I realized that there appeared to be no common thread where the M$M is examined for the lies it has promulgated. Let me begin with a defector from the NYT

Quote:

Bari Weiss quits New York Times after bullying by colleagues over views: 'They have called me a Nazi and a racist'

Her resignation letter said 'the lessons that ought to have followed the (2016) election...have not been learned'

I joined the paper with gratitude and optimism three years ago. I was hired with the goal of bringing in voices that would not otherwise appear in your pages: first-time writers, centrists, conservatives and others who would not naturally think of The Times as their home. The reason for this effort was clear: The paper’s failure to anticipate the outcome of the 2016 election meant that it didn’t have a firm grasp of the country it covers. Dean Baquet and others have admitted as much on various occasions. The priority in Opinion was to help redress that critical shortcoming.

I was honored to be part of that effort, led by James Bennet. I am proud of my work as a writer and as an editor. Among those I helped bring to our pages: the Venezuelan dissident Wuilly Arteaga; the Iranian chess champion Dorsa Derakhshani; and the Hong Kong Christian democrat Derek Lam. Also: Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Masih Alinejad, Zaina Arafat, Elna Baker, Rachael Denhollander, Matti Friedman, Nick Gillespie, Heather Heying, Randall Kennedy, Julius Krein, Monica Lewinsky, Glenn Loury, Jesse Singal, Ali Soufan, Chloe Valdary, Thomas Chatterton Williams, Wesley Yang, and many others.

But the lessons that ought to have followed the election—lessons about the importance of understanding other Americans, the necessity of resisting tribalism, and the centrality of the free exchange of ideas to a democratic society—have not been learned. Instead, a new consensus has emerged in the press, but perhaps especially at this paper: that truth isn’t a process of collective discovery, but an orthodoxy already known to an enlightened few whose job is to inform everyone else.

Twitter is not on the masthead of The New York Times. But Twitter has become its ultimate editor. As the ethics and mores of that platform have become those of the paper, the paper itself has increasingly become a kind of performance space. Stories are chosen and told in a way to satisfy the narrowest of audiences, rather than to allow a curious public to read about the world and then draw their own conclusions. I was always taught that journalists were charged with writing the first rough draft of history. Now, history itself is one more ephemeral thing molded to fit the needs of a predetermined narrative.

My own forays into Wrongthink have made me the subject of constant bullying by colleagues who disagree with my views. They have called me a Nazi and a racist; I have learned to brush off comments about how I’m “writing about the Jews again.” Several colleagues perceived to be friendly with me were badgered by coworkers. My work and my character are openly demeaned on company-wide Slack channels where masthead editors regularly weigh in. There, some coworkers insist I need to be rooted out if this company is to be a truly “inclusive” one, while others post ax emojis next to my name. Still other New York Times employees publicly smear me as a liar and a bigot on Twitter with no fear that harassing me will be met with appropriate action. They never are.

There are terms for all of this: unlawful discrimination, hostile work environment, and constructive discharge. I’m no legal expert. But I know that this is wrong.

I do not understand how you have allowed this kind of behavior to go on inside your company in full view of the paper’s entire staff and the public. And I certainly can’t square how you and other Times leaders have stood by while simultaneously praising me in private for my courage. Showing up for work as a centrist at an American newspaper should not require bravery.

Part of me wishes I could say that my experience was unique. But the truth is that intellectual curiosity—let alone risk-taking—is now a liability at The Times. Why edit something challenging to our readers, or write something bold only to go through the numbing process of making it ideologically kosher, when we can assure ourselves of job security (and clicks) by publishing our 4000th op-ed arguing that Donald Trump is a unique danger to the country and the world? And so self-censorship has become the norm.

What rules that remain at The Times are applied with extreme selectivity. If a person’s ideology is in keeping with the new orthodoxy, they and their work remain unscrutinized. Everyone else lives in fear of the digital thunderdome. Online venom is excused so long as it is directed at the proper targets.

Op-eds that would have easily been published just two years ago would now get an editor or a writer in serious trouble, if not fired. If a piece is perceived as likely to inspire backlash internally or on social media, the editor or writer avoids pitching it. If she feels strongly enough to suggest it, she is quickly steered to safer ground. And if, every now and then, she succeeds in getting a piece published that does not explicitly promote progressive causes, it happens only after every line is carefully massaged, negotiated and caveated.

