The New York Times reported later Monday that the CIA’s Russian informant was instrumental to the agency’s conclusion that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered and orchestrated the campaign to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

The Times said the source was “the American government’s best insight into the thinking of and orders” from Putin, and was key to the CIA’s assessment that Putin favored Donald Trump’s candidacy and personally ordered the hacking of the Democratic National Committee.

And I believe what the CIA tells me ...

Yanno, Donald Trump's campaign was being spied on IN REAL TIME, while Trump was still campaigning and his staff subject to a number of "dangles", and they didn't find anything then. Then Mueller looked into every possible angle of Trump-Russia "collusion" after-the-fact and he STILL didn't find anything. It's too bad that Mueller didn't see fit to actually interview Assange, who could TELL HIM WHERE THE FILES CAME FROM. But I think Mueller didn't actually want to unearth exculpatory evidence; there were several obvious threads that he SHOULD have followed, but refused to. And if this source was exfiltrated in July 2017, why didn't Mueller point to it as evidence?

This whole story? There are several interpretations

1) Another bogus story from yet-another anonymous source.
2) A bogus "asset". The "asset" was feeding our intelligence agencies what they wanted to hear in exchange for a ticket to the USA.
3) Real info.

Color me skeptical.

I honestly think he thinks Sig is just trying to be his friend and that she's being persecuted for her views so he's trying to show her he's sorta with her agenda.

There is definitely a pattern of him going with opposing views just because they are the opposing view because he thinks it makes him an intellectual rogue, when he really just can't tell for himself which side of an issue is the dumb one.

Assange could lie to Mueller. There was no way for Mueller to punish Assange for completely fabricating whatever story best amused Assange. Then Putin said Russia didn't interfere with American elections. Again, Mueller couldn't punish Putin for lying in the most amusing ways. Then Trump backed Putin on that. And Trump also fired FBI Director Comey because Comey didn't take Putin at his word about not interfering with the election. The previous FBI Director, Mueller, was called in to continue what Comey started. Again, there was no way for Mueller to punish Trump for lying in the silliest imaginable ways, same as Assange and Putin being nonpunishable by Mueller.

Of course he could. ANYone could lie to Mueller ... even this CIA "asset" could be lying. That's why you would look for EVIDENCE ... which BTW the FBI completely failed to do with the DNC server.

Maybe Assange has the original thumb drive. Maybe he has a signed affidavit. Nothing Wikileaks has ever published has been found to be falsified, clearly there is some verification process at work! But, we won't know ... will we? ... because Mueller never went down one of the most obvious investigatory paths.

It's ridiculous .... you trust in the most woo-woo statements from a press that has spread proven lies in the past... and an agency that has provably lied in the past, and you overlook the most obvious avenues of getting real information. You also fail to apply the most rudimentary logic to what you read/hear and fail to scan for inconsistencies, incompleteness, and cui bono?.

This is what KIKI calls "mindreading" at its worst. If I were to speculate why Comey was fired it was because Comey lied to Trump bald-faced, telling Trump that he was not under investigation while running a covert op/leak campaign against him. In my book, that should be enought to get anbody fired. Jeez, you're tool.

This is why Trump's income tax returns make him more vulnerable than anything about Russia. And he and his accountants won't be able to lie their way out of paying what Trump owes.

There are actual numbers on file with the IRS for what Trump paid all the way back to when he was a baby. And it is possible for forensic accountants who usually work on bankruptcies and divorces to calculate what Trump should have paid. It is almost like Science!

About 80% of Americans are opposed to tax cheating, especially by Presidents. Check what happened to Nixon. Despite Trump promising he would make his tax returns available to the public, he is using the power of Presidency to prevent the numbers filed with IRS from ever being known to Congress because, if those were known, even some Trump lovers would fall out of love with Trump.

