I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Curiously, Dark Overlord originally held the documents for ransom, but the insurance companies apparently refused to pay.

So now they're up for bid. As a member of the public, if you want to see the documents you can contribute to a bitcoin fund. Or, if you're a terrorist or a newsgroup, you can outbid the public fund.

So far, enough money has been collected to release the first "layer".

It means that REAVERSHIT has nothing intelligent and on-point to say, which is all the time.

In fact, REAVESHIT's posts are so full of canned phrases I'm beginning to think that REAVERSHIT is- in reality- a bot, written to toss out insults at random.

Is there any evidence that REAVESHIT is a real live person? Any posts that show ANY originality, any responses that indicate something other than an automatic phrase-generator? Because I certainly don't remember any.

Ego much? What person or group calls themselves 'Dark Overlord' sounds like the name of a crazy anime cosplayer you would find who spends his time on 4chan??

In particular, it is used as a moniker in fictional worlds where it is thought that pronouncing the villain's real name will bring bad luck or represents a bad omen. Such a villain usually seeks to rule or destroy the people around them (such as Voldemort in Harry Potter, Sauron in Lord of the Rings etc)

Being a part of what some would call the "pirate" community myself, I take STRONG opposition to people doing things like this for profit. STRONG OPPOSITION.

THESE are the type of people who give online pirates a bad name.

I'm pretty sure most posters here are old enough to remember the days when music albums on CD and cassette regularly went for $15, $20 or more, and when you could buy a single season of shows like The Sopranos or X-Files for $125. Contrary to the ceaseless claims that piracy and the internet would kill the record industry and Hollywood, they're thriving today... All of that amidst the fact that we now have music streaming services like Spotify and movie streaming services like Netflix that have opened up a HUGE library of on demand entertainment for a mere fraction of the price we all used to have to pay.

This is something they HAD to do to survive competing with FREE. Not only did they do this, but they provided it on a platform that is easy enough that Grandma could use it. Piracy was in very many ways HARD to do if you wanted to set things up right and in an organized fashion.

Many people would gladly pay these subscription fees... not only for the ease of use these platforms bring, but because most people do want to pay for goods they receive as long as they're not being raped on the prices.

So yeah... Fuck Dark Overlord.

He's no different than Solja Boy and his Solja Game Console that just got removed from his online store after selling millions of units and being sued by Nintendo for it. People like them profit off of others and give a bad name to a community of Robin Hoods.
