then was preceded by a torrent of bullshit spewed by the MSM. Economic news... mostly bullshit. Foreign affairs ... mostly bullshit.

Quote:

Your faith in corporate media is touching, but misguided. Our corporate press is no more honest than any government-funded operation. Do you really think big transnational media corporations have YOUR interests at heart?? - SIGNY

Yes! Of course they do! But not like you think. Consumers are the true Deep State when it comes to MSM. Some day I'll explain it to you - I'm just a bit busy right now.- GSTRING

And MORE bullshit.

Sig's been told many times G, suggesting a deep state conspiracy is the problem is a cover. It allows them to justify attacking established democratic institutions. They attempt to discredit them in order to wrench power away from the people. It also helps them to dismiss any reports they are up to no good. They blame the deep state conspiracy for fabricating said offences. Trump is the poster boy for this type of rhetoric.

Sig is a troll. This is why she keeps up this façade. She believes some here are to stupid to understand what she is up to. She is right, but we know who the other trolls are. And that collectivly they are dumper than a box of rocks. Hey Sig,

OK, THUGR - like what? Do I attack the Constitution? The democratic vote? The Office of the Presidency? The free press? The military?

Or am I attacking the corruption of these institutions by the moneyed elite and their factotums, who must necessarily work in secret because they don't represent the wishes and interests of the people?

Oh bullshit, THUGR. What have I complained about? People being surveilled without a warrant, trampling their Constitutional right against unreasonable search and seizure? Immigrants breaking OUR laws by sneaking in illegally? Politicians beholden to the elite? Private banks taking over the function of currency creation? Endless foreign wars NOT for our benefit? Uneven application of the "rule of law"? Privilege, wealth, and power extended to synthetic people (corporations) far beyond anything accessible to real people?

So, where am I "attacking" our "democratic institutions"?

I think you're vastly confused between "democratic institutions" and "elite privilege".

I don't hear you complaining when our Constitutional rights are violated or the will of the people is subverted, NOPE! What REALLY gets your goat is when the wealthy and their secret servants are criticized. You've got your nose stuck so far up the elite's butt you've pretty much disappeared into their collective anus.

The reality is, I'm a better democrat than you are because you're just an authoritarian suckup.

U.S. Army Veteran Tried to Spy for China, Officials Say

On Saturday, Mr. Hansen was arrested in Seattle and charged with attempted espionage, in what appears to be another high-profile mole hunt by F.B.I. investigators intent on uncovering Chinese spying against the United States.

A COUPLE? I

1) Linked three articles

2) Referred to many more instances (eg. every "intervention" we openly engaged in since the Korean war, including Vietnam, Panama, Grenada, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya) and the ones we did less openly (Sudan, Pakistan, Yemen, Ukraine, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and indeed most of South and Central America over the past 60 years)

3) Posted a video of a former "chief propagandist" and Time Editor

4) Cited Brennan and Richard Stengel as "deep state" officers who are subsequently welcomed into the media, and there are plenty more examples ...

You have not engaged in specifically discussing even ONE of these examples, much less refuting any of them.

The person who's throwing "cheap smoke bombs" is YOU, my friend. You just did, with that "cheap smoke bomb" smoke bomb. But that's what liars do: They accuse others of what they themselves do.

You CAN engage in the discussion. Or you can STFU, which would be another good alternative. Personally, I think I provided more than enough references to keep you busy for a while (if you intend to learn about the topic), and any further information from me would be a waste of my time (You would probably reject anything else I posted anyway) and a distraction from the topic of the thread, so until you come up with something OTHER THAN lies and snark, I think the discussion has reached it's end.

And Priestap is throwing Strzok under the bus

Priestap: FBI's Strzok Played "More Central Role Than Previously Known" In Clinton, Russia Probes

"Below not helpful," Strzok wrote. "Certainly the WH is going to do whatever it wants, but there is a line they need to hold with regard to the appearance of non-interference."

Yes, Peter [Strzok], "appearances" count! Just comparing the texts between Strzok and Page, they seem to have intended to lay a "paper trail" to cover up WH [Obama] involvement.
