FBI TWEETS: INFORM ON YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

FBI urges monitoring of ‘family members and peers’ for extremism

By Samuel Chamberlain

The Federal Bureau of Investigation warned Americans over the weekend to keep an eye on friends and family members for “signs of mobilization to violence” as part of the Biden administration’s continued focus on domestic extremism.

“Family members and peers are often best positioned to witness signs of mobilization to violence,” the FBI tweeted Sunday. “Help prevent homegrown violent extremism … learn how to spot suspicious behaviors and report them to the FBI.”

This is a week after Zuckerborg messaged the same thing.

Really think that Big Tech and security state aren't intertwined?

STORY TO DATE:

A whistleblower inside one of our security agencies came to Tucker Carlson and told him that the NSA was READING HIS EMAILS. In order to prove that what he said was true, he read part of the emails to Tucker, parts which only Tucker and the recipient should know about.

When Tucker asked for a denial, the FBI waffled and provided a non-denial denial "You are not a target...", much like Trump "not a target..." of an investigation.

But just like Trump was a target of illegal unmasking, leaks and smears, Tucker Carlson was a target of the same style of campaign

WHITE HOUSE ADMITS TO FLAGGING POSTS FOR FACEBOOK

We have previously discussed the extensive censorship programs maintained by Big Tech, including companies like Twitter and Facebook taking sides in major controversies from gender identification to election fraud to Covid-19. The rise of corporate censors has combined with a heavily pro-Biden media to create the fear of a de facto state media that controls information due to a shared ideology rather than state coercion. That concern has been magnified by demands from Democratic leaders for increased censorship, including censoring political speech, and now word that the Biden Administration has routinely been flagging material to be censored by Facebook.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted that the Biden administration is working with Facebook to flag “problematic” posts that “spread disinformation” on COVID-19. She explained that the Administration has created “aggressive” policing systems to spot “misinformation” to be “flagged” for the social media companies.

Obviously, anyone can object to postings. There is a greater danger when the government has a systemic process for aggressively flagging material to be censored. The real problem however is with the censorship system itself. We have seen how there needs to be little coordination between political figures and the media to maintain controlled narratives in public debates and discussions.

The concern is obvious that this allows for a direct role of the government in a massive censorship program run by private companies. There have been repeated examples of the censoring of stories that were embarrassing or problematic for the Biden Administration. Even when Twitter expressed regret for the censoring of the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election, there was an immediate push back for greater censorship from Democrats.

The concern is that these companies are taking to heart calls from Democratic members for increased censorship on the platform. CEO Jack Dorsey previously apologized for censoring the Hunter Biden story before the election. However, rather than addressing the dangers of such censoring of news accounts, Senator Chris Coons pressed Dorsey to expand the categories of censored material to prevent people from sharing any views that he considers “climate denialism.” Likewise, Senator Richard Blumenthal seemed to take the opposite meaning from Twitter, admitting that it was wrong to censor the Biden story. Blumenthal said that he was “concerned that both of your companies are, in fact, backsliding or retrenching, that you are failing to take action against dangerous disinformation.” Accordingly, he demanded an answer to this question:

The NSA is reading all of our emails. At the very least, every single email, text and phone conversation you've ever had has been warehoused and cataloged dating back at least to the Patriot Act for future perusal in case you ever become a person of interest.

That being said, I'd have to imagine that having some of your email conversations read out loud to you by a stranger would be pretty terrifying.

The IOT makes this all but inescapable. Almost everybody is walking around these days with a high quality microphone or two on them that can be accessed at any time. It doesn't matter if you don't have a cell phone when everybody else has one.

Strange days indeed.

Have you caught vid clips of that presser?
I think it was Peter Doucy asking, but wanted to know if the 14 Targeted individuals on their secret list had been informed they were targets, and Circle Back started backtracking, saying she never said there was a list, right after she had admitted they had a list. Lots of funny back-and-forth there. Dan Bongino had a really good segment on it, when it was happening live. Maybe there is a podcast of his show or something.