It took the paper two days and two jobs to say that the Tom Cotton op-ed “fell short of our standards.” We attached an editor’s note on a travel story about Jaffa shortly after it was published because it “failed to touch on important aspects of Jaffa’s makeup and its history.” But there is still none appended to Cheryl Strayed’s fawning interview with the writer Alice Walker, a proud anti-Semite who believes in lizard Illuminati.

The paper of record is, more and more, the record of those living in a distant galaxy, one whose concerns are profoundly removed from the lives of most people. This is a galaxy in which, to choose just a few recent examples, the Soviet space program is lauded for its “diversity”; the doxxing of teenagers in the name of justice is condoned; and the worst caste systems in human history includes the United States alongside Nazi Germany.

Even now, I am confident that most people at The Times do not hold these views. Yet they are cowed by those who do. Why? Perhaps because they believe the ultimate goal is righteous. Perhaps because they believe that they will be granted protection if they nod along as the coin of our realm—language—is degraded in service to an ever-shifting laundry list of right causes. Perhaps because there are millions of unemployed people in this country and they feel lucky to have a job in a contracting industry.

Or perhaps it is because they know that, nowadays, standing up for principle at the paper does not win plaudits. It puts a target on your back. Too wise to post on Slack, they write to me privately about the “new McCarthyism” that has taken root at the paper of record.

All this bodes ill, especially for independent-minded young writers and editors paying close attention to what they’ll have to do to advance in their careers. Rule One: Speak your mind at your own peril. Rule Two: Never risk commissioning a story that goes against the narrative. Rule Three: Never believe an editor or publisher who urges you to go against the grain. Eventually, the publisher will cave to the mob, the editor will get fired or reassigned, and you’ll be hung out to dry.

For these young writers and editors, there is one consolation. As places like The Times and other once-great journalistic institutions betray their standards and lose sight of their principles, Americans still hunger for news that is accurate, opinions that are vital, and debate that is sincere. I hear from these people every day. “An independent press is not a liberal ideal or a progressive ideal or a democratic ideal. It’s an American ideal,” you said a few years ago. I couldn’t agree more. America is a great country that deserves a great newspaper.

None of this means that some of the most talented journalists in the world don’t still labor for this newspaper. They do, which is what makes the illiberal environment especially heartbreaking. I will be, as ever, a dedicated reader of their work. But I can no longer do the work that you brought me here to do—the work that Adolph Ochs described in that famous 1896 statement: “to make of the columns of The New York Times a forum for the consideration of all questions of public importance, and to that end to invite intelligent discussion from all shades of opinion.”

Ochs’s idea is one of the best I’ve encountered. And I’ve always comforted myself with the notion that the best ideas win out. But ideas cannot win on their own. They need a voice. They need a hearing. Above all, they must be backed by people willing to live by them.

Sincerely,

Bari

And then there is Dr Rochelle Guiterrez who believes that "all math is political".

Really?

Teaching maths perpetuates white privilege, says university professor

'On many levels, mathematics itself operates as Whiteness. Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as White'

A university professor has claimed teaching maths perpetuates "unearned" white privilege.

Rochelle Gutierrez, from the University of Illinois, urged her colleagues to be aware of the "politics that mathematics brings" in a new anthology directed at teachers.

Titled “Building Support for Scholarly Practices in Mathematics Methods", Ms Gutierrez argues a focus on Pythagorean theorem and pi feed into the idea that maths was developed by the Greeks and Europeans.

"On many levels, mathematics itself operates as Whiteness. Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as White," she wrote, according to Campus Reform.

“Are we really that smart just because we do mathematics?”

She also believes society's focus on maths as a key skill can perpetuate discrimination against minorities.

"If one is not viewed as mathematical, there will always be a sense of inferiority that can be summoned," she wrote.

The Smithsonian wants us to believe that hard work, deferred gratification, and planning for the future is "whiteness" and should be avoided

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture has a little-known but controversial section on “whiteness” that is creating a stir on Twitter.

The museum’s online description of the exhibit was tweeted out on Wednesday by Byron York, chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner.

“The National Museum of African American History & Culture wants to make you aware of certain signs of whiteness: Individualism, hard work, objectivity, the nuclear family, progress, respect for authority, delayed gratification, more,” York tweeted.

