We don't clean up the homeless problem for America. We only clean it when Chinese dictators come to visit.

Do Democrats think that Xi doesn't read?

Xi now knows that Americans don't clean up their homeless problem for America. They only clean it up for him.

Or if Superbowl is in town.

There is no "we". In any place in America, if the mayor and city council want to do something about homelessness, it gets done. When the mayor and city council are tired of doing something, it gets undone. There is no "we" until the Congress in DC decides that the USA will permanently and dependably continue to provide money to those mayors and city councils who are doing something. But the Republicans in Congress don't want to pay to end homelessness. Until they change, there is no "we".

They get PLENTY OF FUCKING MONEY and the problem doesn't get fixed because it's big business and they're all skimming off the top.

And now we're giving them money for homeless illegal invaders too instead of booting them the fuck out of the country and keeping anymore from coming in.

We treat hostile foreign invaders better than we treat our own homeless population.

But they clean up the all the piss and shit and used drug paraphernalia off the streets and hide all the homeless people in California every time a 3rd World Dictator visits or major sporting event pops up.

All those problems exist because, literally, nobody cares enough to pay to fix those problems permanently, systematically, across all of the USA. Somebody might care for a little while, but they soon run out of empathy, energy, or money. Maybe all three. When a problem permanently gets solved, such as what to do about old people living in poverty with no health care, there is a Federal program (Medicare, Social Security). Both those programs are constantly being attacked by Republicans as too expensive.

6ixStringJack, all these other problems that bother you will not be permanently solved because Republicans won't pay to solve them. Solutions are too expensive for Republicans. By the way, it is Congress that solves problems permanently, not the President because those guys come and go, wax and wane, but legislation stays around forever once passed into law.

SIX, you don't know the full story. It's worse than you think.

Biden* admin officilas have been angling for A YEAR to get a Xi- Biden* "summit" bc powerful interest groups needed it to happen:

a) Between the disaster that is Ukraine and complications in the Mideast, the Pentagon realizes it doesn't have anything it needs to fight a war with China this year. (It won't for the foreseeable future either, but they want to kick THAT can down the road a bit.)

bl The DNC doesn't want ANOTHER military disaster on its hands in the year before an election.

c) Janet Yellen (Treasury) desperately needs China to re-start buying USA bonds so she can continue to fund America's deficit

d) Tech business heads - Tim Cook (Apple), Elon Musk (Tesla), Bill Gates, Pfizer... businesses whose profits depend on cheap tech manufacturers in China - are anxious to continue normal trade with China.

A lot was riding on this meeting, from the American side. So Blinken went to China and got verbally beat up several months ago, and Yellen went to China, all to wrangle some sort of detente with China. The Chinese, knowing how desperately the Biden admin* wanted this meeting, drove a hard bargain, and kept the organizers guessing until just the last minute whether Xi would even attend.

They insisted that

a) SF streets be cleaned up

b) No anti- China demonstrations (So organizers wrangled the Chinese citizens of SF line the motorcade route waving Chinese flags, creating a visual that Xi has wide suport in the USA)

c) The meeting between Xi and Biden* take place BEFORE the Asia Pacific Economic Conference, to emphasize that Xi was not just "a" representative for APEC, but THE most important and powerful one

d) The meeting take place outside of SF

e) Now, I dont know if our State Department arranged this, but they certainly OK'd it: On the way home, Xi met with all those big business movers and shakers and they gave him a long, warm standing ovation.

And then, before Xi had even left for China, Biden (not the intergency that is Biden* but the individual Biden) went way off script, blurted out whatever came into his head at the moment, not at all in control of what he was saying, and shredded a whole year's worth of groveling and preparation.

So now Xi has an excuse, if he needed one, to isolate China from the USA even more, continue building his military, bind more tightly to Russia, continue to make inroads in the "global south", de- dollarize, etc etc.. everything the Biden* interagency DIDN'T want happening.

Not only do WE see it, the whole world sees it:

China is a powerful nation, the USA, led by a decrepit President, grovels before China.

This is a powerful card in international relations. Nations which may have been sitting on the fence between the "collective west" and the BRICS may be less afraid of the west's reaction, and feel safer under the BRICS umbrella. This will eventually lead to political, economic, financial, and military disaffection from the collective west.

Africa, the Mideast (China is a huge buyer of Mideast oil and gas, including from Iran), South America... everyone is recalculating their relationship with the USA, not just bc of Biden but bc powerful, functional American interest groups bent to China's will.

This will play HUGELY in the upcoming election. These interest groups, who happen to be wealthy DNC donors, are telling the DNC in no uncertain terms that Biden HAS TO GO.