I'm personally familiar with how easy (AND 100% PROFITABLE!) it is for tax cheating American One-Percenters to not get caught. They aren't the President, so they don't worry much about the IRS, or Congress, or the New York Times showing interest in their tax-cheating. I'm sure that Trump did cheat, but until those IRS numbers are known, most Americans won't be sure. Most Americans will never be sure about Russiagate because everybody is lying about everything. They can be sure about Trump's tax-cheating, it will be a number measured in dollars, but only after Trump's tax returns are made available.

Great. Like I've said before, he ain't my daddy.

I like how things are going now though, compared to the previous administrations 8 years. So I'm in no hurry to see his tax returns for the next 5 years.

After that, by all means, lock up the entire Trump family in the same cell that was supposed to be housing the Clinton family today.

Russiagate has political questions: Is it serious enough to jail Trump? Or only serious enough to switch in Pence and allow Trump to go back to his annual tax cheating? The Republican Senators and Trump voters don't want to ask the questions. But tax cheating is not political and does not necessarily mean jail for Trump. It could simply mean . . . Trump finally pays what he always owed. I think he'd be a better President if he'd just pay and stop the constant lying about everything, including where his tax returns are, whether he promised to make the returns available, did the Russians help him get elected, will he balance the budget, hurricanes (not) in Alabama, and the Clintons.

'One America News' Claims Defamation In $10 Million Lawsuit Against Rachel Maddow

It looks as though liberals may never learn that just because they disagree with someone's opinion, it doesn't automatically make them a tool of the Russian government. And leading the charge of liberals disseminating Russiagate nothingburgers, of course, continues to be Rachel Maddow.

Conservative television network One America News (OAN) is suing Rachel Maddow for $10 million after she referred to the network as "paid Russian propaganda". OAN filed the defamation suit in federal court in San Diego, according to AP. OAN is a small, family owned conservative network that is based in San Diego and has received favorable Tweets from the President. It is seen as a competitor to Fox News.

OAN's lawsuit claims that Maddow's comments were retaliation after OAN President Charles Herring accused Comcast of censorship. The suit said that Comcast refuses to carry its channel because “counters the liberal politics of Comcast’s own news channel, MSNBC.”

It was about a week after Herring e-mailed a Comcast executive when Maddow opened her show by referring to a Daily Beast report that claimed an OAN employee also worked for Sputnik News, which has ties to the Russian government.

Maddow said: “In this case, the most obsequiously pro-Trump right-wing news outlet in America really literally is paid Russian propaganda.

Yep. They're Russian trolls! Except ... not.

Quote:

Their on-air U.S. politics reporter is paid by the Russian government to produce propaganda for that government.”

Except Maddow, likely still upset from spending 3 years trying to promulgate a Russian hoax that didn't exist, didn't quite get her facts straight. Big surprise.

OAN said in its lawsuit that while reporter Kristian Rouz was associated with Sputnik News, he worked solely as a freelancer for them and was not a staff employee of OAN. And the lawsuit includes a statement from Rouz stating that while he has written some 1,300 articles over the past 4 and a half years for Sputnik, he has "...never written propaganda, disinformation, or unverified information.”

Skip Miller, OAN's attorney stated:

“One America is wholly owned, operated and financed by the Herring family in San Diego. They are as American as apple pie. They are not paid by Russia and have nothing to do with the Russian government. This is a false and malicious libel, and they’re going to answer for it in a court of law.”

The lawsuit included an August 6th letter from an NBC Universal attorney who stated that "OAN publishes content collected or created by a journalist who is also paid by the Russian government for writing over a thousand articles. Ms. Maddow’s recounting of this arrangement is substantially true and therefore not actionable."

We'll see about that.

Me, who should not be President, thinks Trump should not be President. That is not irony. What is ironic is the constant drumbeat from Trump apologists that this Russia scandal is "OVER". The news is always moving on to the next scandal, but that doesn't mean the previous 100 scandals are "OVER". It means that the legal system, which happens to be the GOP controlled Senate, cannot process the previous scandals. By process, I mean fire Trump, since he is off his rocker, and replace him with Mike Pence, who is steady, sane, and loyal to America.