In an Examiner opinion piece on Thursday, York pointed out the oddity of so many universally positive attributes being ascribed to “whiteness.”

“Most of the attributes listed seem to be a recipe for success for anyone,” he wrote.

“Certainly millions of black Americans work hard every day, respect individual effort, plan for the future, are polite to others, and so on. It seems odd to attribute that to ‘whiteness,’ as opposed to, say, the everyday values of trying to lead a successful life.

“Yet according to the National Museum of African American History & Culture, ‘whiteness’ it is.”

ANOTHER DEFECTOR

MSNBC producer resigns from network with scathing letter: They block 'diversity of thought' and 'amplify fringe voices'
Ariana Pekary said important facts and studies about the coronavirus would 'get buried'
By Joseph A. Wulfsohn | Fox News

A former MSNBC producer wrote a scathing open letter explaining why she recently left the cable news network.

"July 24th was my last day at MSNBC. I don’t know what I’m going to do next exactly but I simply couldn’t stay there anymore," Ariana Pekary wrote on her personal website. "My colleagues are very smart people with good intentions. The problem is the job itself. It forces skilled journalists to make bad decisions on a daily basis."

Pekary provided a number of examples of why she wanted to leave the cable news network.

"It’s possible that I’m more sensitive to the editorial process due to my background in public radio, where no decision I ever witnessed was predicated on how a topic or guest would 'rate.' The longer I was at MSNBC, the more I saw such choices — it’s practically baked in to the editorial process – and those decisions affect news content every day," Pekary said. "Likewise, it’s taboo to discuss how the ratings scheme distorts content, or it’s simply taken for granted, because everyone in the commercial broadcast news industry is doing the exact same thing. But behind closed doors, industry leaders will admit the damage that’s being done."

She then quoted someone she described a "successful and insightful TV veteran" who said: "We are a cancer and there is no cure... But if you could find a cure, it would change the world.”

Pekary, who described herself as an "integral member" of the MSNBC primetime show "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell," used the "cancer" analogy to describe MSNBC's coverage of the coronavirus outbreak and the racial unrest in recent months, writing: "The model blocks diversity of thought and content because the networks have incentive to amplify fringe voices and events, at the expense of others… all because it pumps up the ratings."

"This cancer risks human lives, even in the middle of a pandemic. The primary focus quickly became what Donald Trump was doing (poorly) to address the crisis, rather than the science itself. As new details have become available about antibodies, a vaccine, or how COVID actually spreads, producers still want to focus on the politics. Important facts or studies get buried," Pekary explained. "This cancer risks our democracy, even in the middle of a presidential election. Any discussion about the election usually focuses on Donald Trump, not Joe Biden, a repeat offense from 2016 (Trump smothers out all other coverage). Also important is to ensure citizens can vote by mail this year, but I’ve watched that topic get ignored or 'killed' numerous times."

Pekary claimed that network producers would "occasionally" choose topics or stories regardless of how they would rate, "but that is the exception, not the rule" and that the industry's structure and "the desire to charge more money for commercials" in addition to "ratings bonuses that top-tier decision-makers earn" prevent the network from pursuing stories she believes the audiences should be informed about.

"I’ve even heard producers deny their role as journalists. A very capable senior producer once said: 'Our viewers don’t really consider us the news. They come to us for comfort,'" Pekary wrote. "Now maybe we can’t really change the inherently broken structure of broadcast news, but I know for certain that it won’t change unless we actually face it, in public, and at least try to change it."

She concluded her letter by telling her readers to reach out to her, writing "More than ever, I’m craving a full and civil discourse."

Bari Weiss, the former New York Times op-ed staff editor who recently resigned from the newspaper with her own letter, praised Pekary's "integrity" on social media.

MSNBC did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

According to her personal site, Pekary joined MSNBC in 2013 as part of launching Alec Baldwin's short-lived show. She previously worked for NPR

That's a good example of tech bias because IT'S TRUE that children are "almost immune" from Covid-19. They seem to have T-cell immunity that works better than the antibody pathway. For some... and this is yet to be teased out how many... the T- call immune response kicks in just as the virus begins unpacking, so the virus never even gains a toehold in their bodies. But for whatever reason, kids rarely get sick from the virus and seem to clear it faster.