So if you ask me today who I think will be running, it will be Gavin Newsom (with a Dem governor from the SE to "balance the ticket") v Trump.

Xi Outmaneuvers Biden In San Francisco
Friday, Nov 17, 2023 - 08:40 PM

Authored by Pepe Escobar,

On one side of the table, a Global South leader at the top of his game. On the other side, a mummy selling the illusion he’s the “leader of the free world.”

That was bound for a cliffhanger – before, during or after the crucial bilateral involving the world’s top two powers. Already during the introductory remarks, US Secretary of State Tony Blinken, sitting on the right side of the mummy, was as terrified as James Stewart afraid of heights in Hitchcock's "Vertigo" - sensing doom would dawn at any second.

Then it did - at the final presser. Joe Biden, the actor playing The Mummy, following a proverbial smirk, said Chinese President Xi Jinping is “a dictator”. Because he is the leader of a communist country.

All those previous elaborate plans unraveled, in a flash. A tentatively rosy scenario turned into a film noir. The Chinese Foreign Ministry’s response was as sharp as a Dashiell Hammett one-liner – and contextualized: this was not only “extremely wrong” but “an irresponsible political manipulation”.

All of the above of course assumed The Mummy knew where he was and what he was talking about, “off the cuff”, and not dictated by his ubiquitous earpiece.

The White House gives away the plot

The Xi-Biden drama, lasting a little over two hours, was not exactly a remake of “Vertigo”. Washington and Beijing seemed quite cozy jointly promising the proverbial promotion and strengthening of “dialogue and cooperation in various fields”; an intergovernmental dialogue on AI; drug control cooperation; back to high-level military-to-military talking; a “maritime security consultation mechanism”; significantly increasing flights by early 2024; and “expanding exchanges” in education, international students, culture, sports, and business circles.

The Hegemon was far from having a priceless Maltese Falcon (“the stuff dreams are made of”) to offer Beijing. China is already solidified as the world’s top trading economy by PPP. China is advancing at breakneck speed on the tech race even under nasty US sanctions. China’s soft power across the Global South/Global Majority increases by the day. China is co-organizing with Russia the concerted drive towards multipolarity.

The White House readout , as bland as it might seem, actually gives away the key part of the plot.

Biden – actually his earpiece - underscored “support for a free and open Indo-Pacific”; the defense of “our Indo-Pacific allies”; the “commitment to freedom of navigation and overflight”; “adherence to international law”; “maintaining peace and stability in the South China Sea and East China Sea”; “support to “Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression”; and “support for Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism”.

Beijing understands in detail the context and the geopolitical overtones of each of these pledges.

What the readout does not say is that Biden’s handlers also tried to convince the Chinese to stop buying oil from their strategic partner Iran.

That’s not gonna happen. China imported an average of 1.05 million barrels of oil a day from Iran over the first 10 months of 2023 - and rising.

US Think Tankland, always excelling in misinformation and disinformation, believed in their own childish projection of Xi playing tough guy against the US in Asia, knowing that Washington can’t afford a third love affair, sorry, war front on top of Ukraine and Israel/Palestine.

The fact is Xi knows all there is to know about imperial, rotating Hybrid War fronts, plus others that can be powered on at the flick of a switch. The Hegemon continues to provoke disturbance not only in Taiwan but in the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, India, and continues to flirt with possible color revolutions in Central Asia.

There has been no direct US-China confrontation yet thanks to millenary Chinese diplomatic expertise and long term vision. Beijing knows in detail how Washington is simultaneously in Full Hybrid War mode against BRI (the Belt and Road Initiative) and BRICS – soon to become BRICS 11.
Only two options for China and the US

A Sino-American reporter, after the introductory remarks, asked Xi, in Mandarin, if he trusted Biden. The Chinese President perfectly understood the question, looked at her, and did not answer.

That’s a key plot twist. After all, Xi knew from the beginning he was talking to the handlers controlling an earpiece. Moreover, he was fully aware of Biden, actually his handlers, qualifying Beijing as a threat to the “rules based international order,” not to mention relentless accusations of “Xinjiang genocide” plus the containment tsunami.

Not by accident, last March, in a speech to Communist Party notables, Xi explicitly stated that the US is engaged in “comprehensive containment, encirclement and suppression against us.”

Shanghai-based scholar Chen Dongxiao suggests that China and US should engage in “ambitious pragmatism”. That happened to be exactly the tone of Xi’s key takeaway in San Francisco:

“There are two options for China and the US in the era of global transformations unseen in a century: One is to enhance solidarity and cooperation and join hands to meet global challenges and promote global security and prosperity; and the other is to cling to the zero-sum mentality, provoke rivalry and confrontation, and drive the world towards turmoil and division. The two choices point to two different directions that will decide the future of humanity and Planet Earth."

