A full 50 percent of President Trump’s supporters now believe the bizarre, made-up claims about an international ring of child sex traffickers at the core of the extremist conspiracy theory known as QAnon, according to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll — a disturbing sign of how susceptible partisans have become to bogus stories in an age of rampant polarization and unbridled social media.

A full 100% of democrats believed the RUSSIA!RUSSIA! conspiracy theory, the "quid pro quo" conspiracy theory, the "Russia paid bounties in Afghanistan" conspiracy theory, that Obama was some sort of progressive saint ... and democrat politicians are still repeating them today! And those are just the whoppers!

If I were to include the "Kavanaugh was a teenage rapist and cover-up" conspiracy theory, the "mostly peaceful riots" hoax, the "children in cages" conspiracy theory, the "Trump supports Nazis" conspiracy theory, and the rest of conspiracy theories and hoaxes, it would number in the dozens.

The latest conspiracy theory? That the Russians planted bogus laptops, despite the fact that the DNI has plainly said that the laptops do NOT contain Russian disinformation, a signed receipt with Hunter Biden's signature, contains highly personal and possibly incriminating photos/videos, and the fact that Hunter Biden himself has not denied the story.

Seriously. Both sides are gullible, but perhaps Dems more than most.

FBI and DOJ do not believe Hunter Biden laptop part of Russian disinformation campaign

Government officials across multiple agencies do not believe the contents on Hunter Biden's laptop are part of a foreign election interference effort.

"1) FBI & DOJ concur w/ Ratcliffe that Hunter Biden's laptop & the emails in question weren't part of a Russian disinformation campaign," Fox News producer Sean Langille tweeted Tuesday evening. "2) The FBI DOES have possession of the Hunter Biden laptop in question." He said it was first reported by Fox News's Justice Department producer Jake Gibson.

A federal law enforcement official confirmed the report with the Washington Examiner.

Since the release of some emails to the New York Post last week, many Democrats and former intelligence officials have speculated that the contents of the hard drive cannot be trusted.

So now the M$M is backing away from their conspiracy theory that it's Russian disinformation? Will corporate social media soon follow?

Quote:

"We’ve got to get the attorney general to act. He’s got to act. And he’s got to act fast. He’s got to appoint somebody. This is major corruption, and this has to be known about before the election," President Trump said on Fox & Friends Tuesday morning.

The trove of emails and photos first published by the New York Post last week contained insights into Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings, including one deal that seemed to imply a pay-off to his father.

The reporting includes an email that purportedly talks about the younger Biden setting up a meeting between a senior official at the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, where he worked, and his father while the elder Biden was vice president. The Biden campaign has denied that such a meeting took place based on "Biden’s official schedules from the time" but only as it was described in the New York Post.

So far, neither the Biden campaign nor Hunter Biden has denied any other element of the emails story, though the elder Biden has called it part of a "smear campaign." The FBI is reportedly investigating if the Hunter Biden emails stories are tied to a Russian disinformation effort, but Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said on Monday that he didn't believe the news related to the laptop and emails are connected to the Kremlin.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/fbi-and-doj-do-not-believe-hun
ter-biden-laptop-part-of-russian-disinformation-campaign/ar-BB1aeadQ

And still... the laptops that Hunter Biden refuses to deny are his and that the DNI says contains NO Russian disinformation...what's in them? Besides picture of HB with a crack pipe looking drugged out of his mind?

Quote:

Burisma hired Hunter Biden after his father was named the White House’s point man on Ukraine. He and Mr. Archer earned millions of dollars from Burisma, a Senate report released last month found.

Well, aside from business dealings with the Ukrainian firm Burisma, Hunter Biden was pursuing big business deals in China worth $1.5 billion with a Chinese energy firm, while Joe Biden was VP. From other sources it's known that H Biden flew in Air Force 2 (the VP plane) to China with has dad the Vice President of the United States to set up a deal with CEFC China Energy Co. He also cozied up with an (apparently) corrupt Chinese official (who has since been disappared by the Chinese government)

It's all very much worth looking into and thinking about. MORE AT

1kiki is a Russian troll.