So, how is this misinformation?

REALLY?

Mentally Ill Professor Invented Bisexual Native American Persona Who 'Died' Of COVID-19

A former assistant professor who was denied tenure at Vanderbilt University for sending threats to colleagues was busted running a years-long 'hoax' - in which she invented an online persona on Twitter claiming to be an oppressed bisexual, Native American geologist.

BethAnn McLaughlin created the persona, @Sciencing_Bi, in 2016 while working as an assistant professor of neurology at Vanderbilt. After being denied tenure in 2017, McLaughlin left the university in July of 2018 - going on to found MeTooSTEM, a nonprofit organization aimed at advising scientists who are the victims of sexual harassment.

But McLaughlin was doing much more than harassing coworkers and failing to earn promotions.

According to the New York Times:

The anonymous account, @Sciencing_Bi, was an active participant in the corner of Science Twitter that frequently discusses issues of sexual misconduct in the sciences. It claimed on at least one occasion to have grown up in Alabama, to have “fled the south because of their oppression of queer folk,” and to have attended Catholic school. The account began to pointedly make reference to being Native American and, earlier this year, began to identify as Hopi.

Then, McLaughlin decided to kill off @Sciencing_Bi, announcing in April that she had contracted coronavirus - which she publicly blamed on Arizona State University, which she says made her teach in a lecture hall with 200 people.

Last Friday, BethAnn McLaughlin announced that @Sciencing_Bi had died of the virus.

Then it gets really weird (via HotAir.com)

After her “death” BethAnn McLaughlin suggested that she’d been in an intimate relationship with the woman known only as @Sciencing_Bi. “Looking at her side of the bed and crying. Just a lot of crying.”

this is one of my big hangups. if SB was a real and autonomous human, she was allegedly interacting with MTS in a client/support capacity, and should not have been anywhere near BA’s bed, much less had an established “side.” pic.twitter.com/LkqDEuC5hM
— Isabel Ott (@IsabelOtt) August 2, 2020

But pretty quickly McLaughlin’s story began to really fall apart as people noticed that details @Sciencing_Bi had claimed about Arizona State University were false, e.g. she didn’t know the correct dates for the school’s closing. Also, looking back over her tweets it seemed that she had only referenced her Native American ancestry fairly recently.

Here’s some more weirdness on the Indigenous ID claims, shared by a friend. Prior to 2020, their tone re: “Native Americans” indicated ID’ing as exterior to that group; first claims of Indigeneity seem to have arisen this spring/summer and seem...fishy to me. pic.twitter.com/0H7kwMIpbC
— Isabel Ott (@IsabelOtt) August 2, 2020

What's more, people caught McLaughlin using stock photos.

SB tweeted this photo about arriving in Nashville to meet with BA. This photo is a generic pic from an airline's website. It couldn't have been taken by her https://t.co/SL6t1cbt1v pic.twitter.com/rYWHpw6YNi
— Fieldwork Initiative (@MeTooFieldwork) August 2, 2020

In the end, Twitter suspended McLaughlin's personal account and her @Sciencing_Bi persona, while ASU told BuzzFeed that they had no record of any such person.

As the questions swirled, the account settings were switched to private. Then late on Sunday, Twitter suspended both McLaughlin’s and the @Sciencing_Bi accounts.

“We’re aware of this activity and have suspended these accounts for violating our spam and platform manipulation policies,” a Twitter spokesperson told BuzzFeed News by email. The company declined to comment on whether it had any forensic evidence linking the two accounts to the same device or person.

A spokesperson from ASU told BuzzFeed News they had no record of any faculty matching @Sciencing_Bi’s description. And other parts of @Sciencing_Bi’s accounts did not match up: The university closed its campus in March, switching to online instruction, and did not implement salary cuts.

“We have been looking into this for the last 24 hours and cannot verify any connection with the university,” ASU spokesperson Katie Paquet told BuzzFeed News by email on Sunday. “We have been in touch with several deans and faculty members and no one can identify the account or who might be behind it.” -BuzzFeed

Finally, McLaughlin admitted to being behind the anonymous account.

"I take full responsibility for my involvement in creating the @sciencing_bi Twitter account. My actions are inexcusable. I apologize without reservation to all the people I hurt," she said in a statement to the New York Times, adding that she's aware she needs mental health treatment.