I've got a story about how slowly the legal system handles people who are off their rocker. This is from yesterday:
Quote:

For the first time in five years, Karla Haskell on Tuesday saw her son from the witness stand as she testified at his murder trial.

The last time was in July 2014, before he left her home in California, drove to Texas and executed six members of the Stay family in Spring.

The mother scarcely looked at Ronald Haskell, 39, for long. Referring to him as Ronnie — like she always has — she described his altogether pleasant childhood and assured the jurors that she would always love him.

But a darker thread emerged in her story as defense attorneys attempted to get to the root of Haskell's mental illness. Karla Haskell told jurors that Ronald's life crumbled after his wife and four children left him in 2013, culminating in an assault on his mother and the slaying of the Stays one week later.

"I just knew he was falling apart," she said. "His world was falling apart."

It will take at least as long as this murder trial for Trump's trial(s) to start. Maybe longer, because Trump has friends in the legal system. He might die before a trial of the wacky things he has done, including my favorite Trump crime, income tax evasion. Remember, Haskell is "innocent" of murder until proven guilty. In the same sense, Trump is "innocent".

The reason why I say you're nuts, SECOND, is because you'll post that it's TAXES!* and right after that you'll post that it's RUSSIA!!** and then right after that you'll post some other made-up shit.

*The IRA is auditing Trump. Neither you nor I have any evidence that Trump cheated on his TAXES! that is merely your fantasy assumption

** Trump has been thru the wringer on RUSSIA!! Not only is there no evidence that he colluded with Russia, there is significant evidence that this whole thing was an internationally-coordinated covert operation against Trump and a giant psyop against the American people. And yet, you still post that Trump should go to jail for it.

You'd be a lot more credible if you would stop focusing on delusions and start focusing on the real problems with Trump and the Trump administration, instead of carrying on with this private vendetta that you seem to have with the Party of Nixon (which itself is kind of moronic because it was Johnson that ramped up the war in Vietnam and Nixon that got us out).

Meet me over here President Trump: good, bad, and ugly http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=61325 and let's talk about reality.

Did you read the article "It's nearly impossible to track all the scandals swirling around Trump"?
www.cnn.com/2019/09/10/politics/donald-trump-scandals/index.html

Mitch McConnell, in the Senate, needs to tell Trump to either fix his White House or else McConnell will, with the Democrats, dump Trump for Mike Pence. McConnell won't because Kentucky voters would dump McConnell, but it is obvious that Trump is off his rocker while Pence has all his marbles.

Wow. Paranoid much.

To what ends, man? What are they recruiting me for? Who would possibly pay two individuals to be posting on a website that nobody but a dozen or so people still visit to recruit them for some nefarious purpose? Or is it three? Is Brenda also on the payroll already, or is she just a sucker like me?

Maybe you could do me a favor here and tell me exactly what they'd be going after me for?

I've got no money. If nothing else, I've made that abundantly clear.

I've never been on a plane, and I never intend on getting on one unless the day comes where I cross going to New Zealand off my bucket list. CA is not New Zealand, so if they ever need any help with anything in person they're going to have to come to me. This is also something that's very well known since I've said quite a few times that anywhere I've ever sat down I've never been more than 250 miles away from that spot.

Okay... so how about help with some online Russian scheme? Well... I can't imagine I'd be any help there either. I don't do Facebook or Twitter. I have a YouTube page, but everything is set to private.

The only possible thing I could think of would be trying to get me to support any alleged legal action that is going to be taken against anybody here for libel. Well, guess what buddy? I've already voiced my opinion on that MANY times and I'm STRONGLY AGAINST any such action from anybody here.

You'll probably also notice that Kiki and I are still prone to get into arguments outside of the garden and rain thread on certain things that I don't suppose we're ever going to change each other's minds on.

So.... Social Engineering in the RWED? Seriously dude, WTF would somebody recruit me for? To argue against half a dozen people who are never going to change their mind on anything?