From the Executive Summary to Volume I of the Mueller Report

Russian Social Media Campaign

The Internet Research Agency (IRA) carried out the earliest Russian interference operations identified by the investigation—a social media campaign designed to provoke and amplify political and social discord in the United States. The IRA was based in St. Petersburg, Russia, and received binding from Russian oligarch Yevgeniy Prigozhin and companies he controlled. Prigozhin is widely reported to have ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
1(b) (7)(A), (b) (7)(E)

In mid-2014, the IRA sent employees to the United States on an intelligence-gathering mission with instructions. (the rest of the paragraph is redacted)

The IRA later used social media accounts and interest groups to sow discord in the U.S. political system through what it termed “information warfare.” The campaign evolved from a generalized program designed in 2014 and 2015 to undermine the U.S. electoral system, to a targeted operation that by early 2016 favored candidate Trump and disparaged candidate Clinton. The IRA’s operation also included the purchase of political advertisements on social media in the names of U.S. persons and entities, as well as the staging of political rallies inside the United States. To organize those rallies, IRA employees posed as U.S. grassroots entities and persons and made contact with Trump supporters and Trump Campaign officials in the United States. The investigation did not identify evidence that any U.S. persons conspired or coordinated with the IRA. Section II of this report details the Office’s investigation of the Russian social media campaign.

1kiki, please work your Russian troll magic on this paragraph from the Mueller Report:

Russian Hacking Operations
At the same time that the IRA operation began to focus on supporting candidate Trump in early 2016, the Russian government employed a second form of interference: cyber intrusions (hacking) and releases of hacked materials damaging to the Clinton Campaign. The Russian intelligence service known as the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Army (GRU) carried out these operations.

I agree with Trump, but collusion was NOT on Mueller's list of things to do. What was on his list?

1) Rod Rosenstein appointed Mueller to do a “full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election”.
https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3726408/Rosenstein-letter-a
ppointing-Mueller-special.pdf

2) Mueller found that the Russian government did interfere: “The Internet Research Agency (IRA) carried out the earliest Russian interference operations identified by the investigation—a social media campaign designed to provoke and amplify political and social discord in the United States. The IRA was based in St. Petersburg. Russia, and received funding from Russian oligarch Yevgeniy Prigozhin and companies he controlled. Prigozhin is widely reported to have ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.”

“At the same time that the IRA operation began to focus on supporting candidate Trump in early 2016. the Russian government employed a second form of interference: cyber intrusions (hacking) and releases of hacked materials damaging to the Clinton Campaign. The Russian intelligence service known as the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Army (GRU) carried out these operations.”
https://www.justice.gov/storage/report.pdf

3) Mueller’s Volume 2 said: “Our obstruction-of-justice inquiry focused on a series of actions by the President that related to the Russian-interference investigations, including the President’s conduct towards the law enforcement officials overseeing the investigations and the witnesses to relevant events.”

The conclusion was Trump is a Crook. Always has been. Always will be.

4) Trump won’t let Congress see the full Mueller Report and has taken his case to the Supreme Court.

“A little more than a year ago, special counsel Robert Mueller released his report concerning Russian interference in the 2016 election and President Donald Trump’s efforts to obstruct that investigation. Remarkably, Congress still has not seen the entire, unredacted report. The Department of Justice withheld portions of the report that concerned grand jury matters, and it has fought the release of those excerpts to Congress. Now, the Supreme Court will decide whether Congress can view the unredacted report, as centuries of precedent dictate, or whether the Trump administration can continue to obstruct Congress’ legitimate oversight request.”

An example of a Chump supporter believing ANYTHING he was told:

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani features in compromising scene in movie

Rudy Giuliani made an icky appearance in Amazon’s upcoming “Borat” sequel.

