I was watching a good TV Show, a rare experience, when ABC interrupted for more fawning over their favorite R-coded Libtard.

Some highlights:
I keep forgetting that he graduated the Naval Academy at the absolute bottom of his Class, despite having an Admiral father.

No mention of his accomplishment of being the only American in all of history to single-handed fatally damage, destroy and Decommission an entire Aircraft Carrier.

Such a complete failure all his life, but this can be accredited to his severe bout of Libtardism.

The worst self-claimed Republican has died. May he open his eyes soon.

Now so many Patriotic American Veterans can have a far less despising animosity towards GOP members. So many have felt stabbed in the back with every sighting of McCain, he has been a nonstop thorn in the side of Patriotic Veterans for so long.

Geez.
Such a nonstop parade of MSM Libtards I have been able to avoid until now, forced to suffer these fools while waiting for a worthwhile airing of a show.

Although every single other channel has enough sense to not disrupt their scheduled programming, this is the only network with scheduled programming that is interesting.

And now they are into another hour of this crap.

What sappy bastards. You'd think their Hero Hitler or Stalin or Mussolini or Lenin had expired.

I only recognize the names of these Colossal Morons from their historic milestones of the most insipid of comments of this century.

Wednesday marks the 10th anniversary of John McCain unveiling Sarah Palin, a say-anything, gun-toting political neophyte, as his running mate in the 2008 presidential election. It delivered a short-term boost in the polls. But it also opened the Pandora’s box of populism.

“I don’t think he could have known it at the time but he took a disease that was running through the Republican party – anti-intellectualism, disrespect for facts – and he put it right at the center of the party,” said David Brooks.

McCain criticized Obama for associating with the 1960s radical William Ayers, claiming: “Mr Obama’s political career was launched in Mr Ayers’ living room.” McCain had spent the week “trying to portray Senator Barack Obama as a friend of terrorists who would drive the country into bankruptcy”, running campaign ads that hammered Obama as a “liar”.

Alaska governor Palin, nominee for vice-president, told the Republican convention: “I love those hockey moms. You know, they say the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick.” Her gaffes were quaint by Trumpian standards, but she had little grasp of policy, accused Obama of “palling around with terrorists” and paved the way for a grievance-fueled, celebrity-driven politics, later appearing in a reality TV show and as a pundit on Fox News.

McCain came to realize that Palin was a terrible mistake. In the HBO documentary, filmed as he was dying from brain cancer at his ranch in Sedona, Arizona, he made that confession.

Jeff Flake, McCain’s Republican colleague from Arizona, told the Guardian: “I don’t know if it would have made the difference in that election but the Palinization of politics kind of started there. It hasn’t been the best for the Republican party, I will say, but I don’t think he could have known. She was more a symptom of it than anything else.”

Subsequent years brought a toxic mix of cultural and economic resentment. What had seemed angry but marginal voices at those McCain campaign events moved center stage in the Republican party and found an unlikely tuning fork in a New York billionaire and reality TV star.

Future historians seeking to understand the man and his time will surely revisit that night in Dayton, when McCain forced a smile and introduced “the next vice-president of the United States, Governor Sarah Palin of the great state of Alaska”. They will consider what it foretold, and ponder why he opened the door to demagoguery in America.

(3) And HEY!! I AGREED with McCain! Some people [that's you, THUGR] apparently can't even take "yes" for an answer!!

It shouldn't be too hard to find my posts from that time. That was a decision I had to think about. If Palin had been at the top of the ticket, I certainly would have voted GOP for the only time since 1984. Similar to 2012, when I would have voted for Ryan if he had the top of the ticket.
I seem to recall recently noticing some posts from Thuggri from that time - but they may have been only viewed as quotes when others replied to him/her, the original posts might have all been deleted/removed from the threads I was looking at.

What I remember about McCain is that there was never a war that he didn't like. I don't recall him voting or speaking out against ANY war.

On the contrary, wherever McCain went abroad, civil war or destabilization was sure to follow. Kosovo, Georgia, Ukraine ... it was so consistent that we got to calling McCain "storm crow" and every time he went and visited some hapless nation we'd start taking bets on when violence would break out. McCain must have had an "in" with the CIA, because he sure seemed to be the public face for their "destabilization" events, particularly in Europe.

