Have you ever been on a jury? Let me guess your answer: Never. When I'm on jury duty, despite all the other people in Texas who deserve to be charged with the same crime but aren't on trial, I don't complain about the defense/prosecution lawyers being biased for/against this particular accused. Those other people just aren't on trial. The Democrats aren't on trial. That's why the article didn't include "a single Democrat on the list of people they were complaining about."

There were 142 people indicted in the last three GOP presidential administrations while there were only 2 under the last three Democrats. The 2 were during Clinton's time, unsurprisingly. Trump hasn't been indicted because he can't, at least while President. But Trump won't be President for Life. Then will come his reckoning in court.

Trump Is Taking Down Names as Republicans Begin Jumping Ship on His ‘Totally Off the Rails’ Campaign

The president believes prominent conservatives will throw him under the bus in the event he loses his bid for re-election.

Trump has lost some of the political instincts that made him both unorthodox and effective in 2016. Back then, Trump closed the campaign by largely keeping to script, doing rallies, and posting only mundane tweets. I do. I wonder about the stochastic nature of "justice" all of the time. Since I knew someone falsely accused of murder, I got to see how the "justice" system works. The detective had specious evidence against the accused which was contradicted by an alibi provided by his wife and stepchildren plus the fact that the accused wasn't gay (it was a gay murder). But all the police wanted to do was clear their books (they're rated on % cleared), so they didn't bother to look for anyone else. All the prosecutor wanted to do was win their case (they're rated on % of wins) so THEY never admitted exculpatory evidence. The system is set up to railroad the accused. Fortunately, the actual murderer left shred if skin (DNA) at the scene, so when DNA was finally analyzed ...six months later, by which time the accused lost his job bc he couldn't make bail ... the accused was finally let go.

THE REAL MURDERER OTOH WAS NEVER FOUND.

In fact, come to think of it, I know two other people falsely accused by the police (for moving violations), and one person who SHOULD have been in jail (for repeated drunk driving causing accidents ... but he was a rich white judge) but wasn't.

I think we have EXTREMELY clear evidence that the DOJ/FBI and media are biased against Republicans, because there is equally clear evidence that (1) the FIB made up shit against Trump and (2) the media was all too happy to spread the lies, while (3) all the institutions were busy covering up real evidence of real crimes by democrats. For example, the whistleblowers who came forward from inside the Clinton Foundation to testify about the crooked bookkeeping and pay-to-play operations, and Biden bragging that he extorted Ukraine to keep his son on the Burisma Board.

So as an aside, when I read about "early release" for "nonviolent" offenders, or "three stikes" laws or other changes to how the convicted are to be sentenced or treated, I always keep in mind that (1) justice is not equal [something YOU should already know] and a fair number of guilty are never even arrested (2) about 1% of the convicted are actually innocent, meanwhile (3) of the remainder, many were convicted on lesser charges than they actually deserved because the DA wanted to win their case.
So people who should have been convicted of (say) first degree murder are convicted of negligent homicide or some such.

I flew with competent helicopter pilots, but the very last two I flew with in Vietnam were different. I've never had insomnia. I've always been able to fall asleep in about 2 minutes. My children and grandchildren have twenty years of video showing me falling asleep in the easy chair in front of the TV.