That is as serious as it gets. Xi added context. China is not engaged in colonial plunder; is not interested in ideological confrontation; it does not export ideology; and it has no plans to surpass or replace the US. So the US should not attempt to suppress or contain China.

Biden’s handlers may have told Xi that Washington still follows the One China policy – even as it continues to weaponize Taiwan under the twisted logic that Beijing might “invade”. Xi, once again, provided the concise clincher: “China will eventually, inevitably be reunified” with Taiwan.
$40,000 for dinner with Xi

Amid all the barely concealed tension, relief in San Francisco came in the form of business. Everyone and his corporate neighbor – Microsoft, Citigroup, ExxonMobil, Apple – was dying to meet with leaders from several APEC nations. And especially from China.

APEC after all accounts for nearly 40% of the global population and nearly 50% of global trade. This is all about Asia-Pacific – not “Indo-Pacific”, an empty “rules-based international order” gambit that no one knows anything about, much less uses anywhere across Asia. Asia-Pacific will account for at least two-thirds of global growth in 2023 – and counting.

Hence the sterling success of a business dinner at the Hyatt Regency, with tickets costing between $2,000 and $40,000, hosted by the National Committee on United States-China Relations (NCUSCR) and the US-China Business Council (USCBC). Xi, inevitably, was the star of the show.

Corporate honchos well knew in advance that the US opted out of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP); and that the new trade gambit, the so-called Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) is basically D.O.A. IPEF may deal with supply chain issues but it does not hit the heart of the matter: lower tariffs and wide market access.

So Xi was there to “sell” to investors not only China but a great deal of Asia-Pacific as well.

One day after San Francisco, the heart of the action moved to Shanghai and a high-level Russia-China conference; that’s the kind of meeting where the strategic partnership formulates paths ahead in the Long March to Multipolarity.

In San Francisco, Xi made a point to stress that China respects the “historical, cultural and geographical position” of the US, while hoping that the US would respect the “path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.”

And here’s where the film noir plot approaches the final shootout. What Xi hopes will never happen with Straussian neocon psychos running US foreign policy. And that was starkly confirmed by The Mummy, a.k.a. Joe “Dictator” Biden.

So much for realpolitik practitioner Joseph “soft power” Nye, one of the few realists that believe China and the US, like James Stewart and Kim Novak in “Vertigo”, need each other, and should not be separated.

Well, unfortunately, in “Vertigo” the heroine plunges into the void and dies

No worries about housing and feeding the illegal invaders in New York City anymore though. Eric Adams got it covered.

New York Times: Eric Adams Slashes Budgets for Police, Libraries and Schools

Mr. Adams said the migrant crisis made the deep budget cuts necessary. Progressive Democrats called the reductions dangerous and unnecessary.

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/16/nyregion/nyc-budget-cuts-schools-po
lice-trash.html

"Dangerous and unnecessary"?

This is a twofer for you fucking "progressive" lunatics. You get to have not only one or two brown people on your streets, but the entire streets are brown now. And you finally got the police defunded right in time for it all too.

A threefer, really...

With the schools losing all that funding to house and feed all those criminal invaders, all the kids in NYC are going to be fucked now too. Not the way you degenerates would want to fuck them, but they're fucked nonetheless.

I only hope for your sakes that when they defund the libraries they only cut staff and stop buying books so they can keep funding Drag Queen Story Hour clown parties for your kids.

Good for you, Eric. Because the Biden* Administration didn't like you calling out the illegal alien invader problem he created on a national platform, your political career is over. There's no way you were ever going to be reelected anyhow even if the FBI doesn't drag you out on your ass and throw you in a cell now, so just throw a bunch of gasoline all over the city, light the match on your way out and don't even look back to watch the fire because you look way cooler when you don't turn around to look at it.

He Who Must Not Be Named: The Hunter Biden Indictment is Itself a Model of Evasion

Below is my column in the New York Post on the second indictment of Hunter Biden. The tax evasion charges were brought in a type of Voldemort indictment, skillfully detailing millions acquired from influence peddling without mentioning “he who must not be named.” Indeed, it says nothing of how or why millions were sent to Hunter.

Here is the column:

The 56-page indictment of Hunter Biden for tax evasion makes for racy reading, with the special counsel describing a four-year criminal pattern directed at maintaining Biden’s “extravagant lifestyle.”