"As I’ve reflected on my actions the last few days, it’s become clear to me that I need mental health treatment, which I’m pursuing now."

"Take a walk around downtown Seattle. You will be shocked by a shuttered, dystopian city and made angry by the inaction and ineptness of its political leadership. It is simply beyond words.

...Block after block of boarded up stores, restaurants, and other buildings. A city in lockdown and afraid.

... A boarded up central core of a major U.S. city was being left to the homeless, drug dealers, and security guards. Even the most notorious, crime-ridden corner of the city had no police. The streets of the city had become a fearful abandoned place."

... Violent individuals and groups have hidden within protest groups, attempting to destroy businesses both to deliver a political message of fear and to loot their contents. Dozens of police have been seriously injured by bottles and fireworks, or partially blinded by lasers. Even in my neighborhood, graffiti calling for the killing of police have been sprayed at a prominent location. No city can remain healthy if such anti-social activities are allowed to continue unchecked."

This kind of hysteria tells me that the Democrats are desperate. They've thrown everything they can at Trump, from false accusations and forged documents to trivial and personal criticism to harping about his handlingof Covid-19, and it seems that (a) nothing has stuck and (b) nobody is enthused about the Biden/Harris ticket. (I'm shocked! Shocked! I tell you!)

I have a hint for the Democratic Party: how about you start representing the people you left behind? You might manage to find some votes there

But then, you'd have to cross your big donors ...

College director: 'Every white person in this country is racist'

*In one episode, a guest claimed that every white person in the U.S. is racist because they benefit from the structure of racism.

*In another episode, the host listed three “indicators of white supremacy culture."

Pacific University staff psychologist Dr. Shirley Ley

Who is btw Asian
Quote:

is hosting a weekly webinar series called "Rising from the Margins." Ley said the platform is “dedicated to those who have been perceived as inferior or less worthy” due to their background.

In Episode 10 "The Intersection of Race, Class, and Disability," Ley spoke with the Director of Accessible Education at Willamette University Sue Minder. During that episode, uploaded to the university's official YouTube channel on July 22, Minder said, “Every white person in this country is racist" because they “benefit from the structure of racism.”

Relevant portion begins around 12:40

WATCH:

When asked to confront privileges, she said that most people usually respond with “I’m not a racist, I would never use a racial slur.”

“I think the first step is we get over it,” said Minder of that reaction.

“Stop trying to pretend we don’t have privileges of some sort, because most of us do have unearned advantages,” said Minder.

In episode 11 "White Supremacy Work Culture," Ley talked about the idea that “whiteness is the supreme standard by which all peoples of culture are measured.”

You should see how the Chinese measure other cultures!
I take that back: To the Chinese, there ARE no other cultures!

Quote:

“It is important for us, particularly racialized peoples,
What are "racialized peoples"?
Quote:

to understand how every single day of our existence is influenced and infiltrated by white supremacy ideals,” said Ley.

She went on to list three “indicators of white supremacy culture.”

They are "perfectionism," which she called "the need to get things done right all the time;" the "sense of urgency," which she called "the idea that things should have been done yesterday;" and "quantity over quality,"
which she said is "only focusing on parts of your life that are directed towards producing measurable goals."

The webinar currently has more than a dozen episodes. Some other available webinar episodes include “Racial Microaggressions,” “The POC Label,” and “Deconstructing the Model Minority Stereotype.”

In other words, being "white" means doing the job right, doing it quickly, and being productive. Being nonwhite means being sloppy, slow, and lazy?

Yanno, I understand that people DO react to others based on things like their sex, height, color, age, fitness etc. People who have managed to walk on boths sides of a category ... whites passing as blacks, transgender men/women, blacks passing as whites .... will tell you that there is a palpable difference in how you're treated.

It shouldn't be that way. But all of this whinging and hurt feelings are stupid.

Democrats are terrified right now.

They've halfway destroyed the country and they still can't beat Trump.

And at one point, once all of this finally settles down, we're going to have to have a good long talk about the overreaction to COVID and the many ways in which it was the catalyst to bringing us to where we are at today.

A recent job listing for a New York Times Russia Correspondent ... reads as follows:

Vladimir Putin’s Russia remains one of the biggest stories in the world.

