I finally scheduled an appt to see an orthopedist to find out WTH is going on with my knees and feet. The stiffness, swelling, and instability are making even everday activities painful. I can't take NSAIDS bc chemo ruined my kidneys, and more steroids just keep increasing the chance of permanent side effects. Unfortunately the appt isn't until late Sept. In the meantime I'm looking at getting some real shoes for my super wide, chemo-induced neuropathic feet, since my slipper-shoes have no cushioning or support.

Honestly SIG. I have no idea. I tried seeing if they are gone or whatever but trying that doesn't seem to bring up any answers. Might have to stop at my local library. There is still a real book that lists publishers in Canada and that might tell me something more.

SIG, thought would compression stockings help you? I know I have to wear the dang things because of the case of varicose veins I had years ago and walking a lot of the hills around my city.

Well temp wise, computer temp is reading 29C which is 88F. It is hotter today than yesterday. Groceries got and checked library. Anything resembling a book on publishers in Canada is mixed with American ones and the book itself was published in 2021 or 2023. Either way not helpful.

Back today and some supper got. Another lousy morning at mah jong. Managed to go out once and that was about all. 4 people playing at a table and it is hard to get what tiles you need. Almost had winds & dragons but couldn't get rid of about 5 tiles that don't go with that.

Just a tiny bit cooler today. Computer temp reading 27C which is 84F.

Got back around 5pm and once again told my boss about the jungle her rhubarb was becoming. As well as telling her about the bugs on the huge leaves and the woodiness of the stalks.

Also told her I can to cancel something because it would disturb some friends. Her comment was how considerate I was of my friends.

I am very tired right now.

It is very hard to tell at times. That seemed snide about my friends. But there was no comment when I said that their family was more important than I am.