What I find so annoying is that all of the so-called "antifa" supporters here on this board who are so defensive of McCain's "legacy" seem to forget that McCain was a great supporter of Nazis in Ukraine. And no, I don't mean people who liberals here CHOOSE to (erroneously) call "Nazis", I mean real dyed-in-the-wool Nazis whose political lineage harkens back to Stepan Bandera, famous Ukrainian Nazi.

Conservatives don't like McRINO because he is the opposite of a conservative.
I will not vote for him. This is almost as bad as 1976.
I will have to get my sample ballot early and check into all the choices.
Remember, if a 3rd party gets a certain percentage of the vote, they start to get campaign funding and other election benefits during the next election cycle.
If the Republican party refuses to produce an acceptable candidate, it would seem that it is time to vote for a conservative or libertarian party candidate.

John McCain Went To Ukraine And Stood On Stage With A Man Accused Of Being An Anti-Semitic Neo-Nazi

If you want a good picture of how complicated the situation in Ukraine is, look no further than Senator John McCain's recent trip to Kyiv.

You see, while the former presidential hopeful's weekend trip was full of pro-Europe sound bites — "Ukraine will make Europe better and Europe will make Ukraine better," he told a crowd in Kyiv's central Maidan square on Saturday— and warnings of stern reactions from the U.S. should Ukraine use violence against the protesters, there's another detail to it that might cause McCain fans at home some concern.

As the U.K.'s Channel 4 news points out, McCain was repeatedly photographed with Oleh Tyahnybok, the leader of the right wing nationalist party Svoboda...

As Max Fisher of the Washington Post has noted, the situation in Ukraine is amplified by numerous ethnic and linguistic issues that tie into a not-always-pretty history of nationalism and subjugation. In the past, McCain has sometimes revealed a simplistic, Cold War viewpoint of Russia. You have to wonder if, by going to Ukraine and standing on stage with a man accused of being an anti-Semitic neo-Nazi, he may have shown that trait again.

raine-2013-12

Now, about Svoboda and Tyahnybok

Quote:

The Dark Side of the Ukraine Revolt

While most of the Western media describe the current crisis in Ukraine as a confrontation between authoritarianism and democracy, many of the shock troops who have manned barricades in Kiev and the western city of Lviv these past months represent a dark page in the country’s history and have little interest in either democracy or the liberalism of Western Europe and the United States.

“You’d never know from most of the reporting that far-right nationalists and fascists have been at the heart of the protests and attacks on government buildings,” reports Seumas Milne of the British Guardian. The most prominent of the groups has been the ultra-right-wing Svoboda or “Freedom” Party ...

Svoboda—which currently has thirty-six deputies in the 450-member Ukrainian parliament—began life in the mid-1990s as the Social National Party of the Ukraine, but its roots lie in World War II, when Ukrainian nationalists and Nazis found common ground in the ideology of anti-communism and anti-Semitism ...

Tyahnybok is an anti-Semite who says “organized Jewry” controls the Ukraine’s media and government, and is planning “genocide” against Christians. He has turned Svoboda into the fourth-largest party in the country, and, this past December, US Senator John McCain shared a platform and an embrace with Tyahnybok at a rally in Kiev.

https://www.thenation.com/article/dark-side-ukraine-revolt/

Now, sometimes political parties outgrow their roots and their leaders change positions, but up until the point when I stopped following him, Tyahnybok was still decidedly Nazi.

Fist of all sig you sick bitch. McCain was in the Ukraine and most likely didn't have a clue as to who the man was, and what if anything his affiliations were to Nazis.

Most of those he met with were more than likely shady characters. McCain's goal was to halt the dictator Putin and the Russians.

And I quote the article, "If you want a good picture of how complicated the situation in Ukraine is, look no further than Senator John McCain's recent trip to Kyiv. "

Regardless of anything else, I know for a fact that in 2008 the last thing in the world that T was calling McCain was a "hero". I'll bet Auraptor probably did, but not T.

That's the problem with being as hypocritical as the modern Left is today. You force yourself to have an extremely short term memory to make things like this work out.