It sends out hit squads armed with nerve agents against its enemies, most recently the opposition leader Aleksei Navalny. It has its cyber agents sow chaos and disharmony in the West to tarnish its democratic systems, while promoting its faux version of democracy. It has deployed private military contractors around the globe to secretly spread its influence. At home, its hospitals are filling up fast with Covid patients as its president hides out in his villa.

If that sounds like a place you want to cover, then we have good news: We will have an opening for a new correspondent as Andy Higgins takes over as our next Eastern Europe Bureau Chief early next year.

There has been so much idiocy among academics it's been hard to keep up. I haven't posted much of it, but had to toss in these examples to remind people that the "thinking class" is filled with fools

Quote:

Law prof advocates for Black Americans votes to 'count twice'
A Washington and Lee University assistant law professor advocated for the votes of Black Americans to "count twice."

The professor said that doing so would be a "simple, low-cost way" to "address systemic racism."

Jon Street | Managing Editor
Sunday, December 20, 2020 9:16 PM

Washington and Lee University assistant law professor Brandon Hasbrouck says Black Americans and Native Americans should be able to vote twice as a cheaper form of reparations.

Claiming that "Black votes in this country are worth less than White votes,"

Not if you have fair elections
Quote:

Hasbrouck wrote in an op-ed for The Nation, "Joe Biden won the Electoral College because Black voters in Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia turned out in significant numbers. But even with overwhelming Black support—a 94 percent of Detroit voted for Biden!—
doubtful
Quote:

the outcomes in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania were worryingly close."
OH, MY! People didn't vote the way he wanted!

Quote:

Hasbrouck said these "reparations" should extend to Native Americans as well.

"Slavery is rightly called America’s original sin, but so too was the United States’ genocidal seizure of land from its original inhabitants. Various legal forms of disenfranchisement have applied to them," he said.

The appropriate response to the "core problem" of "structurally racist political institutions" like the electoral college, he said, is to "implement vote reparations by double-counting ballots cast by all Black residents."

Washington and Lee University promoted Hasbrouck's op-ed on its official website.

"One of the largest objections to monetary reparations is the impracticality of implementing them on a scale that would meaningfully address the injustices. Vote reparations, in contrast, would be a simple, low-cost way to begin to make amends,' Hasbrouck wrote.

"Because White votes currently count more than Black ones,

A premise he hasn't demonstrated
Quote:

double-counting Black votes would restore electoral balance. Vote reparations would be a giant step toward remedying our nation’s long history of denying and devaluing Black votes," he continued.

"To address systemic racism, we must transform how we choose our government. Even if vote reparations aren’t instituted, Black voters will keep tirelessly dragging our states toward a more perfect union. But just imagine our country if our votes counted twice,' he concluded.

This is not the first time that Hasbrouck has proposed such a radical idea.

In October, he penned an op-ed for the Richmond Times-Dispatch advocating to "pack the court" with "color-conscious justices."

"To date, commentators have focused their arguments on retaliatory politics rather than redressing the court’s chronic anti-Blackness," he wrote. "We cannot pretend that court-packing alone will lead to a healthy justice system that values Black lives."

Claiming that "even supposedly progressive justices, including the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Justice Stephen Breyer, "frequently have failed on issues of racial justice," Hasbrouck wrote that "courts must account for the differences in the experience of Black and White Americans with police, prosecutors and juries if we mean to even approach the promise — as yet unkept — of equal justice under law."

"If we ever are to realize the goals of Reconstruction and its constitutional reforms, we must have a Supreme Court prepared to advance color-conscious constitutionalism," he continued. "A 'liberal' court would be worth very little if it also did not believe that Black lives matter. I advocate packing the court with color-conscious justices not as a means of settling a political score from Merrick Garland’s appointment, but to bring long overdue justice to America."

As Campus Reform previously reported, Hasbrouck was among the faculty members at Washington and Lee University who called for the school to drop former Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from its name.

Cornell University law professor William Jacobson responded to Hasbrouck's proposal, telling Campus Reform, "the proposal to count Black votes twice is preposterous on its face, but reveals a more pernicious leftist pathology. The proposal mixes a variety of leftist narratives of the United States as irredeemably racist, including the disputed claim that the electoral college was devised to help slave states, and in a non-sequitur, proposes racial bias as the solution."

