Well thank God for Amy Comey Barett.

It's just a goddamned shame that we've still left the door open on this one for somebody to push it through the Supreme Court at a later date.

I know some Republican voters are going to hate this ruling, but fuck'em. They are short-sighted idiots and morons that can't make correlations between what they've seen done to us in the past and what setting precedent like this would mean for our future.

Sure... While Trump is President we could see Christian schools get big boosts in Taxpayer dollars today and that would make a not insignifigant amount of people who voted for Trump very happy today, but if you want to see what that's going to lead to tomorrow, just look at the EU.

We'll have a taxpayer funded masque and muslim public school on every corner like they were 7-11's the next time we get some wingnut like Barack Obama in office.

It's bad enough I've got to fund the trash we call public schools when I'm not sending anyone there. I sure as hell don't want any religion taught in any of them.

You can teach kids about morality without the religous framework. Why don't you try doing that instead of whatever evil bullshit you've been filling their heads with for the last 12 years that has apparently been driving them crazy and see how that goes?

And for fuck's sake, take away their smartphones already. Why are we still having that debate in 2025 when it's a no brainer? Why am I paying so much every year for your kids to go get babysat while they play video games on their phones or whatever the hell kids do in the 2020's to avoid doing anything resembling work?

The school children who are not allowed to use their phones in school are the religious school kids, and some of the Charter School kids.
All of the Public School kids cannot have their phones taken away.

JEWELS, you ASSUME that religious schools are competent. What makes you think they can teach things like ... biology? Chemistry? Critical thinking? Maybe they can squeeze that in between catechism and Bible studies?

First to admit public schools ars zoos... dumping grounds for kids too misbehaved or too poor for private schools, but religious schools are not the answer.

If you want to know why, refresh your memory of the various state-sponsored religions in Europe and across the world, and count up the religious wars they created.

There is no place for taxpayer dollars to fund religious schools of any kind. And yes. They do and have funded plenty of masques and schools on our dime. Just because it isn't happening in a neighborhood by you, doesn't mean that it's not happening. I've watched as they've descended like locusts and taken over entire neighborhoods of Chicago suburbs. Bridgeview, IL practically belongs to them at this point, for instance.

Don't talk about my knowledge levels or ability to reason when you're simple one-track primate Rethuglican brain makes an appearance.
