I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

I think there's a lot going on in the background we don't know about.

Personally, I think Trump has about a dozen bags of burning dogshit on his porch, and TPTB covered up the dogshit for years, if not decades. Hell, if they can cover up the mental incompetence of a President of the United States, they can cover up anything.
Right?

So they decided to light them on fire now to discredit Trump and his policies. This is the problem that "death of America and the collective west" brought up. Border and DEI issues were nothing, compared to what's lurking in the deep.

I can imagine that BlackRock was heavily invested in Project Pillage Russia/ Pillage Ukraine, and if that project went tits-up BlackRock itself might be in trouble, so this might be a Project Rescue BlackRock. Bc, IMHO, some banks, investment firms and even the USA itself that are teetery, financially. It was just papered over with lots and lots and LOTS of newly-printed dollars.

Remember, Trump is swimming with the sharks now, and I'm not talking about the Deep State and the Dem Party. Those guys are pikers in comparison to financial insitutions and hedge funds and the interests of other superpowers.

There's another aspect to this. I heard a very interesting discussion with TheGrayZone's Max Blumenthal (not related to the other Blumenthal). He criticized Trump's foreign policy for a number of cogent reasons, the main reason being Trump's 19th century view of "multipolar". In Trump's view, "multipolar" means major powers with their "spheres of influence", where each major power (USA, Russia, China) has an area that it controls. For us, it would be the western hemisphere.

In CHINA'S view*, China is an EXPORTING economy and "multipolar" means that China should be able to invest anywhere in the world; establish mines, factories, and ports anywhere in the world; and trade anywhere in the world. China's Belt and Road initiative (BRI) is to establish the ports, railways etc needed for global trade. If you think that means China is aiming to become the next GLOBAL economic superpower, you're right.

China and Panama had a deal, where China would build infrastructure (ports, I think) in return for favored transit fees. So Trump leaned on Panama, making them break their last contract with China. I think this is Part 2 of Trump trying to clip China's nose and control the western hemisphere.

The original owner was, IIRC, a Hong Kong company, and Hong Kong IS PART OF CHINA.

What we're looking at is The Clash of the Titans. Only ginormous multinationals need apply.

* For the sake of completeness, I think Russia also wants to be able to trade, but it doesn't have an impulse to be the next global superpower. Mainly, I think, it just wants the threats and harassment to stop.