According to the Guardian, footage shows the former New York mayor and current personal lawyer to President Donald Trump reaching into his trousers while reclining on a bed in the presence of the actress playing the teenage daughter of Sacha Baron Cohen’s titular character.
www.theguardian.com/film/2020/oct/21/rudy-giuliani-faces-questions-aft
er-compromising-scene-in-new-borat-film

This is how the scene apparently went down: Billed by Cohen, in his comic “gotcha” manner, as an interview for a news show, the action moves to the bedroom of a hotel suite following a suggestion by the female interviewer that she and Giuliani repair there for a drink.

At that point, the actress playing the interviewer takes off his microphone, and he lies back, whereupon enters Borat, saying, “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.” For the record, the actress is not 15. She’s reportedly a full nine years older than that. So, at least there’s that.

Giuliani late Wednesday called the video “a complete fabrication,” and in a series of tweets threatened “much bigger dumps off of the hard drive from hell” that will allegedly implicate Joe Biden.

It was very clear about collusion.

Quote:

1 Potential Coordination: Conspiracy and Collusion
The investigation did not establish that the contacts described in Volume I, Section IV, supra, amounted to an agreement to commit any substantive violation of federal criminal law—including foreign-influence and campaign-finance laws, both of which are discussed further below. The Office therefore did not charge any individual associated with the Trump Campaign with conspiracy to commit a federal offense arising from Russia contacts, either under a specific statute or under Section 371’s offenses clause.
2 Potential Coordination: Foreign Agent Statutes (FARA and 18 U.S.C. § 951)
As a result, the Office did not charge (redacted) any other Trump Campaign official with violating FARA or Section 951, or attempting or conspiring to do so, based on contacts with the Russian government or a Russian principal.
3.Campaign Finance
... the Office decided not to pursue criminal campaign-finance charges against Trump Jr. or other campaign officials for the events culminating in the June 9 meeting. (Trump Tower)

Or, more succinctly, in the words of the Mueller report
Quote:

... the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.

That's the painful part you spent 16 months making a point of not thinking about, before you decided to spend 3 months and counting rewriting the report in your mind.

Your quote comes from Volume II, the volume that addresses obstruction.
Quote:

Volume II addresses the President’s actions towards the FBI’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election and related matters, and his actions towards the Special Counsel’s investigation. Volume II separately states its framework and the considerations that guided that investigation.
And the full VOLUME II quote about obstruction is this
Quote:

Because we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment, we did not draw ultimate conclusions about the President’s conduct. The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that would need to be resolved if we were making a traditional prosecutorial judgment. At the same time,if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.
Again, this is in regards to obstruction of justice.

Even though this is long, if you want to have a firm grasp of the reality of the Mueller Report rather than an impressionistic wishful-thinking gloss, you should try to understand what it means.

I agree with Trump, but collusion was NOT on Mueller's list of things to do. What was on his list?

Good question! What WAS on his list? From your link:
Quote:

I hereby order as follows: (a) Robert S. Mueller III is appointed [to] serve as [Special] Counsel for the United States Department of Justice. (b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation [confirmed] by then-FBI Director James 8. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including: (i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and (ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and (iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a). (c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters. (d) Sections 600.4 through 600. l 0 of Title 28 of the Code of Federal Regulations are applicable to the Special Counsel.

Sounds like Mueller was investigating what was colloquially called 'collusion' and which is shorthand for the more legal definition.

So, in the interests of correcting the re-writing of the Mueller Report, to be very clear:

Volume I addressed "collusion" and clearly found there was none that met the applicable legals standards; and

Volume II addressed "obstruction", where for legal reasons (a person can't be charged if they have no legal mechanism to defend themself) Mueller declined to reach a charging conclusion.

The issue of "golden showers" is meaningless unless it involves kompromat. Investigators have looked up and down for evidence that Trump ever got a "golden shower" in a Moscow hotel ... airflights, hotel registrations, any presence anywhere at that place and time and ... nothing.