That lifestyle included massive expenses for strippers, sex clubs, fast cars and other distractions.

The steps taken by Hunter to evade taxes are impressive, but not nearly as impressive as the efforts of the Justice Department to evade any direct implications for his father, President Biden.

In that sense, the indictment itself is a marvel of evasion.

There are three glaring omissions in the indictment that tend to shield critical payments and conduct that implicate the president.

The Burisma-Ukrainian money

First, the special counsel only indicts tax evasion that occurred in recent years.

That’s because the long “investigation” into Hunter inexplicably allowed the statute of limitations to expire on the most controversial payments starting around 2014 from Ukraine gas company Burisma.

Recent testimony from IRS whistleblowers suggests that wasn’t an accident. Investigators were stonewalled, they claimed, and the Justice Department was previously moving to reject any charges against Hunter Biden.

Exploring those earlier Ukrainian payments opens up questions about Hunter’s influence peddling and would have highlighted the conflict in his father’s extraordinary move to force the Ukrainians to fire a prosecutor investigating Burisma by holding back a billion dollars in aid for the country.

There is still no explanation why special counsel David Weiss would allow the statute of limitations to run out.

But this recent indictment keeps the focus squarely on taxes not paid, not how the money was “earned” in the first place.

Hunter the foreign agent

Also missing in the indictment is any charge against Hunter Biden as an unregistered foreign agent.

Recently, the Justice Department added a charge to the indictment of Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) that he ran afoul of FARA, the Foreign Agents Registration Act. FARA also was used to go after Donald Trump associates such as Paul Manafort.

The problem with charging Hunter with FARA is obvious.

It opens up questions about the millions of dollars going to the Biden family from foreign sources, a topic that Attorney General Merrick Garland has spent years avoiding.

In the second indictment, Weiss spends more time detailing the salacious use of this money rather than how and why it was given to the Bidens.

He just matter-of-factly describes millions flowing through these accounts from China, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and other countries.

The unindicted co-conspirator

By focusing on tax evasion alone, Weiss again avoids any direct reference to the focus of the influence-peddling used to raise these millions of dollars.

Even without mentioning the president, the implications of the indictment are devastating for the narrative and denials of Joe Biden.

The president has continued to maintain that he had no knowledge or interaction with these dealings. Those statements are clearly and knowingly false.

The president also maintained that his son has “never done anything wrong” and never accepted any money from China.

That is also untrue, according to the Justice Department and Hunter himself.

Yet Weiss continues to avoid any need to address the person who was the selling point of the influence peddling.

It was the same person who repeatedly called in to dinners and meetings, repeatedly attended events, and held meetings and photo shots for these clients.

Instead, Weiss indicts the failure to pay taxes on the proceeds of these dealings without addressing that underlying corruption.

It is akin to arresting a bank robber for speeding away from the crime scene without mentioning the reason for his flight.

In a scandal with dozens of references to the president and millions sent for influence and access, it took a steady hand for Weiss to avoid ever touching on President Biden’s role.

This was a truly Homeric feat — unseen since the Greek hero Odysseus won a competition by shooting an arrow through the tiny hole in a dozen ax heads.

It takes perfect aim to avoid any contact. It is itself the very model of evasion.

Trump is not mentioned directly in the provision. He has also not explicitly promised to withdraw from what was originally a Cold War-era alliance. Nonetheless, there are persistent fears that if Trump wins the 2024 presidential election, he will withdraw the US from NATO. As The New York Times pointed out recently,

I don't think it's a wise campaign strategy to run on that though.

Senate Negotiators Reach Bi-Partisan Border Deal that Biden Will Sign

Senate negotiators have reached an agreement tonight on a comprehensive, bi-partisan border deal that President Biden has pledged to sign. The only problem is the House, and the fact that Speaker Johnson seems to be completely controlled by Donald Trump on this issue.

The agreement would give the president the authority to completely shut down the border if crossings reach certain levels, and President Biden's statement said that he would exercise that authority immediately. The asylum process would also be sped up so that cases could be processed more quickly, which would also speed up deportations for migrants who fail to qualify.

If Joe is too mentally frail to be charged with mishandling classified documents, he's too mentally frail to be President.

Quote:

Democrats have been reassuring themselves that President Biden’s cognitive decline is no obstacle to his re-election, but perhaps this week will be a tipping point. Special counsel Robert Hur’s report about the President’s failure to recall basic facts of his life and Mr. Biden’s multiplying public lapses are ample reason for urging him to withdraw from the 2024 race.
***

Mr. Hur’s account of his five-hour interview with Mr. Biden opened a rare window on the President in private. His account exposed what many Americans have suspected based on Mr. Biden’s many public misstatements and faltering physical presence. He couldn’t recall which years he was Vice President or even when his son Beau died. He said an ally in the Obama Administration’s debate over Afghanistan was on the opposite side.

