I heard that all Burger Kings are closing.
But search results are not clear at this point.

Anybody heard of this?

That's a shame. The only one of the fast food joints that could make a decent burger.

RUE

I have a vote and I'm not afraid to use it!

not showing up as an item in google news

But I agree with Jack about the burgers, with the exception of a local mom-and-pop restaurant that makes the best ortega burger I've ever had.

I still haven't seen confirmation. And today is a bit late for April Fools.

Couldn't stand Burger King back when I could eat it. Here they only hire drug addicts and bottom feeders. The things I have heard they do to your food.... blehhhh.

They're better than McDonalds, Wendys or White Castle. That's not saying much, I know.

Back when I did eat fast food, they were the only place I ever went after my teens... outside of White Castle cause it was the only thing open at 3AM.

Wonder if they will close up here as well? Got a couple of them in my city.

So...

Where did you hear this?

There is absolutely nothing online posted in the last week that would support this claim. My Google-Fu rarely fails me.

If anything, that would be a related story to Taco Bell closing shop.

The search results did have some closings in large cities, all locations there, but the dates were unclear, and one was from last year.

I did ask the people which locations, and was told all.

I stopped by one today, they said that 2 locations were closing. But then 2 new locations were going to be opening. It's a shame, but one was a location right off the exit of 2 Interstates. The whole interchange got rebuilt the past 5 years - stacked 4 levels high, and the BK doesn't stand out as much anymore, kinda in the shadows.

At least it sounds like BK remains solvent. I still like their Rodeo Burger, real pies, Onion rings, pancakes, Big King. But the location I stopped today had switched to those new McDonald's menu boards, hiding the menu so that nobody can order off a menu, and the Rodeo was hidden, with only 1 employee knowing what a Rodeo was, or how to order it. They asked me how to make it.
Good recipe for failure - all restaurants should switch to this hidden menu to avoid having customers. The first hidden menu that I noticed was years ago at KFC. You had to know what you wanted plus how they needed to punch it into the register.

I haven't had a french fry in years, but Burger King's french fries were great after they changed their recipe about 10 or 15 years ago. I don't know if they still use that same recipe I'm talking about though.

Wendys is the only fast food joint that even comes close to Burger King.

I don't know how ya'all would categorize the strictly fast food joints, but I think of them as McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell and White Castle.

Living my entire life somewhere near the Chicagoland area, those were the ones that were always easy to find.

There's been some new ones that were regional before that have made their way closer to me, but I haven't tried most of them since I stopped eating fast food so long ago.

One that I did try though was Culver's, when I lived in Wisconsin. A few years ago they made one close to my house out here in NWI. They're absolutely disgusting, IMO. The one time I tried it when they picked Culver's for lunch, I got a bag plopped down on my desk that was saturated in grease and left a mess everywhere. The burger was soaked with it. It looked like they deep fried the entire thing. The fries weren't any better.

Gross.

Fast food, if Taco Hell is considered fast food:
KFC, McD's, Hardee's, Carl's Jr, Burger King, Whataburger, Wendy's, Culver's, Arby's, Sbarro's, Five Guys, Subway, Del Taco, Naugles, In-N-Out Burger, Jack in the Box, Long John Silver's, Dairy Queen, Quizno's, Chik-fil-A, A&W, Fatburger.

Beef Bowl was served faster than anybody, but was not fast food.
About the same for El Pollo Loco.
Rocky Roccoco slices are served fast, but they also bake whole pizza pies. Round Table Pizza had some Slice Windows with very brisk business (they had a line, and had great difficulty making the pizzas fast enough for demand) but only at select locations. Both of those also have Salad Bars.
Little Caesar's claims to have Hot-n-Ready whole pizzas, but that is often BS.
I assumed most folk thought Dominoes was fast food.