Now They Are Saying That The Republican Party Is The #1 “National Security Threat To The United States Of America”

.... Miles Taylor, a former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official, made the comment during a Thursday interview on MSNBC’s “The Reid Out.”

“I’ve spent my whole career not as a political operative. I’ve never worked on a campaign in my life other than campaigning against Trump. I’m a national security guy. I’ve worked in national security against ISIS, al Qaeda and Russia,” Taylor said.

“And the No. 1 national security threat I’ve ever seen in my life to this country’s democracy is the party that I’m in — the Republican Party. It is the No. 1 security national security threat to the United States of America,” he said.

I couldn’t believe that he actually said that.

In the past, members of the Biden administration have labeled certain political subgroups as national security threats, but now Miles Taylor is saying that the entire Republican Party is the number one national security threat that our nation is facing.

Just think about what that means.

When we would capture a member of Al-Qaeda or ISIS, we would ship them off to Guantanamo Bay and torture them for months or even years.

I always spoke out against such torture, because it was morally wrong.

And I knew that eventually the same tactics would be used against Americans.

With each passing day, the U.S. is getting closer and closer to becoming an authoritarian regime. On Friday, we learned that the Biden administration has been regularly working with social media companies to censor the speech of people that are concerned about the safety of the COVID vaccines…

The White House has decided to hit back harder on misinformation and scare tactics after Republican lawmakers and conservative activists pledged to fight the administration’s stated plans to go “door-to-door” to increase vaccination rates. The pushback will include directly calling out social media platforms and conservative news shows that promote such tactics.

“The big misinterpretation that Fox News or whomever else is saying is that they are essentially envisioning a bunch of federal workers knocking on your door, telling you you've got to do something that you don't want to do,” Anthony Fauci, President Biden’s chief medical adviser, said in an interview on Sunday. “That's absolutely not the case, it's trusted messengers who are part of the community doing that — not government officials. So that's where I think the disconnect is.”...

... Biden allied groups, including the Democratic National Committee, are also planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines that is sent over social media and text messages. The goal is to ensure that people who may have difficulty getting a vaccination because of issues like transportation see those barriers lessened or removed entirely.

“We are steadfastly committed to keeping politics out of the effort to get every American vaccinated so that we can save lives and help our economy further recover,” White House spokesperson Kevin Munoz said. “When we see deliberate efforts to spread misinformation, we view that as an impediment to the country's public health and will not shy away from calling that out.”

The pushback is a change of tone and approach from earlier this year, when the White House often chose to ignore its most vocal conservative critics out of a desire not to elevate them. It is a tacit acknowledgment that the July 4 goal of 70 percent vaccination nationwide was overly optimistic, if not naive. And it underscores that two realities are setting in: It’s becoming more difficult to convince vaccine-skeptics to get their shots (of the 10 least vaccinated states, all were won by Donald Trump in 2020) and the anti-vaccine voices, already vocal in the country, are becoming more mainstreamed by Republicans eager to oppose Biden-led initiatives.

About the Politico article:

1) I'm not sure that "trusted advisors" sounds any better than "government officials". In fact, it sounds creepier.

2) Am I the only one to catch the irony of the article bringing up "conservatives" and "Donald Trump" immediately after the call to "keep politics out" of the vaccination drive?

3) This desire of the DNC to control EVERYTHING tells me that they're still desperately trying to dislodge Trump from the political equation, and everything they've tried hadn't worked. It's like Brexit in Britain: that un-dislodgeable stone that the Liberals tried so hard to get rid of, but which they kept stumbling on over and over.

*****

The way I see it, the DNC is going to try and pin the Delta variant resurgence as well as the economic fallout on "conservatives" and "Donald Trump", and they're going to try to pin the mess we will be in by 2022 on the GOP.