Democrats are raging against Mr. Hur, but they should be grateful. Mr. Biden’s mental frailty is one reason Mr. Hur offered for not presenting the President’s document-mishandling as a criminal offense before a jury. His report is also forcing Democrats to confront the political reality that Mr. Biden’s decline could re-elect Donald Trump.

Mr. Biden compounded the damage with his performance in a rare 13-minute press appearance at the White House on Thursday night. He was angry and snappish. Worse, he confused Egypt’s President with Mexico’s in relation to Gaza, of all places.

Letters to the Editor: Could you perform like 81-year-old Joe Biden in the State of the Union address?

To the editor: Thanks to Dr. Daniel Stone, a geriatrician, for his understandable and clear explanation of an older person's mind. ("What a doctor sees when Joe Biden hesitates," Opinion, March 7)

I'm 76, and I get mad when people mock President Biden because he's 81. I'm proud of him for doing such a difficult job — and that he even wants to do it. I feel like he's our only barrier to an accused criminal taking over American government.

Why isn't that obvious?

I taught for 40 years, and I see when somebody knows what he's talking about. It's pretty obvious that former President Trump knows nothing and doesn't want to learn.

Last Thursday, I watched Biden make sense for more than an hour in his State of the Union address. That’s good enough for me.

Hang in there, Mr. President.

I don't give a shit that Biden* is 81 years old. I've never once mentioned his age.

He's a fuckin' meat popsicle. He's said on no less than 10 occasions that he wasn't going to answer any questions because he'd "get in trouble". He can't find his way off the stage. He extends his hand to shake the hands of phantoms. He fucks up nearly every speech he's allowed to do by misnaming everyone, claiming we're at war with countries who are actually our allies, or simply losing whatever point he was trying to make while rambling on and then looking at the cameras like a deer in headlights while saying "never mind".

The problem with Biden* is that he's not actually our President. He's a pinch hitter for Obama's 3rd term, and they only cart him out in front of the cameras when they absolutely have to, and they've got to get him all pilled up on Adderall before they even dare risk it. They probably have to put the drugs in his ice cream to fool him into taking them and feed it to him like he's a fucking dog.

And trust me... Barack Obama is the most disappointed out of all Democrats that it had to be Joe*. Even more so now that we're looking forward to his possible 2nd term and the prospect of an 85 year old Joe Biden* that will be borderline catatonic by 2028.

Biden budget would cut taxes for millions. Here's who would qualify.

President Joe Biden's proposed 2025 budget includes some perks for millions of families and low-income workers as well as senior citizens, including reviving a program that lifted millions of children out of poverty during the pandemic.

The budget, released Tuesday, aims to pay for those tax breaks by raising taxes on corporations and the rich. One proposal, for instance, would completely reverse one of the cuts implemented by former President Donald Trump, whose 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act mostly eased the tax burdens on businesses and the nation's highest earners.

About 75 billion but our GDP is 27 trillion moron. Now what did we get for that? First of all, 90+ percent of that money is spent right here in the United States. It pays for the old outdated arms and ammunition to be moved off our shelves and sent to Ukraine. It also pays for the manufacturing of our updated more advanced arms and ammunition.

What else did we get for our money? Well Russia our nemesis, has lost so much treasure fighting in Ukraine, arms ammunition and personal, it will take decades for them to get back to normal. Which by the way, can’t really happen. And this is far from over.

Ukraine is finished. And your number is half of reality.

You wonder why I can easily live the way that I do?

Because in a world where the US Government now spends $7.6 Trillion in a year, or $23,030 per person living here, I can easily live on $7,000 even post Bidenflation.

The amount of money that our broken government wastes on a yearly basis is appalling. Nearly every single person charged with running the country over the last 50 years was completely wrong for the job.

Fuck the NeoCons running The Lincoln Project.

That black dude in the thumbnail is in the minority. They're not voting for Biden* this time around.

Anti-Immigrant Law Backfires As Nebraskan Town Now Begging For Workers After Renting Ban

Fremont, a city with a population of around 27,000 in Nebraska, USA, is facing a paradox. On one hand, it has three massive meat-processing plants that demand workers. On the other hand, locals don’t want to do the job, and immigrants aren’t exactly welcomed with open arms.

In 2010, residents voted 57% to 43% to require that all people renting a property in Fremont must first sign a declaration that they are legally present in the U.S.
