It will be interesting to see the total number of votes in 2024 v 2020. Voter turnout yesterday was huge. YUGE!

But if the # of votes in 2024 doesn't exceed the # of votes in 2020, the 2020 vote was incredible. As in NOT CREDIBLE. I went looking for that figure and haven't found it so far. I'll keep looking.

The number of 2024 votes is insanely smaller than in 2020. It's not even close. They locked up a lot of those last-minute Covid-era changes they made and something like 10 Million votes evaporated from the system since last election.

The total votes in 2020 was 81,282,632 for Joe Biden* and 74,223,234 for Donald Trump. (Donald Trump's 74.2 Million would have been a record vote for President, had Joe Biden* not magically beat that prior record by an additional 7 Million.)

Currently, the vote count is only 67,227,632 for Harris and 72,035,234 for Trump.

Trump will get more votes than he got in 2020.

There's still a lot of votes to count on the West Coast, but there just isn't enough blue left to get her anywhere close to winning the Popular vote.

I predicted that Trump wins every battle ground save possibly two of them, and 1 Million+ on the Popular vote. But the deficit that Harris will have because of the low voter turnout this election might make that a 2 Million+ result for Trump in the Popular Vote.

In the old Senate, there were only 19 Republicans (and, to be fair, 2 Dems + 1 independent) who had balls enough to not vote for aid the Ukraine. IDK what the new Senate will look like. For sure many will feel which way the wind is blowing, but who needs weathervane partners?

So, for sure the deep state is going to block Trump at every turn. I hope he learned his lesson from last time: y'all can't negotiate with them motherfuckers.

Instead of a replay of TRUMP!RUSSIA! I expect that they'll attempt to saddle him with all of the problems they created in the past few years, starting with blaming him for Ukraine's (really, NATO'S) defeat. Also, our unsustainable debt. I wonder if The Fed will jack up interest rates in January and crash the stock and real estate markets?