Altho Trump pushed for rapid vaccine development and reportedly was vaccinated himself, his supporters have backed themselves into a corner by being so anti-vaxx that fallout from the Delta variant can be pinned on them, and made it impossible for Trump to try and steer his supporters in a different direction.

So now we have two entrely different narratives: the "establishment" and mainstream media who lied 24/7/365 about everything else but have the high ground on Covid-19, and the alternete media who were right about everything else but have ceded the high ground on Covid-19. So a lot depends on what happens next and who controls the narrative for how many people.

IF the Delta variant causes widespread deaths among the unvaccinated, then the DNC and M$M will flog this for all it's worth. Half of the nation will believe that narrative and some portion ... won't. The remainder will be uncertain. Inflation by then should be going at a good clip, too, and there won't be much of an economic recovery (stagnation + inflation = "stagflation") so there will be a lot of unsettled/pissed off people looking for someone to blame. As I said, I see the DNC/M$M/Big tech already setting the stage to blame Trump.

OTOH, if the "cases" rise but deaths don't (because 80% of the over-65 have already been fully vaccinated) then Trump and the convervatives can do a somewhat undeserved victory dance and focus on the economy. (I suspect deaths will rise some, but not catastrophically because many of the vulnerable have already been vaccinated. And if the Delta variant burns thru the nation between now and 2022, we may achieve herd immunity right in time for the mid-terms.)

The Coming Jan 6 Trainwreck

January 6 Capitol clash may be the gift that keeps on giving to cynics everywhere. In the coming months, Americans will likely see jaw-dropping bureaucratic debacles, stunning abuses by federal prosecutors, and appalling bloodlust by angry Biden supporters. Perhaps the least likely outcome is that the coming train wreck will restore faith in American democracy.

The Justice Department declared last week, “The investigation and prosecution of the Capitol Breach will be the largest in American history, both in terms of the number of defendants prosecuted and the nature and volume of the evidence.” The feds are sorting through “237,000 digital tips, 1 million Parler videos and images comprising 40 terabytes of data scraped from the Internet — roughly equivalent to 10 million photos, 20,000 hours of video, or 50,000 filing cabinets of paper documents,” theWashington Post reported. Investigators are also sorting through “cell tower data for thousands of electronic devices that connected to the Capitol’s interior distributed antenna system,” information provided by phone companies, Google, and other data aggregation companies. The problem will be compounded because many government employees are slow readers.

More than 500 protestors have already been charged in federal court, but their trials will likely be delayed at least until next year. Federal judge John Bates recently warned that evidence snafus could result in judges “going on the warpath.” If judges conclude that the Justice Department is unreasonably keeping January 6 defendants locked up (often in solitary confinement) too long, judicial edicts could unravel prosecutors’ long-term plans.

Federal cases against January 6 protestors are being built on what one savvy electronic evidence consultant called a “Tower of Babel nightmare.” While federal agents gloated at the 300,000 plus tips that poured into the FBI with regards to January 6 protestors, prosecutors are obliged to sift the hairballs and provide each defendant and their lawyers with potentially exculpatory evidence. The biggest data dump on record will likely spur a deluge of inadvertent or intentional withholding of evidence. The Justice Department recently notified defense lawyers that they would have to “build a system to receive the data” the feds delivered. The prosecution is also whining because a federal judge prevented them from relying on a private contractor to organize secret grand jury evidence.

The Justice Department may be delaying release of the bulk of the more than 14,000 hours of video surveillance from inside the Capitol on January 6 in an attempt to preserve Biden’s “domestic terrorism” storyline of that day’s events. ... federal prosecutors are using a simple formula: Trespassing plus thought crimes equals terrorism. On Monday, Paul Hodgkins was sentenced to 8 months in prison, though the feds admitted he was guilty simply of taking selfies, wearing a Trump T-shirt, and carrying a Trump flag into the Senate chamber and “did not personally engage in or espouse violence or property destruction.”
