Far better is https://odds.watch/trump-2020

At the moment Trump is 42% likely to win.

He has been as low as 29% in Jan 2019 and as high as 60% in Feb 2020.

In essence, America flips a coin every 4 years. The odds are always around 50% of winning. America has been randomly flipping back and forth between D and R since Harry Truman. But the one thing the R's have always understood: In the Senate they can constantly sabotage the D's, even when the R's are a minority with at least 34 Senators, while the D's never are coordinated enough to constantly sabotage the R's. Because of misguided notions of "fairness", the Senate D's don't want to play as rough as the Senate R's.

How it is that Trump has so far weathered all this pretty well I couldn't say except Trump is a FAR better salesman than people give him credit for, and, well, then there's Biden as the alternative.

Yup...

The best thing Biden did for a month or two is not say a damned word. Those days are over now. The more he talks the less his chances are.

And the Legacy Media is never going to learn their lesson and take into account the engagement Trump has with his base or the people who are going to vote for him but don't talk about it because they're afraid to admit it.

And those debates....

They are going to be HILARIOUS!

Now, this is from CNN (with my commentary):

analysis (so-called)
The electoral map is tilting badly against Donald Trump right now (How many months till November, again?)
• Analysis: GOP senator admits what we've all suspected about the party for a while (Murkowksi - not exactly a GOP party leader.)
• Trump meets with top campaign aides as reelection fears rise (the usual 'source', but singular)
• Opinion: Trump's foundation is cracking (Because, yanno - Mattis. Uh .. who, again?)

(Jeeze CNN, just give us raw-meat-splatter news, and stop with the narratives, already.)

Speaking of The Clinton News Network, Chris Cuomo asks his (extremely small) audience where on earth does it say that protests have to be "polite... and peaceful".

Any guesses where it might say that, TDS suffering Dems on this board?

Any of you have a clue where it might say that?

Any clue at all?

The electoral map is tilting badly against Donald Trump right now

Amid the protests following the police killing of George Floyd and the ongoing fight against the coronavirus pandemic, something very important has been overlooked: President Donald Trump is now a decided underdog to reach the 270 electoral votes he needs to win a second term in the fall.

A series of polls in swing (and not-so-swing) states released Wednesday make this reality plain.

* A Fox News poll in Arizona shows Joe Biden leading Trump 46% to 42%

* A Fox News poll in Ohio put Biden at 45% to Trump's 43%

* A Fox News poll in Wisconsin had Biden at 49% and Trump at 40%.

* A Quinnipiac University poll in Texas had the race at Trump 44%, Biden 43%.

How bad are those numbers for Trump? To put a fine point on it: Really bad.

Now, let's look at what these numbers would mean to Trump's chances of getting to 270 in November.

Start here: Trump got 306 electoral votes in his 2016 win. Now, consider these 2020 scenarios (all calculations made via 270towin.com):

* If Trump loses Texas (and wins everywhere else he won in 2016), he loses to Biden, 270 electoral votes to 268 electoral votes.

* If Trump loses Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin (and wins everywhere else he won in 2016), he loses to Biden 278 to 260.

* If Trump loses Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania (and wins everywhere else he won in 2016), he loses to Biden 279 to 259.

* If Trump loses Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin (and wins everywhere else he won in 2016), he loses to Biden 276 to 262.

* If Trump loses Arizona, Ohio and Wisconsin (and wins everywhere else he won in 2016), he loses to Biden 271 to 267.

The point here is not to say any of these electoral map scenarios are locked in. After all, we are still 152 days away from the November 3 election. (And, yes, I counted.)

Rather, they are to note that Biden, as of right now, has a WHOLE lot of different paths to 270 electoral votes, while Trump has a dwindling number. And of course, the polls on released on Wednesday don't even deal with potential trouble spots for Trump in Florida, North Carolina and Georgia -- all of which he won in 2016.

I'm reluctant to say the polls are meaningful because

1) as the article itself points out, there are a lot of days before November
2) polls have been wrong before!
and
3) I can't imagine what the sudden shift in the popular mind is that has long survived Trump's worse than abysmal handing of the SARS-COV-2 outbreak here in the US. So who all is he losing, and why now?

Your questions show an ignorance on your part as to what's what. If you really don't know what groups of voters Trumps losing then you're not really paying attention. Or, you really do know what's what and are just feigning ignorance rather than post the truth. Everything points to Trump going down comrade.

Lindsey Graham Shaken After Latest S.C. Polls Show His Demise
May 27, 2020

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) may have miscalculated big time when he decided to throw his support all in for Trump. A new Daily Kos/ Civiqs poll reveals that in the traditionally very Republican state of South Carolina, Graham is tied with his presumptive Democratic general election challenger, Jaime Harrison. Both of the candidates garnered 42 percent of the support in the poll. At the same time, Graham’s overall favorability even within his own political party is strikingly low — he registered in the poll results as the least popular Republican politician in the state overall and among Republicans in particular.