I had to take the car keys from my mother because she gets lost. She'd call me for directions because nothing looked familiar. She has a GPS, but she needs reminding to push the button for HOME. Trump is too proud to use a GPS since he is a "very stable genius", but he gets lost. It is time for Mitch McConnell to take the keys away from Trump and let Mike Pence do the driving.

For the record, Mike Pence never engaged in any of Trump's atrocities. But Pence is sane and Trump is nuts:

Trump Atrocities 1 to 112

1 – February 10, 2011 – In 2011, Donald Trump stoked false claims that Barack Obama had lied about his education. During a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump said, “Our current president came out of nowhere. Came out of nowhere. In fact, I’ll go a step further: The people that went to school with him, they never saw him, they don’t know who he is. It’s crazy.” This is false. Numerous accounts from Obama’s college classmates refute Trump’s claim, including Obama’s Columbia roommate, Phil Doerner.

2 – March 30, 2011 – Donald Trump was a vocal proponent of the “birther” myth, claiming Barack Obama was not born in the United States. In 2011, Trump told Bill O’Reilly, “If you are going to be president of the United States you have to be born in this country. And there is a doubt as to whether or not he was… He doesn’t have a birth certificate. He may have one, but there’s something on that, maybe religion, maybe it says he is a Muslim. I don’t know. Maybe he doesn’t want that. Or he may not have one. But I will tell you this. If he wasn’t born in this country, it’s one of the great scams of all time.” In response to the “birther” conspiracy theory, the State of Hawaii released Barack Obama’s short- and long-form birth certificate.

3 – August 6, 2012 – Over a year after the White House released Obama’s long-form birth certificate, Donald Trump again promoted the “birther” myth, tweeting, “An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that @BarackObama’s birth certificate is a fraud.” President Trump has publicly attacked media outlets for citing anonymous sources, but has himself cited anonymous sources numerous times to support the claim that Barack Obama lied about his biography.

4 – December 12, 2013 – Years after first stirring controversy about Barack Obama’s birthplace, Donald Trump implied a conspiracy surrounding the death of the Hawaiian State Official who had released Obama’s long-form birth certificate in 2011. Trump tweeted, “How amazing, the State Health Director who verified copies of Obama’s “birth certificate” died in plane crash today. All others lived.”

5 – May 27, 2015 – Continuing to build on the debunked “birther” conspiracy, Donald Trump said Barack Obama could have claimed Kenya as his birthplace for special treatment from colleges. Trump said, “There are three things that could happen. And one of them did happen. He was perhaps born in Kenya. Very simple, OK? He was perhaps born in this country. But said he was born in Kenya because if you say you were born in Kenya, you got aid and you got into colleges. People were doing that. So perhaps he was born in this country, and that has a very big chance. Or, you know, who knows?"

You do realize that only half of all people "don't care"? They are passive. They feel they must take what life sends their way. Then there are the people who do care. Those people tend to get what they want because of their intensity. You can even know the numbers for their intensity and what they got in exchange:

Median and average net worth by education
No high school diploma: Median net worth: $22,800 (average net worth: $157,200).
High school diploma: $67,100 ($249,600).
Some college: $66,100 ($340,600).
College degree: $292,100 ($1,511,100).
What is the moral of this story? (Those Americans who don't finish college tend to not get rich. Trump will do nothing to fix that.)

Median and average net worth by age
Under 35: Median net worth: $11,100 (average net worth: $76,200).
35-44: $59,800 ($288,700).
45-54: $124,200 ($727,500).
55-64: $187,300 ($1,167,400).
65-74: $224,100 ($1,066,000).
75+: $264,800 ($1,067,000).
What is the moral of this story? (Those Americans who don't look after themselves tend to drop dead younger and poorer than those who do. Trump will do nothing to fix that.)

The median net worth of the average U.S. household is $97,300. Median is the middle point where half the households have more and half have less.
What is the moral of this story? (Half of Americans are very short on intensity and what they will receive is only as large as their intensity. Trump will do nothing to fix that.)