But hey, if you believe in dates and times, I can come up with some!

On Tuesday, October 20, at approximately 8:32 PM DST, WISHY drove to her mother's house, peeked in all of the groundfloor windows, some of them twice, then sat in her car for another 7 minutes. At 8:49 PM she left and drove home by the most direct route.

See?? Dates! Times! Details!

Only one thing missing: Evidence!

Anyone can say anything, and often have.

1kiki, you are crazy to keep insisting Mueller was looking for collusion. Mueller and Trump both knew that collusion is NOT a crime. “There is no collusion, and even if there was, it’s not a crime.” - Trump

Mueller was looking for Russians. He found them. What Mueller didn't expect is that Trump would lie his head off during a deposition. You can read how many times Trump's lawyers answered questions with Trump doesn't remember in Part II of the Mueller report, in the Appendix C:

We received the President’s written responses in late November 2018.4 In December 2018. we informed counsel of the insufficiency of those responses in several respects.5 We noted, among other things, that the President stated on more than 30 occasions that he “does not ‘recall’ or ‘remember’ or have an ‘independent recollection’’’ of information called for by the questions.6 Other answers were “incomplete or imprecise.’’7 The written responses, we informed counsel, “demonstrate the inadequacy of the written format, as we have had no opportunity to ask followup questions that would ensure complete answers and potentially refresh your client’s recollection or clarify the extent or nature of his lack of recollection.”8 We again requested an in-person interview, limited to certain topics, advising the President’s counsel that “[t]his is the President’s opportunity to voluntarily provide us with information for us to evaluate in the context of all of the evidence we have gathered.’’9 The President declined.10

A paragraph is redacted with only the words Grand Jury Grand Jury showing.

Recognizing that the President would not be interviewed voluntarily, we considered whether to issue a subpoena for his testimony. We viewed the written answers to be inadequate. But at that point, our investigation had made significant progress and had produced substantial evidence for our report. We thus weighed the costs of potentially lengthy constitutional litigation, with resulting delay in finishing our investigation, against the anticipated benefits for our investigation and report. As explained in Volume 11, Section II.B., we determined that the substantial quantity of information we had obtained from other sources allowed us to draw relevant factual conclusions on {Trump's} intent and credibility, which are often inferred from circumstantial evidence and assessed without direct testimony from {Trump} the subject of the investigation.

Mueller knew Trump was lying. A Senate Impeachment trial could force Trump to testify without Mueller running the case up to the Supreme Court. But it was never Mueller's job to force Trump to either stop lying or publicly take the 5th Amendment on TV.

There are four broad areas where members of the Trump campaign did land in legal hot water, but Trump, Rod Rosenstein, Jeff Sessions, and Bill Barr intervened to save their fat asses from being boiled:

1. Lying to investigators
2. Obstruction of justice
3. Contributions and donations by foreign nationals
4. Fraud and related activity in connection with computers

By the way, Rod Rosenstein joined King & Spalding January 2020, a white-shoe international law firm best known for "advising Donald Trump's real estate empire." If you think Rosenstein wasn't a Trump man, you're wrong. Rosenstein and Sessions, even Barr, didn't go as far as Trump wanted, and angered Trump, because they had a modicum of professional ethics.

None of it having to do with RUSSIA!!RUSSIA!!RUSSIA!!, or collusion, or more specifically collusion with RUSSIA!!RUSSIA!!RUSSIA!! .

So, guess what! The Mueller Report found no collusion between Trump or his campaign and Russia to throw the election, which was Mueller's primary remit ... all your attempts to rewrite the facts notwithstanding.

It is like you have a learning disorder, 1kiki. You keep repeating the word collusion like you think that is crime. It is not a crime, except in anti-trust law. And you keep insisting Russia didn't interfere with the election, like you are a Russian or Trump, who is such a fat dumb fucker. Are you fat, 1kiki?
