Out in a bit to get some stuff done. Forgot a couple of things yesterday and need to get them today. Appointment made for follow to neurologist. Desk lady I talked too was touchy. No one told me they would call me back to make an appointment but she did it anyways. It's for Halloween. *L* October 30th. So two appointments for October. One on the first and then the 30th.

Picked some late season tomatoes for salads. I'll be sorry to see them disappear. So much better than store bought!

First infusion treatment coming up Thursday, which I'm absolutely dreading. It will put a long term (multi year to potentially permanent) dent in my immune system, and a huge crimp in my activities.

Got back around 6pm today. This afternoon's game was around 5 hours long. *L* I won 2 rounds the first and the last then lady who runs the regular group won 1. I had some really good hands today too.

Let's see if my luck holds tomorrow at the regular game. And hopefully the fire guys will get here on time.

I chickened out of my first infusion. It seems like such a drastic treatment for what is still a mild case of GPA. So not gonna do anything until I talk to the experts at UCLA in a couple of weeks. I stalled on this particular treatment for several months already. Other than my Dr being pissed at me, what's another couple of weeks?

In the meantime, I did more legal/ financial/ estate plan stuff.

And since the weather is good, I started fall (spring, summer

) cleanup. Right now I'm just raking, weeding, sweeping, and binning. Yanno, a quick outdoor tidying up. More re-grading and weeding is in the plan. And that paper that I put down saved a whole lot of weeding, so I'm definitely gonna do more of that too.

Starting Sunday, it's predicted to go up to the low 80s, a little warmer than like, but still workable.

But after doing five days of yardwork, I just took it easy today. Didn't even cook. Just did sandwich takeout. Boy! Is that expensive!

Back and done from a walk.

Did something I probably should have done in two steps. I took an old wicker chair down to the garbage. It was broken in spots and covered in dust. It was over 20years old and had its time. Been moved around and in storage for almost a year. Sorry to have to have done it but it was time.

Making some huge progress on my project. That's about it though recently.

There's still a long way to go, but it's been nice crossing off so many things from the to-do list and wrapping up certain segments of it entirely.

Like I said before, this is a project that could technically go on forever. The portion I'm hyper-focusing on is only one large part of a much greater whole too. But I believe the quality of what I will be releasing will be so strikingly high compared to anything that has come before, that among those who make use of it there are bound to be at least a small percentage of mad lads out there who would want to take my mold and apply it elsewhere.

Part of what I'm doing now is also streamlining things. Part of that process is eliminating work that I'd put quite a bit of time into at one point or another. But enough time has passed that I can let that stuff go. Stuff that took an exorbitant amount of time/effort with little payoff or things that just hit dead-ends and could never be completed for one reason or another. None of this work is easy or fast, but bogging it down with superfluous "flare" on the outskirts only serves to put others off from picking this up one day. The intentions of the project when I wrap it up and get it out there need to be crystal clear as well as what needs to be done in the future with steps all laid out for how to go about it.

I had the solar panels cleaned today. Did you know somebody came up with a tool just for that? I expect we'll get that money back in electricity.

And while he was at it, I had the guy clean out our gutters too.