Nobody in NC's 9th District cared. Even though somebody paid big bucks for a DC firm to manage the candidacy and infuse $120,000 of the $5 Million Dem Dan "raised", mostly from out of state actors, compared to the less than $2 Million GOP Dan raised in what everyone agrees is a Republican district.

Despite all that, Dem Dan still lost. Not only did he lose, but he lost by more than 4 times the vote of the previous election where alleged fraud took place.

So contrary to the fake news that the WaPo, NYT and CNN are trying to paint this as signs of future trouble for Republicans, it was not only a huge win behind the scenes for the GOP, but compared to the extremely tight results of the "blew wave" of 2018 in District 9, the GOP has actually increased its win there since the mid-terms. It didn't even matter that Dems all over the country infused nearly 4 million dollars into a state legislature they should by all rights not have even cared about other than to push a narrative that they were unable to push after the results were in.

What I meant was, nobody cares what YOU have to say, Second.

Christ. You want Pence running the country.

I'm just waiting for you to start defending Bolton.

Maybe we can resurrect John McCain from the grave and make him Pence's VP.

Short of that, let's just give the job to Mueller.

What I've got is actual research. Look at the FEC receipts for the NC 9th district election.

Where do you think the "journalists" that tell you what to think get the information they parse through before deciding what and how much they're going to show to you to paint the picture they want to paint?

Most of this stuff from money to polling methodology is made available to the public by law.

This is why I'm usually right about election results when everyone else has been wrong in the last 3 years. I do actual research. You read article headlines and maybe the first paragraph or two from partisan sources.

But by all means, keep being lied to, and get ready for another big surprise in 2020 when the "impossible" happens twice in a row.

Do you know much about North Carolina, btw? A hardcore GOP state. Trump won that district by 12%, and yet GoP Dan won by only 2%, even with Trump stumping for his him right before the vote. Did you know that? You really that's a move in the right direction?

The GOP does do it. I said so in the 2020 thread and even went a bit in depth about it. It's a huge problem and it should be barred.

My point in this particular case however is that Dem Dan "outraised" GOP Dan by 2 1/2 times, nearly all of that money from DC, NY, IL and CA and almost none of it coming from people within the state.

Think about it for a second, buddy.

Let's say that it WAS fraud and that the previous GOP candidate did cheat. That would mean that 2018 was even closer than previously recorded, or even that the Democratic candidate actually won in 2018. Maybe even by more than GOP Dan won by in the special election now.

If that is the case, then this new election is even better news for the GOP since the vote spread was almost 4,000 votes in favor of GOP Dan.

If the fraud was real, my point is even stronger. Maybe GOP Dan got 5 to 10 times as many votes vs the Democratic candidate than the 2018 candidate did.

Quote:

I know all about those numbers.

I'm telling you to look at the FEC receipts and see that all of Dem Dan's support was from out of state and that a large DC firm called Prism Communications was paid off by somebody to not only handle his campaign but to infuse $120,000 of cash into his coffer.

Even with all of that outside help, Dem Dan couldn't win. The only thing they got for all that energy and money wasted was to be able to paint the false narrative you're regurgitating with your 12% vs 2% statistic and completely ignoring the money behind the scenes.

Also, why are you jumping from point A to point Z here?

We've already had the Blew Wave in 2018. Point A would be Trump's election in 2016. Point B would be the 9th District results that were thrown out because of alleged fraud and only a spread of 800 or so votes in GOP favor in 2018.

If there was no actual cheating in 2018, there was still roughly 3,000 more votes for the GOP in 2019 here than in 2018. If there was actually cheating going on, this spread might actually be 4,000, 5,000, 6,000, maybe more?

So Point Z would be the current election. Despite all the help Dem Dan got, the GOP pulled off a win here that was far beyond the necessity for a recount compared with the razor sharp margin of the 2018 vote.

