I think this needs its own thread. SIG pulls most of her information that she posts here from this blog and stupidly defends it as a reputable source. As she continues to do so I will regenerate this thread to remind all it is a corrupted blog designed to create havoc rather than informing.

Below are the names of those behind zero hedge. Don't miss what I've highlighted in red below. This folks is why comrade troll SIG loves to quote zero hedge.

In addition, Lokey said he faced constant pressure to frame stories in-line with a particular world-view, which he described as “Russia=good. Obama=idiot. Bashar al-Assad=benevolent leader. John Kerry=dunce. Vladmir Putin=greatest leader in the history of statecraft.”

All of this matches SIG's playbook here and Putin's globally; exactly.

The men behind zero hedge

Colin Lokey, a 32-year-old former Seeking Alpha director

Daniel Ivandjiiski, a 37-year-old Bulgarian-born former hedge fund employee who was barred for insider trading in 2008

Tim Backshall, a 45-year-old credit derivatives strategist
Despite its populist tone, Lokey told Bloomberg he recently left Zero Hedge because he didn’t see eye-to-eye with the others when it came to editorial vision.

“Zero Hedge ceased to serve that public service years ago,” Lokey said. “They care what generates page views. Clicks. Money.”

Lokey claims Zero Hedge’s focus on traffic and revenue is hypocritical, but Ivandjiiski sees things differently.

Finally, Zero Hedge addressed the accusations of systematic bias in its content.

“We are certainly ok with being the object of other’s conspiracy theories, in this case completely false ones since we have never been in contact with anyone in Russia, or the US, or any government for that matter,” Zero Hedge says.

The site claims it has never accepted a dime of funding outside of advertising revenue and that Lokey was never pressured about how to frame his articles or editorialized.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/zero-hedge-unmasked-theres-more-1427301

According to the Bloomberg article, three men have been churning out all of the content at Zero Hedge, using the joint pseudonym “Tyler Durden” from the Brad Pitt film “Fight Club.” The 1999 cult film, according to Rolling Stone, is “about being young, male and powerless against the pacifying drug of consumerism. It’s about solitude, despair and bottled-up rage.” That ethos is frequently on display at Zero Hedge.

The three “Tyler Durdens” outed by Bloomberg reporters are Colin Lokey, who has now left Zero Hedge in a fit of pique and is responsible for handing over the internal chat sessions from Zero Hedge on traffic-building strategies and other matters. Bloomberg says “the other two men are Daniel Ivandjiiski, 37, the Bulgarian-born former analyst long reputed to be behind the site, and Tim Backshall, 45, a well-known credit derivatives strategist.”

The article notes that “Ivandjiiski has a multimillion-dollar mansion in Mahwah, N.J., and Backshall lives in a plush San Francisco suburb,” suggesting these are “not exactly reflections” of the anti-capitalism reflected in the moniker “Tyler Durden.”

THUGR, do you really think that I care about "who" ZH is, or that I hadn't read the article in Bloomberg already??

As I have posted many times in the past, you have to be careful of ZH: they tend to have an apocalyptic bent to their articles ... it's either the end of the dollar, or the end of the free market as we know it, or the end of SOMETHING! That is why I have always recommended having your shitscreen fully in place, before wading into the stream, and people who've read my posts will probably remember me posting that several times. But then, that's what I would recommend about any .... ANY ... new media.

So, let's go look at YOUR "unbiased" sources.

WHO OWNS NEW YORK TIMES?
The largest single stock holder is Carlos "Slim" Helu, the Mexican telecom multi-billionaire. I'm sure he has the USA's interests at heart.

WHO OWNS FOX and the WSJ?
Rupert Murdoch, Australian-born. Like HE cares about the USA!

WHO OWNS THE WASHINGTON POST?
Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, a transnational corporation who specializes in selling Chinese junk to American markets. HIS primary interests are expanding his business internationally, and international copyright protections for content.

WHO OWNS COMCAST? (And, what does COMCAST own?)
COMCAST is the world's largest media provider (by revenue). Not only is it a broadband provider, it owns NBC, MSNBC, Telemundo, TWC, and Universal (and entertainment parks in the USA, Japan, China and elsewhere.) It has been criticized for as having monopolies in a large number of markets, not honoring net neutrality, poor customer satisfaction etc.

*****

I only pass on the credible, fact-based ZH articles that I've vetted thru other sources. I simply link to ZH because - as an aggregator- it tends to have multiple links in one post, as opposed to me linking each source independently. I assume that you can vet the information yourself, if you're given a link. And if you can't, or won't, then that's on you, not on ZH.