Fist [sic] of all sig you sick bitch. McCain was in the Ukraine and most likely didn't have a clue as to who the man was, and what if anything his affiliations were to Nazis. Most of those he met with were more than likely shady characters. McCain's goal was to halt the dictator Putin and the Russians.
THEN MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE DONE HIS DUE DILIGENCE AND MADE SURE THAT HE WASN'T PROMOTING SOMETHING AS BAD AS PUTIN, IF NOT WORSE.

Either he was a full retread ... like you ... or he was pro-Nazi. You can't have both.

My god, you're one "low-information" poster with equally low standards for your "heroes"! If I could find out in LA who this person was, and I don't even have "staffers" to do my research for me or any sort of security clearance, then don't you think McCain should have known/ already DID know? But it was the same wherever he went: Buddying up to tyrants, nazis and terrorists.

SECOND, apparently you don't know how to use the 'quote" function properly because IF YOU DID then the words you quoted would have been in quote format.

I've asked you a couple of times already to use the "quote" format when you're quoting someone because it's very hard to tell when you're posting your words or kiping someone else's. I guess clarity doesn't mean much to you because you simply can't be bothered. But then, with all of the snakes crawling around in your head, clarity is something you probably fear.

Although I concede that second is not adept at interwebs syntax, I believe that is a quote from me in Feb 2008 (before Palin was selected).
I am not in Texas or Arizona. McRINO was on the national ballot in 2008.
IIRC the ballot in 2000 had 22 different candidates and Parties solely for the race for President. IIRC each Election since then has had both Conservatives and Libertarians on my ballot.

I just go off the assumption that unless Second is making a personal insult to somebody here or reminding us of how successful and awesome he is then everything else he posts here is somebody else's words.

Most of the time when you click one of his links everything that he put in the post that wasn't in one of the above categories was from the link word for word even though it wasn't quoted.

My heart bleeds for those long sufferers finally getting that relief. That is not sarcasm.

I recall when Dale Earnhardt bit it, and I knew where to go for free food and parties - over 2 weeks of free food and drinks (and easy women). Food in my fridge went to waste, since I didn't know he would kill himself when I last went shopping.
I wonder if the same is happening now - it is the loose Liberal bimbos who were his fans, but Conservative women who rightly despised him.

I just noticed that 1984 was the only Election that I voted GOP.

Just to affirm, I don't see any word that I would use differently today, 10 1/2 years later. Other that Palin throwing a wrench in, forcing me to carefully and in-depth review my decision. IIRC I may have been less ridiculing of the GOP after Palin was on the ticket, just in case others considered Voting for her.

Did you ever notice you have a garbage can full of grievances against your betters? That explains EVERYTHING about you. There is article about that: Two funerals and a wedding - The shunning of Donald Trump. It is about why fucked-up-in-the-head people see Trump as their Savior. They have been shunned for years by their betters, as has Trump, most recently when he was told to stay away from McCain's funeral.

Exactly like Trump's enormous ass. I look forward to many more years of Trump being butt-booted but staying in position, unmovable but angry and irritated with each new kick. So much low entertainment, now that Firefly is dead all these years, watching the white middle classes get angrier and angrier and responding poorer and poorer, never understanding that their problems are mostly their own fault, not the government's. Trump can't fix what is wrong with his voters and they will never believe it is them, not government, that Made America Less Than Great. You thought you had him red handed! I'm wheezing thinking of how that blew up in your face. Then we quickly found images of many other recent politicians doing what looked like a nazi salute. You want real images of politicians posing with real terrorists? How many are there of Trump with Putin?

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Just to get back to the title about McCain being a 'libtard' hero - I'm not quite sure what qualifies him as one, besides being on board with every globalist 'intervention' ever proposed - whether it was Bill's 'intervention' in Yugoslavia, or Dubya's 'interventions' in Afghanistan and Iraq, or Obama's 'interventions' in Ukraine, Libya and Syria.

But the republicans didn't move their position on sending the US into foreign affairs, it was the democrats. During Vietnam they tried being the peace party, but they realized it cost them votes, because they didn't know how to sell the brand. So they circled around behind our backs and stopped being the semi-isolationist liberal peace party, and became the 'interventionist' 'neo'-liberal war party instead.

If that's the equivalence that makes McCain a 'libtard' hero - all those foreign 'interventions - maybe it does more to make Hillary a 'neo'-con DINO hero instead.