You need to go from Point B to Point Z here. Not Point A to Z. Otherwise you're just lying to yourself and not taking into account that there was a shift here in the "wrong" direction since the mid-term Blew Wave.

How exactly would it have helped? A single seat when Democrats are nowhere near a super-majority? Especially when the 3rd District also had an election on the same night and the GOP blew the Dem candidate out of the water with very little news coverage.

I'll answer that for you. It would have allowed these "news" outlets to continue to push their narrative that the GOP is in trouble in 2020.

Looking at all of their headlines regarding the race, it seems that losing this even though the deck was heavily stacked in their favor from outside help didn't stop them from trying though.

Believe whatever you want though. You're only setting yourself up for another huge letdown if you don't heed my words here.

Gen. Flynn’s Endgame Approaches
Brian Cates
Commentary

Having followed Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s perjury case from the beginning, it’s been apparent to me for some time that there are a lot of things in this case that just don’t add up. Strange occurrences abound.

Here are just some of the twists and turns in the case, which has gone on for more than three years.

1 Flynn’s trip to Russia in 2015, where it was claimed Flynn went without the knowledge or approval of the DIA or anyone in Washington, was proven not to be true.
2 Flynn was suspected of being compromised by a supposed Russian agent, Cambridge academic Svetlana Lokhova, based on allegations from Western intelligence asset Stefan Halper. This was also proven to be not true.
3 Flynn’s phone calls with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were framed as being incredibly shady and a potential violation of the Logan Act. This allegation was always preposterous.
4 Unnamed intelligence officials leaked the details of the Flynn-Kislyak phone calls to The Washington Post.
5 FBI agents Peter Strzok and Joseph Pientka were dispatched by Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe to interview Flynn at the White House, even though the FBI had already reviewed the transcripts of the calls and cleared Flynn of any crimes.
6 Both FBI Director James Comey and McCabe testified to Congress that Flynn didn’t lie.
7 Despite what McCabe and Comey both testified to under oath before Congress, the Mueller special counsel’s office decided to prosecute Flynn for perjury in November of 2017.
8 The very strange post-dated FD-302 form on the FBI’s January 2017 interview of Flynn that wasn’t filled out until August 2017, almost seven months afterward, is revealed in a court filing by Flynn’s defense team.
9 FBI agent Pientka became the “DOJ’s Invisible Man,” despite the fact that Congress has repeatedly called for him to testify. Pientka has remained out of sight and out of mind more than a year and a half since his name first surfaced in connection with the Flynn case.
10 Judge Rudolph Contreras was removed from the Flynn case immediately after accepting Flynn’s guilty plea and was replaced by Judge Emmit Sullivan.
11 Sullivan issued what’s known as a Brady order to prosecutors–which ordered them to immediately turn over any exculpatory evidence to Flynn’s defense team. Flynn’s team then made a filing alleging the withholding of exculpatory evidence.
12 Flynn was given a chance to withdraw his guilty plea by Judge Sullivan but refused, and insisted to go forward with sentencing.
13 Flynn suddenly fired his lawyers for the past two years and hired Sidney Powell to lead his new legal team following special counsel Robert Mueller’s disastrous testimony to Congress. And now, the latest startling development:
14 Flynn filed to have the Mueller prosecution team replaced for having withheld exculpatory evidence, despite Sullivan having directly ordered them to hand any such evidence over months ago.

AND NOW, ABOUT THAT "TROLL FARM"

Quote:

Now, it’s not that far-fetched of an idea that the Mueller special counsel prosecutors would hide exculpatory evidence from the Flynn defense team, since they’ve just admitted to having done exactly that in another case their office has been prosecuting.

The defense team for Internet Research Agency/Concord, more popularly known as “the Russian troll farm case,” hasn’t been smooth going for the Mueller prosecutors.

First, the prosecution team got a real tongue-lashing from Judge Dabney L. Friedrich in early July, when it turned out they had no evidence whatsoever to prove their assertion that the Russian troll farms were being run by the Putin government.