Might not be zero if the Silent Majority can read:

President Donald Trump repeatedly endangered national security — and committed a series of potentially impeachable offenses — to boost his reelection prospects, former national security adviser John Bolton argues in a forthcoming White House memoir.

Bolton writes that the House should have broadened its impeachment inquiry to other areas of his foreign policy, contending that he can document — and identify witnesses to — "Ukraine-like transgressions ... across the full range of his foreign policy," according to a description by Simon & Schuster released Friday.

Despite Bolton's refusal to testify, Simon & Schuster said he was “astonished” by Trump’s actions, and viewed him as a “president for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation."

Bolton was “hard-pressed to identify any significant Trump decision” during his tenure as national security adviser, from April 2018 through September 2019, “that wasn’t driven by reelection calculations.”

The Room Where It Happened A White House Memoir

This is the book Donald Trump doesn't want you to read.

There hasn't been a detailed, inside account on how this president makes decisions on a day-to-day basis, until now. John Bolton served as National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump for 519 days. A seasoned public servant who had previously worked for Presidents Reagan, Bush #41, and Bush #43, Bolton brought to the administration forty years of experience in international issues and a reputation for tough, blunt talk. In The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir (available June 23, 2020), Bolton offers a substantive and factual account of the period from April 9, 2018 to September 10, 2019, when he had nearly daily communications with the President.

Drawn from his personal participation in key events, and filled with perspective and humor, Bolton covers an array of topics—chaos in the White House, sure, but also assessments of major players, the President’s inconsistent, scattershot decision-making process, and his dealings with allies and enemies alike, from China, Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, Iran, the UK, France, and Germany. What Bolton saw astonished him: a president for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation. “I am hard-pressed to identify any significant Trump decision during my tenure that wasn't driven by reelection calculations,” he writes. In fact, he argues that the House committed impeachment malpractice by keeping their prosecution focused narrowly on Ukraine when Trump's Ukraine-like transgressions existed across the full range of his foreign policy— and Bolton documents exactly what those were, and attempts by him and others in the Administration to raise alarms about them.

Bolton also reveals what it was like to fight against an incumbent President determined to prevent publication of this book. Trump directed the seizure of and withheld his personal and other unclassified documents, despite numerous requests for their return. He also obstructed Bolton’s Twitter account and made outright threats of censorship. Bolton's response? Game on.

In the months leading up to the publication of The Room Where It Happened. Bolton worked in cooperation with the National Security Council to incorporate changes to the text that addressed NSC concerns. The final, published version of this book reflects those changes, and Simon & Schuster is fully supportive of Ambassador Bolton’s First Amendment right to tell the story of his time in the Trump White House.

About the Author: John Bolton is the former National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump. He served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations from 2005 to 2006. He has spent many years of his career in public service and held high-level positions in the Administrations of Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush. Ambassador Bolton is also an attorney, and was in private practice in Washington, DC, from 1974 to 2018, except when he was in government service. Ambassador Bolton was born in Baltimore in 1948. He graduated with a BA, summa cum laude, from Yale College and received his JD from Yale Law School. He currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland.

New Poll from Scott Rasmussen and Trump-Friendly Outlet Shows Biden Beating Trump by Whopping 12 Points

A new poll from Scott Rasmussen’s RMG Research and John Solomon’s website showed President Donald Trump down 12 points to presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden .

The poll, published on Solomon’s site Just the News, shows Biden up 48 percent to Trump’s 36 percent, while the previous poll showed the president trailing by just 7 points.

Solomon’s work has been cited by the Trump administration many times in the past and seen as Trump-friendly.

The poll’s full sample showed that in the upcoming election, 36 percent would vote for Trump, 48 percent would vote for Biden, 6 percent would vote for another candidate, while 9 percent were unsure.

There was no change among Democratic voters in Rasmussen’s poll, but the president lost four points from Republicans and 13 from Independents. The previous poll also showed that Biden and Trump were tied among Independents at 39 percent.

Rasmussen blamed Trump’s low numbers on the coronavirus pandemic and on the police killing of George Floyd, and noted that the Democrats’ only concern at this point is that the presidential election is not be held today.

“There is no way to describe these numbers as anything but bad news for President Trump,” Rasmussen said. “If the election were held today, he would lose … and lose badly. The Republican majority in the Senate would certainly be at risk as well.”

Is the Trump family destroying Donald's presidency from the inside?

It seems that no one hates the Trumps as much as they hate each other.