Your REAL beef isn't with whether or not the articles that I link are factual, or backed by evidence, or are reported by "credible" sources. Your REAL beef is the SELECTION of articles. Basically, you simply don't like the content because it isn't mainstream, it tends to be critical, and it addresses issues that the MSM won't touch.

Dood, you can get mainstream mush anywhere. I know that I do: I listen to NPR when I'm cooking, an 'all news" channel when I'm driving, and I check in with Reuters and the BBC every day. What I post is fact-based. But it is NOT in the mainstream. Still, it's real news, and sometimes its IMPORTANT news .... news that the government and the compliant media may not want you to know.

So if you want to shut your eyes and plug your ears to the broad spectrum of news out there, be my guest, but don't expect me to limit myself because of you.

You think incorrectly, as many do, that you are arguing with me here on this site. These posts are all over Google. All anyone has to do is search firefly in any form and there you are SIGNYM. Always arguing with myself and others. Always looking stupid. Those who stumble upon these posts, perhaps even sharing them with others, are our judges.

Here you just admitted that a source of yours, a primary source of the information you post here, is as you described above. That's very telling, thats very sad. It is in fact why this thread was created. To expose your source as a corrupt blog that has a pro Russia havoc creating agenda. This was admitted to by one of the three creators of this blog so your opinion concerning that is mute. I've quoted him in the opening post of this thread. Even you admit here the blog is a haven for conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theories produce hypotheses that contradict the prevailing understanding of history and simple facts. Again, very telling, very sad. Evidence enough for the reader I should think that what you post is biased and not to be believed.

What I do is put a face on peoples agendas SIG. I've put a face on yours. Russian commie troll. I think you loose. I think you always loose.

Now that's funny. Wow, to suggest yours is an inadequate response to my and SIG's discussion would be an understatement. It lacks any mental or intellectual trimmings. No, The PRIMARY source of information is where ZH gets ITS information. If you look at the ZH links you will see that they link to the WSJ, the Straits Times, Al Jazeera, al Masdar, Reuters, the BBC, CNN, RT, Haaretz (Israel), Xinhua (China), the Guardian .... many, many more newspapers than I could scan in 24 hours. That's the beauty of news aggregators! I don't HAVE to scan all the worlds' media all of the time! ZH does it for me! But, I don't have to believe everything I read, either, and I can compare their selection to a few standard websites or broadcasts, which (btw) I do.

Since you're too lazy, too stupid, or too propagandized to that kind of analysis yourself, you just give your judgment over to somebody else, and let them do your thinking for you.

You gotta love this shit. Are you really this thick SIG? Let's take it from the top shall we.

Zero Hedge is an English-language financial blog that aggregates news and presents editorial opinions from original and outside sources. The news portion of the site is written by a group of editors who collectively write under the pseudonym Tyler Durden (a character from the novel and film Fight Club)

Aggregate: a material or structure formed from a loosely compacted mass of fragments or particles.

Blog: a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group that is written in an informal or conversational style. In this case SIG the blog is structured to favor Russia in order to spread Russian propaganda and havoc. As I've shown earlier in this thread, this was collaborated by one of it's creators. It can in no way to be considered factual, or be relied upon to convey accurate information, yet it is your number one source here in this threads.

And... so what....???

And.... so what???

ZH quotes their sources extensively, and provides LINKS to the original information. If you think that they have edited and presented the original information unfairly, all you have to do is CLICK ON THE LINK AND READ THE ORIGINAL IN FULL.

I mean.... how hard can that be?? Too hard for you??

Yes, they editorialize. Sometimes, their analysis points out connections I haven't seen before. Usually, I skip over entire pages of headlines because it's just so much blah-blah-blah. Yanno, like MOST new outlets! Typically, I'm following a specific storyline ... like the brewing war between Saudi Arabia + Israel against Lebanon + Iran.

Do you think I just swallow whole whatever ZH spits out? Sorry, that's YOUR MO, not mine.

ZH, like ALL news outlets, has a bias. If you read enough from different sources, eventually you suss out the spin of each source. That way, you can home in on the truth.

She is desperate to keep it as a source. It's as easy as cut and paste all the lies and disinformation she wants. The stories are already aggregated to favor Russias' perspective. Its pro Russian spin gives sig her talking points as Putin wants them aired.

I remember G going at it with her as well about sourcing. He dealt with the same thing I did. Sig is a troll so facts don't matter. It's way to oblivious now with her posts over the last couple of years. She gets caught dead to rights constantly and still she trolls on.