Then, in a filing submitted to the court on Aug. 30, the IRA/Concord defense team alerted Judge Friedrich that the prosecutors just got around to handing them key evidence the prosecutors had for the past 18 months. The prosecution gave no explanation whatsoever as to why they hid this key evidence for more than a year.

It’s hard to see at this point how the entire IRA/Concord case isn’t tossed out.

Back to Flynn

Quote:

What would it mean for Flynn’s prosecutors to have been caught hiding exculpatory evidence from him and his lawyers, even after the presiding judge explicitly ordered them in February to hand over everything they had?

It would mean that the Flynn case is tossed out, since the prosecution team was caught engaging in gross misconduct.

Now you can see why Flynn refused to withdraw his guilty plea when Judge Sullivan gave him the opportunity to do so in late December 2018.

A withdrawal of the guilty plea or a pardon would let the Mueller prosecution team off the hook.

And they’re not getting off the hook.

Flynn hired the best lawyer he possibly could have when it comes to exposing prosecutorial misconduct. Nobody knows the crafty, corrupt, and dishonest tricks federal prosecutors use better than Powell, who actually wrote a compelling book about such matters, entitled “License to Lie: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice.”

Everything this Mueller prosecution team did in withholding exculpatory evidence from Flynn’s defense team—and continued to withhold even after Judge Sullivan specifically issued an order about it—is going to be fully exposed.

Defying a federal judge’s Brady order is a one-way ticket to not only getting fired, it’s a serious enough offense to warrant disbarment and prosecution.

If it turns out Mueller special counsel prosecutors withheld exculpatory evidence— not only in the IRA/Concord case, but also in the cases against Flynn, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, Rick Gates, Roger Stone, and others—that will have a huge impact.

If they are willing to withhold exculpatory evidence in one case, why wouldn’t they do the same thing in other cases they were prosecuting? Haven’t they have already demonstrated they are willing to break the rules?

GOP Dan? What effort? Trump came and did a single rally?

Dem Dan had $5 million bucks on his hands for this election and Prism Communications from DC backing him (which is likely where a ton of that out of state funding came from).

GOP Dan had $2 million bucks. GOP Dan also put a quarter of a million of that into the campaign through personal funds. Dem Dan didn't put up any of his money. He didn't have to.

Maybe if Dem Dan spent the full $5 Million instead of sitting on nearly half a million unspent bucks he would have gotten that last 4,000 votes he needed to win?

If I were you, I would track closely what happens to that money. Would be a shame if everybody just lets him pocket it and be on his merry way.

Hardly. Fraud is fraud - you can't use fraudulent numbers as a benchmark up or down. And maybe because of those "numbers" the fraud was better this time as Jo suggested? Sh*t, even Trump suggested a near miracle rebound by his boy from way back to winning. You trust Trump, right? "Miracle?" You also have no idea what difference in GOP turn out it might have caused because the last one was Fraud.

Bottom line - to suggest that a 2% win in a district that has gone GOP since the 60's...and in a district that Trump won by 12%.... and with a Republican President stumping for him... you have to be lying to yourself at the very least.

No worries - I know you'll just ignore all those facts. That's like your super power.

Who cares how much money was raised or who's money it was? You can spend money poorly. You can also lose easily no matter how much you spend in a district that has been Republican since the 60's. I give them credit for trying.

Yeah. I'm really getting bored of talking to the equivalent of a child and their circular logic. I'm really just trying to keep the four or five of you from completely snapping when it all happens again a year from now.

I'll just ignore you on this topic for now and laugh when 2020 comes and goes, Trump is still president by a larger margin than last time, Trump replaces Ginsberg with another Supreme Court Justice and impeachment is still talked about but never goes anywhere.

If the Dems make the mistake of keeping her on life support for too much longer, Trump won't even have to put a barely Righty Justice up there before his re-election.

How's that illegal alien thing working out? Not like you'd hoped?

I'm a fan of the recent SCOTUS ruling. I don't imagine that guns are going to go anywhere for at least a generation either.