"The concept of using racial discrimination as a solution to past discrimination is at the core of the 'anti-racist' activism. But racial discrimination never is right, and never makes society better," Jacobson added.

PUBERTY-BLOCKERS FOR EVERY CHILD! (BECAUSE THEY CAN'T DECIDE IF THEY WANT TO BE A GIRL OR A BOY OR A PONY OR A UNICORN UNTIL THE GROW UP)

Quote:

LGBT Activist Calls For All Children To Be Put On Puberty Blockers
Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

An LGBT activist has called for ALL children to be put on puberty blockers until a decision is made as to what gender they are going to be.

Yes, really.

Zachary Antolak began as a gay man but now identifies as a lesbian woman named Zinnia Jones and is in a polyamorous relationship with another lesbian named Heather and a ‘trans woman’ named Penny.

What better example of obvious mental stability to decide which chemicals to bombard your children with?

“If children can’t consent to puberty blockers which pause any permanent changes even with the relevant professional evaluation, how can they consent to the permanent and irreversible changes that come with their own puberty with no professional evaluation whatsoever?” tweeted Jones.

If children can't consent to puberty blockers which pause any permanent changes even with the relevant professional evaluation, how can they consent to the permanent and irreversible changes that come with their own puberty with no professional evaluation whatsoever?
— Zinnia, adult demon female (@ZJemptv) December 2, 2020

An inability to offer informed consent or understand the long-term consequences is actually an argument for putting every single cis and trans person on puberty blockers until they acquire that ability.

What's wrong with zerohedge. I think this needs its own thread. SIG pulls most of her information that she posts here from this blog and stupidly defends it as a reputable source. As she continues to do so I will regenerate this thread to remind all it is a corrupted blog designed to create havoc rather than informing.

Below are the names of those behind zero hedge. Don't miss what I've highlighted in red below. This folks is why comrade troll SIG loves to quote zero hedge.

In addition, Lokey said he faced constant pressure to frame stories in-line with a particular world-view, which he described as “Russia=good. Obama=idiot. Bashar al-Assad=benevolent leader. John Kerry=dunce. Vladmir Putin=greatest leader in the history of statecraft.”

All of this matches SIG's playbook here and Putin's globally; exactly.

The men behind zero hedge

Colin Lokey, a 32-year-old former Seeking Alpha director

Daniel Ivandjiiski, a 37-year-old Bulgarian-born former hedge fund employee who was barred for insider trading in 2008

Tim Backshall, a 45-year-old credit derivatives strategist
Despite its populist tone, Lokey told Bloomberg he recently left Zero Hedge because he didn’t see eye-to-eye with the others when it came to editorial vision.

“Zero Hedge ceased to serve that public service years ago,” Lokey said. “They care what generates page views. Clicks. Money.”

Lokey claims Zero Hedge’s focus on traffic and revenue is hypocritical, but Ivandjiiski sees things differently.

Finally, Zero Hedge addressed the accusations of systematic bias in its content.

“We are certainly ok with being the object of other’s conspiracy theories, in this case completely false ones since we have never been in contact with anyone in Russia, or the US, or any government for that matter,” Zero Hedge says.

The site claims it has never accepted a dime of funding outside of advertising revenue and that Lokey was never pressured about how to frame his articles or editorialized.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/zero-hedge-unmasked-theres-more-1427301
65.html

According to the Bloomberg article, three men have been churning out all of the content at Zero Hedge, using the joint pseudonym “Tyler Durden” from the Brad Pitt film “Fight Club.” The 1999 cult film, according to Rolling Stone, is “about being young, male and powerless against the pacifying drug of consumerism. It’s about solitude, despair and bottled-up rage.” That ethos is frequently on display at Zero Hedge.

The three “Tyler Durdens” outed by Bloomberg reporters are Colin Lokey, who has now left Zero Hedge in a fit of pique and is responsible for handing over the internal chat sessions from Zero Hedge on traffic-building strategies and other matters. Bloomberg says “the other two men are Daniel Ivandjiiski, 37, the Bulgarian-born former analyst long reputed to be behind the site, and Tim Backshall, 45, a well-known credit derivatives strategist.”

The article notes that “Ivandjiiski has a multimillion-dollar mansion in Mahwah, N.J., and Backshall lives in a plush San Francisco suburb,” suggesting these are “not exactly reflections” of the anti-capitalism reflected in the moniker “Tyler Durden.”

