Cool. I haven't seen an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Drives in ages. I love that show. They find some of wackiest places in the US and in Canada. They've filmed at least one episode in Vancouver and back in either Montreal.

I didn't even know it happened at the time, but I read about it in a magazine. They had a little 1-page blurb with graphics showing funny and/or stupid shit that has happened over the years in baseball from the early 1900's until now and that back and forth was one of the things they brought up in the article.

Plus I did more than usual including the tops of window frames, door frames, doors and windowsills. Not quite a spring cleaning but very thorough! So three bucket changes and 2.5 hours later, the house is cleaner!

Have you figured out the wonders of the microfiber rag yet?

I've had a dozen of those things lying around that I got for free after rebate years ago.

I used to use wipes, and before that I would use a spray bottle and paper towels to wipe down dust off of things. I know there was a non-feather feather duster in the mix at one point, and a swiffer thing with expensive replacement pads too. I figured there had to be an easier way to do it, so I youtubed it. Those rags are amazing. Just work your way down from the top to the bottom, then hit everything with a vacuum and you're done. Wash the rags and you're ready for next time. So much wasted time and/or living with dust all my life because I didn't know the right way to do the job.

They had a little 1-page blurb with graphics showing funny and/or stupid shit that has happened over the years in baseball from the early 1900's until now and that back and forth was one of the things they brought up in the article.

I read an interesting stat that players who travel east are jet-lagged to be a bit behind the local time, for them they have to play "early" so, statistically, they don't do as well. That would presumably give Jay's the edge on their home field.