Revenge, as Mary Trump seems well aware, is a dish best served cold. Twenty years after a bitter familial feud over her grandfather’s will, Donald Trump’s niece looks like she is finally about to wreak vengeance on her uncle.

The Daily Beast reported on Monday that Mary, 55, who is the daughter of Donald’s late brother Fred Trump Jr, has written a “harrowing and salacious” book about the president. Too Much and Never Enough will be published in the US on 28 July, a month before the Republican National Convention. The timing is clearly designed to do maximum damage.

Why the bad blood? Well, for one thing, Mary reportedly blames Donald for mistreating her alcoholic father – behaviour she believes contributed to his death from a heart attack at the age of 42. Then there was the fight over Fred Trump Sr’s estate in 2000. Mary and her brother, Fred Trump III, claimed they were dealt with unfairly in their grandfather’s will as a result of “fraud and undue influence” by Donald and two of his siblings. The ill will is said to have escalated when Donald, in retaliation for the lawsuit, cut off medical insurance for Fred III’s seriously ill infant son, who required round-the-clock care. Fred III was quoted as saying: “Our family puts the ‘fun’ in dysfunctional.”

Dysfunctional is an understatement. The appearance-obsessed Trumps project an image of unity, but, behind the polished facade, they seem to loathe and distrust each other. This is not surprising, considering that one of Donald’s favourite mantras to his kids growing up was reportedly: “Don’t trust anyone.” According to a GQ profile of Donald Trump Jr, the president used to ask his children whether they trusted him. When they replied: “Of course,” he would tell them off for not learning their lesson. Maybe he had a point: Mary’s book (which is also said to contain “damning” comments from Donald’s sister, the retired federal judge Maryanne Trump Barry) marks the first time a Trump has written a critical tell-all about the president, but I would be surprised if it were the last time one of his own undermined him. The question is: which Trump will turn on the president next?

It is always the quiet ones you have to watch out for – and you don’t get much quieter than Melania Trump. Melania may be taciturn, but she is no dummy – nor is she a pushover. It has been widely reported that she used her husband’s presidency as an opportunity to renegotiate her prenuptial agreement – staying in New York during the first few months he was in office as leverage for negotiations. “That woman! She will be the end of him,” one of Trump’s friends was reportedly overheard saying about Melania’s refusal to move to Washington. Who knows, those may be prophetic words. Perhaps Melania will end up finishing what Mary has started.

Trump’s 2020 polls are getting worse. Here’s proof

The Detroit Free Press reported Tuesday that a poll that was conducted in the same period as the earlier Michigan poll, but a day later — and by the same pollster, EPIC-MRA — showed that Biden’s margin was actually 16 points. That’s within the margin of error of the other poll, so it doesn’t necessarily mean that Trump’s numbers deteriorated that week. But when you compare it with EPIC-MRA’s earlier polling, which in January showed Biden up just six points, that does indicate a decline for Trump: From Biden at plus-6 in January to Biden between plus-12 and plus-16 in early June.

And Trump is Trump.

And all the shit going on out there right now isn't helping Democrats any.

And weapon sales are up 80% from last year, with 40% of those being people who never owned a gun before. And none of those people are going to vote for Biden.

Fox News poll shows that Biden ahead of Trump by a 12 point margin, as racism, coronavirus, and unemployment are top-of-mind for 2020 voters

A new Fox News poll published on Thursday asked if the 2020 election were today who would be their preference: The poll found that voters would select Democrat Joe Biden over Donald Trump 50% to 38%.
According to the poll, Biden has been able to widen his lead against Trump compared to a Fox News poll conducted last month, which put Biden ahead of Trump by 48% to 40%.

Racism, unemployment, and concerns about coronavirus are top-of-mind for voters, the poll shows. The poll also suggested that the preference for Biden over Trump among respondents had less to do with enthusiasm for Biden's policies and more to do with a determination to cut Trump off from a second term in office.

The only chance Democrats have of winning in November is if the American Government completely de-legitimatizes and destroys the voting process by allowing mail in voting.

At that point, nothing will matter anymore and the only politicians ever being elected from either side will be the puppets the multi-national corporations that really run shit want to see in power.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Sure. Fake polls. Flawed methodology.

Clinton was a 90% chance to win.

Trumpworld Fears Its ‘Nightmare Scenario’ Is Coming True

some of his top political advisers are growing increasingly concerned that the president won’t be able to dig himself out of the hole he’s made for himself.

The polls in 2016 only paid attention to the popular vote, which in the end, Hillary won by three million votes. So in that sense the polls suggesting she would win got the numbers right.

The pollsters however did not pay enough attention to what was going on in individual states, battle ground states. That is where the mistake was made. Now they are closely monitoring the battle ground states and Trumps fucked.