AND FINALLY... OLD PEOPLE SHOULD NOT GET THE VACCINE FIRST BECAUSE THEY ARE "TOO WHITE"

Quote:

Harald Schmidt, an expert in ethics and health policy at the University of Pennsylvania, said that it is reasonable to put essential workers ahead of older adults, given their risks, and that they are disproportionately minorities. “Older populations are whiter, ” Dr. Schmidt said. “Society is structured in a way that enables them to live longer. Instead of giving additional health benefits to those who already had more of them, we can start to level the playing field a bit.”

But to protect older people more at risk, he called on the C.D.C. committee to also integrate the agency’s own “social vulnerability index.”

The index includes 15 measures derived from the census, such as overcrowded housing, lack of vehicle access and poverty, to determine how urgently a community needs health support, with the goal of reducing inequities.

In a new analysis of the states’ preliminary vaccine plans, Dr. Schmidt found that at least 18 states intended to apply the index. Tennessee, for one, has indicated that it will reserve some of its early allotments for disadvantaged communities.

Still, some people believe it is wrong to give racial and socioeconomic equity more weight than who is most likely to die.

No comrade. ZeroHedge depends on disgruntled internet trolls who don't research but instead look for material that makes claims that match their bias beliefs. I offer as evidence your affinity for being wrong, and never being able to reexamine and modify your beliefs to coincide with the facts.

Only other wrongheaded trolls go along with it. Though even they know you to be a Russian propagandist. Below I quote a publisher for ZeroHedge.

"In addition, Lokey said he faced constant pressure to frame stories in-line with a particular world-view, which he described as “Russia=good. Obama=idiot. Bashar al-Assad=benevolent leader. John Kerry=dunce. Vladmir Putin=greatest leader in the history of statecraft.”

Go back under your rock comrade.

THUGR, either what ZH published is a true fact, or it isn't.

I don't pay attention to everything that ZH publishes because it's often irrelevant, or opinion (even then, they link to the original writer)

But obviously, they are accurately quoting this LGBTQ activist, because you can go back to it's original tweets, which are found in multiple websites.

So, what's your problem? Is it with their content selection?

Sorry, they don't parrot corporate M$M or corporate social media, which has a very narrow range of allowed content.

In order to get the broadest possible picture of what is going on in the world you have to look at the broadest possible range of sources, even those you know are lying. That's why I check in with the M$M regularly.

Try to get out of your cozy bubble. You ain't gonna find truth there. There's a real wide world out there. Try sticking your nose into it once in a while

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I've been watching NBC and ABC news literally every day for many years, because I want to know what is allowable news.

And what I noticed recently was NBC taking a sharp turn out of accurate, if severely truncated, reporting, into blatant mis-reporting. It started out with misreporting that the Pfizer vaccine controls the transmission of COVID-19 (Pfizer noted weeks ago that they never studied the issue); on up to the latest example when they quoted BELLINGCAT! - of all the stupid sites to quote - in order to reinflate the Navalny story.

And, the very next day, just like clockwork, CNN 'reports' that "Navalny was poisoned through his underpants". snicker

EXPECT TO SEE MUCH MUCH MORE ABOUT NAVALNY IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!

But if that fails to take off, expect to see a whole lot about the 'Russian' responsibility for the SolarWinds bad software and hack 'recently' discovered, and how Russia MUST be punished.

Or, Russian sports doping.

Or, Azerbaijan.

Or, spin the wheel and pick your topic, RUSSIA!!!RUSSIA!!!RUSSIA!!! will be in the headlines for months.

BUT DON'T EXPECT TO SEE ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT CHINA.

If democrats* don't do any different, how are they any better?

And when Biden* fails to keep his promises - or even promote them - I'll be happy to laugh at his skinny saggy ass parading all over town in his New Clothes™.

The fucking balls of these people to do that to a sitting US President.

The people cheering this on better hope that Biden* never grows a pair of balls and steps out of line of the Narrative.

They'll probably just terminate him outright.

The first draft of anything is shit. :)

And Obama directly ordered the killing of Americans and foreign civilians in a secret CIA drone war, so what does that make HIM, huh?

Jeezus, you're one hysterical nut-job.
